I got no problem with posts taking long, is the nature of PbP but as I seen about 2 weeks thought you'd have quit it, personally on my campaign (the one i dm) I make my posts before going to work, I got no problem even if we have a post per 2 week schedule just would like a measure.
Gomphus and Yuwure seemed to be providing plenty enough distraction for Misery to slide in a cheap shot with her shortbow, targeting Slumpy the Crumpled Hobgoblin if he's still got breath in him (shooting preferably for the throat), his partner otherwise.
Shortbow: 9
Damage + Sneak Attack: 15
{Spoiler is OOC}
{Deksi isn't a part of the campaign group, so I think it's safe to say they left. And then there were 3. I'm perfectly happy with a slow-paced PBP adventure - sometimes I feel guilty if I haven't checked the boards in 2 or 3 days, so it's a bit of a relief if the action moves slowly sometimes}
The hobgoblin nearest to Gomphus, which had just been attacked thrice, stood it's ground while the other fled deeper into the fortress. The remaining hobgoblin used the dodge action.
{Whups, didn't check yesterday, but Misery should be after Yuwure and before the Hobgoblins in the initiative order, so I'm going to fire at the non-fleeing hobgoblin before he takes the dodge action}
A snap of the bowstring and another arrow flies. "Best pray it misses," Misery warned the hobgoblins, one of them near Gomphus gearing a defensive posture and the other turning to the door.
Shortbow: 18
Damage + Sneak Attack: 12
In the event that my delayed post in the initiative order caused the hobgoblin to truly precede Misery, the attack will look something more like this:
Az will take a look around to see if there is a way to get to the sleeping guards up top.
"I'm not sure if it's the best idea to leave potential enemies behind us. On the other-hand, that hobgoblin will notify others of our presence, so it might be better to move forward quickly, before they have enough time to setup a proper ambush. What say you two? Should we clear out the riff raff above, or barrel on ahead."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I'm not of a mind to worry about the sleeping sentries behind us, if our poor attempt at subterfuge failed to wake them. More likely than not their own boss will do worse to them than we would, if I know anything about goblin authority structures.
I should imagine we've long since lost the element of surprise, but if we're swift and careful we might overtake that one runaway before he's gathered too large a welcome party."
Misery's eyes are open for traps or locks in the hallway, including and especially the large door at the end.
again I ask is this campaign going?
(Eh, this is a bit difficult to maintain with my schedule. Unless you guys wanna keep going I think we should just stop)

This is my personal opinion tho
(This is my first Pbp, so I don't know what yall are expecting)
Gomphus 20
Yuwure 13
Misery 6
Hobgoblins 5
Az 1
Gomphus swung at one of the hobgoblins! 17
He hit!
2 Damage
Yuwure will cast Shillelagh (bonus action) on his staff and follow Gomhu's swing.
Hit: 24 Damage: 11
The swing crumpled the hobgoblin against the cave wall.
{This is an interesting campaign, and I'm all for continuing. I'm fine with whatever posting schedule works best with everyone.}

Edit: MAXIMUM DAMAGE! Too bad it's a miss.
Slumpy seemed a bit dead, so the shot went at another hobgoblin, but missed.
Gomphus yelled telepathically as he tried to stab at the hobgoblin's elbows.
9
He missed,
With an exasperated sigh while watching Gomphus attack, Az will heft up his shield and warhammer and attack the hobgoblin closest to Gomphus.
Attack: 9
Damage: 7
Yuwure keeps his staff bashing again at a hobgoblin
Hit 13 Damage: 8
(OOC if needed he uses the bonus action for the cantrip, but for my understanding he can do 10 attacks before it wears off)
The hobgoblin nearest to Gomphus, which had just been attacked thrice, stood it's ground while the other fled deeper into the fortress. The remaining hobgoblin used the dodge action.

In the event that my delayed post in the initiative order caused the hobgoblin to truly precede Misery, the attack will look something more like this:
Shortbow (Disadvantage): 14
Damage (sneak attack disqualified): 8
The hobgoblin collapsed, dead. Now two dead hobgoblins lied around you, the other had run off.
~Hah! You had better run!~ Gomphus chuckled telepathically, swinging his sword about dramatically. ~What now?~
I guess we do a perception roll 8, loot the corpses and go deeper into the dungeon if no traps are found "should we go guys?"
Az will take a look around to see if there is a way to get to the sleeping guards up top.

From each hobgoblin Plate mail, a longsword, and a longbow with 20 arrows are found.
I take 1 of the longbows and 20 arrows
The hallways are very quiet, but down at the end is a large door.
"I'm not of a mind to worry about the sleeping sentries behind us, if our poor attempt at subterfuge failed to wake them. More likely than not their own boss will do worse to them than we would, if I know anything about goblin authority structures.

Misery's eyes are open for traps or locks in the hallway, including and especially the large door at the end.
Perception/Investigation (same +4 modifier to either): 24
{Edit: Whoa! Another critical hit! I've never been so lucky in a campaign in my life}
