Lias waited patiently for one of the healers to assist with her minor wounds. Once her wounds were tended , she sat down with her back to the wall, humming the start of a new song. She will sit here, working on her song and idly tapping her drum, until her comrades seem ready to go back into the night.
"Thank you, Escobert." Talien says with a bow. "I will head to the roof and assist the scouts. You will be among the first to know if I, or anyone else, spot any threat approaching. And if anything should happen here below, I will not be far, so do alert me if I am needed." With this, Talien heads to the roof of the main tower to join the other scouting party there. (OOC: I am assuming we're in the main tower now so I won't be too far from everyone if shit goes down)
Lias: The clerics are able to heal you 6 HP quickly and move to the next injured person.
Talien:
Up on the roof of the main tower you see various bands of raiders running in and out of homes, but it appears most of the townsfolk are safe for now. There are about 15 other archers on the roof with you, most of them keeping an eye out for the dragon. The dragon appears to be swinging further out, now, but is not leaving the battle. It swoops low at one point and clutches a windmill, looking at the ground just outside town.

Kyros sat quietly, reflecting on his encounter with the grim. It's piercing baleful gaze still hung behind his eyelids in silent and mocking judgement. It was a haunting testament to his own mortality, a glaring weakness within him. The rustle of bustling orderlies roused his attention back to the Keep around him. A low hum played beneath scurrying feet, the frightened whimpers of human whelps, and the hushed, trembling voices of adults trying to calm them. The humming was accompanied by a steady beat, and at the source, he found Lias, his half-Orc friend.
He looked for the others, but they escaped him in this crowd. Still, he rose and began threading his way across the cramped room. "Lias." He nodded as he approached and sat on the floor nearby, "You are a Bard by profession, yes? Do you know any songs that might help ease the minds and spirits of these folk? I know you must be as tired as myself, but if we could allay their fears for but a few moments on this dark night.. a lullaby for the younglings, perhaps?"

The sight of the healers as they made their way around the room bothered Archibald slightly. He never seemed to get used to the whiplash coming down from the high of battle to the grim reality. But there was no time for those morbid musings right now, and he decided it best to clear his mind by going for a walk. He strode along the westerly wall, keeping an eyes and ears open for anything suspicious

Up on the Western Wall you look into the streets and see mostly rabble kobolds and cultists running about haphazardly. The dragon has swung southwest and is perched on a windmill speaking with someone on the ground. The best you can make out from this distance is a humanoid figure dressed all in deep purples. The dragon appears agitated, but is still listening to the small figure. The rest of the town is relatively calmer than what you initially saw. The fires are dying down to embers and the townsfolk can be seen skittering about making their way closer to the keep; barely hiding much anymore.
Azrial:
The closest animals you can find after a short walk are a group of donkeys stabled just outside the main tower walls. They whinny at the sight of your albino form, but calm down once they recognize you. Not exactly puppies, but comforting nonetheless, and in turn they are comforted by your odd, but gentle, presence. You have advantage on your next roll to save against a fear effect.

Suddenly, the governor comes running in to the ward, glancing about and looking quite frantic. "Kyros! Kyros! Come quick, please!" he shouts into the room.
Talien and Archibald:
With great purpose the dragon lurches from his spot on the windmill and flies at full speed toward the keep. He circles once and roars, his bass snarl deafening even in the wide open night. (Please make wisdom saving throws). He circles the main tower parapet once and bellows something in draconic at Talien and the guards atop it, lunging in quickly and slashing at several of the guards on the western side with his tail. Archibald can see this happening, but is about 200' west and on a different tower. It would take you a minute or two to run across the parapets and up to the tower should you wish to join the archers now unslinging their bows and notching arrows...
Azrial:
Since you are outside consoling donkeys you are able to see a huge, winged shadow pass over the keep and hear a deafening roar. The donkeys buck and screech, terrified, and some try to chew at the ropes in order to escape. Glancing up you see the large, blue dragon now circling the main tower and bellowing, swinging his mighty tail and beating his wings in a fury.

Lias breaks her concentration on her song at the call for her friend. At the governor's tone, she stands and follows Kyros to discover what new wrinkle the night has developed.
Kyros takes the Javelins from Escobert, before addressing the Governor with feigned confidence, "Of course!! Lead the way, and I'll teach that scaly wurm the what true fear is!"
As Escobert and the Governor turn to head out of the Ward, Kyros looks over to Lias dropping his head and voice, along with the pretext, "Friend, I know it may be much to ask, but is there any chance you might have a tune to encourage me. My recent brush with death has left me... Well, it was a very sobering experience.. and while my fate and greatness both lie ever before me, against this Dragon I know I will need all the help I can get.. I had enough damn trouble against that Guard Drake. I hope the others will meet us out there."
(OOC : Lias, I am specifically requesting an Inspiration die from your Bardic ability.)
"Of course, my friend." Lias begins a low, rhythmic rumble, accompanied by several strikes on her drum and foot stomping. The sound is quiet, meant only for Kyros' ears, but deep and powerful nonetheless.

Seeing the dragon heave its way toward the tower on which he stood, Talien reeled as the beast let out a mighty roar. By Selune...it's coming this way...Talien only had a brief moment to think before the Dragon whipped its tail at the guards on the parapet they shared. "No! I must fight! I must fight for them!" Talien shouted to no one in particular as he drew his bow and fired at the monster.
Kyros listened as the Bard began a soft march, steady but powerful in every beat and his courage grew by leaps. It reminded him of his favorite tales as a whelp, of the strident hoof-beats and glorious heroes leading the triumphant charge! "Thank you," He began, "I fell mu-"
