While the group rests, Percival is deep in thought about his party , the statue he retrieved, and death. 

"I don't like these people at all. They're misfits and I would never associate with these people if it weren't for the fact that we all had the same dream. But I still don't want to see them die. They're not bad people, just lower class citizens that I'd ignore in any other situation. And quite frankly, the dwarf's fate was unpleasant enough and I'd rather not see that get repeated any time soon, even if it is likelier than not that we all die here.

And I regret taking the Lady's deal. Her money isn't worth the possibility of us getting killed in this horrible place. Sure, the others took the deal, but none of them are from nobility, risking their lives for coin probably isn't new to them. I should know better. But I made my mistake and now I have to hope that it doesn't get us all killed. How embarrassing would that be?"

Then he says, in a voice that's louder than he intended it to be, "God, I hope she likes this."

LADY CAPILLI INTERLUDE (OPTIONAL)

Keksi hopes she satisfied the lady... Second guessing herself, she says "If you have any more questions, ask and I will do my best to answer."

Percival was supposed to give an amusing commentary of the statue's flaws when he gives her the statue, or all of us die.

As he marches up to the lady, Percival puts on a more lighthearted and jovial expression than he usually has.

"As you see my lady, this is a statue of a woman with snakes coiling around her body, although from the way she is reacting to the snakes, I can't tell whether she is filled with terror or pleasure! Perhaps the statue is supposed to be a piece of erotica. I'm not judging, we all have our kinks, I'm certainly not going to pry into the artists personal enjoyment. But the statue is still finely crafted and I believe that someone with tastes as refined as yours should be able to appreciate this, regardless of the artists intentions."

Ok, here are the results:

KEKSI, Lady Capilli is MOST PLEASED with your commentary. She takes the statue, and with a simple glance and wave of her hand, your are infused with power - you gain one level. ALSO, you can pick one stat, and boost it by 1. Nice job!

If Percival wasn't in front of a bunch of people, he'd probably break down, since a powerful being decided to not only spare his life, but give him a great boon. "Thank you, my lady."

He also hopes that none of these people notice that he's sweating.

Goggick stays in the back, haven't found yet his object.

Percival sweats so badly, some of you guys think he just broke out in a hot fever. Even Lady Capilli does a double take with you, looking at the statue and back to you.

Keksi goes up to Percival and offers to cast lesser restoration for his fever.

Percival is flustered that his discomfort is more visible than he intended it to be.

"No no, I'm not sick at all. Thank you for your concern Keksi."

Astrid bounces up to Lady C, and pulls out the painting she stole, presenting it.

In her best art critic voice, she describes the painting to Lady C:

“I find this work menacing/playful because of the way the disjunctive perturbation of the negative space contextualize a participation in the critical dialogue.  Although I am not a painter, I think that the sublime beauty of the spatial relationships notates the larger iconicity.  With regard to the issue of content, the reductive quality brings within the real of discourse the inherent overspecificity with the figurative-narrative line-space matrix.”

Kyah repeats the lady's words in her voice as he hands down the statue, with "down an ironic comentary" written on it.

Kyah. The Lady is anxious to hear your presentation, but is clearly disappointed at the fact that you either didn't know what to say, or frankly, didn't want to bother. Truth be told, she was rather excited to hear what you would say, but since you have completely let her down, she strikes you with a bolt of lightning from her fingertips, and all that is left of you is ash. As per her promise, you have died. Thanks for playing =P

Before the group does anything, Percival will change Neon Umbra into his pact weapon, which manifests as a longsword. He's also completely ready to leave Lady Capilli and put this room behind him.
