I assume Avery stays art the back and Dodges for a round, although if that's not the case let me know. Coriana steps forward and casts Eldritch Blast again, throwing two blasts at the Grick.
The Gibberring Mouther finally breaks out of the Entangling vines and moves up toward Avery, who feels the sounds getting louder and louder inside his mind; trying to control his actions.
The Grick hacks at the Net with its Tentacles at Disadvantage Attack: 12 Damage: 21 Slashing
Then snaps at the Prone snake with it's Beak Attack: 27 Damage: 37 Piercing
Gibbering Mouther Effect: 1-4: Do Nothing, 5-6: Take no action or Bonus Action and uses all your movement to move in a random direction, 7-8: Make a melee attack against a randomly determined creature within its reach or do nothing if it can’t make such an attack: 2
"Coriana, dismiss Asclepius before that thing destroys them!"
(OOC: I think that you should assume that Coriana also dismissed Asclepius on her turn so that the Staff of the Python isn't destroyed! Or, if not that, she would have had Asclepius disengage and retreat toward her.
Since that probably means that the Grick would move forward to attack Xanrym, I'll also say that Xanrym would cast Shield when it attacks him. Because of that, the slam attack fails to hit, and he is not knocked Prone. Therefore, the beak attack would not be made with advantage. I cannot see dice roll tooltips on my phone, so I don't know whether that beak attack is still a critical hit.)
Khessa hisses a curse between her teeth when she sees that the Gibbering Mouther has finally freed itself - but she hopes that the Grick will soon be overcome, on which her companions of adventure are concentrating and with whom she has already established a magical 'electrifying' contact!
The blonde arcane warrior runs until she is one step in front of Xanrym, then, waiting to finally be able to enter melee with the tentacled worm, she shoots him at point-blank range with a mote of magical fire while the electric arc formed between her and the monster continues to have effect (and to electrocute him).

(OOC: FYI - if Asclepius was dismissed by Coriana last round, and the Grick attacked Xanrym, then Xanrym is now the most injured PC w/ just 10 HP. Correction: with the re-rolled attack, Xanrym was not hit and is still uninjured.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: @drumdigby - Ah! Was that you? I saw those rolls in the game log, including a critical hit.
Note that both you and @Charwoman_Gene forgot to apply the extra necrotic damage from Hex. I don't think that anything has happened that would break Coriana's concentration since her last concentration check. Since that damage is applied to each "attack" that hits, the Grick may already be dead. The last four EB attack rolls in the game log are 24, 27, 18, and 19. That's 4 attacks hitting, and one was a critical hit, so there should have been an extra 5d6 damage --> 16 (necrotic). Is the Grick Ancient still alive, or did Coriana's Hex kill it off?)
(OOC: Bringing this to the game thread for clarity. In round 4, Coriana dismissed Asclepius, so the Grick Ancient moved forward on its turn to attack Xanrym.)

I actually can't see the original To Hit rolls when I hover over the tooltip, but I can see the damage, so i'll just roll another to hit here: Beak to hit Xanrym: 11 and 18 Piercing Damage.
Reaction: (on the Grick's turn) cast Shield (1/day via Magic Initiate)boosting his AC to 21. Until the start of Xanrym's next turn, he has AC = 21, including against the triggering attack
The Grick nearly slams into Xanrym, but he reacts quickly enough to cast a spell, and the Grick slams into his Shield with a shuddering thud. The Grick had expected to knock him down and therefore aimed its beak attack poorly, and Xanrym narrowly escapes unscathed.

Round 5: Xanrym
(Assuming that the Hex damage didn't already kill the Grick...)
Coriana's repelling blast knocked the Grick 20-ft away again, but Xanrym is surprised to see that it's still alive! He throws his spear at it before it can gather itself, casting True Strike to guide his attack.
Since Xanrym barely escaped the Grick's attacks last round, and Khessa has finally made it over next to him, he says, "Can you finish it off?" Not waiting for any answer, he takes this opportunity to fall back toward Theldrin and get ready to fight the other abomination that has finally escaped Syllen's spell. He can hear the echoes of its maddening voices growing louder as it creeps closer.
Movement: Move 30-ft NW to end his turn next to Theldrin. (He does not need to disengage since Coriana's repelling blast pushed the Grick 20-ft away from him.) Action: Cast a spell True Strike with Attack, Spear (20/60): 16, Damage: 4 (piercing) + 5 (radiant) = 12 (total) Free Action: Talking.
If the Grick was already dead before his turn, then Xanrym would have instead moved back to Theldrin first and then cast Dissonant Whispers on the Gibbering Mouther.

Khessa and Syllen's attacks hits, while Theldrin's does not.
Grick Ancient DC 21 DEX Save: 11
Avery and Coriana still up.
And the Grick is Restrained.
I assume Avery stays art the back and Dodges for a round, although if that's not the case let me know. Coriana steps forward and casts Eldritch Blast again, throwing two blasts at the Grick.
Gibbering Mouther STR Save: 19
The Gibberring Mouther finally breaks out of the Entangling vines and moves up toward Avery, who feels the sounds getting louder and louder inside his mind; trying to control his actions.
The Grick hacks at the Net with its Tentacles at Disadvantage Attack: 12 Damage: 21 Slashing
And destroys the net, then Slams Ascepelious: Attack: 18 Damage: 6 Bludgeoning and the snake is Prone.

Does that bring Ascepelious to 0 hp? I'll mark his token as X to reflect that I believe it might have.
You all are up. On Avery's turn he makes a DC 10 WIS Save or does nothing on his turn.
Round 4
Khessa hisses a curse between her teeth when she sees that the Gibbering Mouther has finally freed itself - but she hopes that the Grick will soon be overcome, on which her companions of adventure are concentrating and with whom she has already established a magical 'electrifying' contact!
The blonde arcane warrior runs until she is one step in front of Xanrym, then, waiting to finally be able to enter melee with the tentacled worm, she shoots him at point-blank range with a mote of magical fire while the electric arc formed between her and the monster continues to have effect (and to electrocute him).
[[ OOC: Movement to advance towards the Grick, Action to cast Fire Bolt, Bonus Action to do damage with Witch Bolt ]]
Khessa's Fire Bolt Attack: 13 Damage: 13 (fire)
Witch Bolt (no more need to roll to hit): Damage: 2 (lightning)
Avery stays back
(OOC: @Aaggie - note that Syllen healed Avery in round 3. Avery should be back up to 31 HP.
With a 20 DEX, we should really get Avery some more daggers or darts so that he can make ranged attacks when he's not in melee.)
[[I'm assuming Coriana lost her round three action entirely.]]
Coriana dismisses Asclepius before he is destroyed. [[Bonus Action, 6 hp]]
She then fires at the gibbering mouther with her blasts.
EB: AC 18, 6 force, pushed 10 ft.
EB: AC 19, 9 force, pushed 10 ft.
Coriana - Company of the Grey Chain
Wagner - Dragon Heist: Bards.

Theldrin moves 15 ft. to the east, the sends a blast of glowing darts at the Grick (casts Magic Missile as a 2nd level spell).

Syllen will move north of Theldrin and attack the Grick with his crossbow.

The Grick has an AC of 18 and is looking really bad now.
