I need to learn some good insults for Viscous Mockery. I'm too nice of a person to come up with anything good, especially for a doggo (even an angry, bitey one).
Decided to call him a Bad Dog. It was at least funny.
I mean, if we look at the initiative order, then the advantage can go only to Toadstool or Balen. I already know I hit. Balen couldn't hit the side of a barn from the inside.
Sounds good. In situations like this, I would like it very much if folks used the advantage prior to tossing the dice.
In other words, I don't want it to become the norm for us to roll the dice ... see the result ... and then decide if you want to roll the dice again.
Obviously, we are going to have situations where the dice get rolled after the fact (didn't realize there was advantage, or forgot, etc), so this is not an outright ban ... I don't mind if we do it once in a while, just not every time.
Oh dam, you're right. Anyway - my bonk will hit anyway and I ain't gonna go for 5% crit chance.
Nice bonk too, btw. Do remember that you also have bardic inspiration too. Nice to give extra damage or add to your to-hit roll. Might be able to knock out the DD soon =)

hghgh You're not wrong. Balen does got a Napoleon Complex, but he can't do squat.

Toadstool on the other hand had done another massive bonk with his staff. Simplicity is the answer
Cerberus from "Wish"
Concerning the advantage from the Help action, I figured it would go to the first attack on Doggo after my turn.
^^Agreed. If the player making the action doesn't specify, then it becomes sort of 'up for grabs.'

XD
Not so.
The help action provides a benefit until the start of the character's next turn.
If this current round ends without it being used, then on the next round the folks with an init count above Ichep could use it.

Ok. So you can't give advantage by positioning, but you can by taking the Help action. Good to know.

Point of clarification. The bardic inspiration die may be added to an ability check, attack roll, or saving throw.
(Not damage rolls, in other words)

There are four actions posted in Balen's last IC post (and maybe an illegal move ... but I could be misreading the post)
@SunDial365, Please clarify which action you would like Balen to take on his turn and where you would like the character to end his move.
Oops sorry. I want him to be on the dog and hanging off of it. If not, he could've just stabbed it I guess.

If you would like, Balen could attempt to grapple the opponent.
I think that's pretty funny XD Maybe it just fails (or works for like a short moment then fails) so it can stay as 'flavour' for the attack?
^^ This one. Whatever happens happens. Add in some flavor toss in that sriracha

Absolutely. Nothing with the fluff of the IC post needed to be adjusted I just wanted to clarify what game mechanics were going to accompany it.
Oops. Sorry. First time playing a bard, so still learning.
