Tibold's magic absorbs most of the damage, but he holds a hand to his stomach all the same. "Ah, my pride and my gut!" he groans. "But you'll be worse off in just a minute," he promises, playing a discordant melody on his spectral keyboard. Monk #5 runs from the melody that Tibold has just played. At the same time, having knocked Cole to the ground last round, Monk #6 takes the opportunity to position himself between Tibold and Gotrek where he launches a flying split kick at both; he misjudges the distance to Tibold and misses completely. The other one at Gotrek is more successful inflicting 2 points of bludgeoning damage. Meanwhile Monk #5 runs back into the fray. Still obviously disturbed by Tibold’s discordant notes he only manages to land a single blow on Tibold for 7 points of bludgeoning damage. Thromkor then lifts his staff into the air and the orb begins to glow. He speaks soothing words in Draconic. Within the short phrase, his voice doubles and says both Gotrek and Cole's names at the same time. Both the barbarian and the monk feel the effects of his healing spell which heal them for 9 and 11 points respectively. Feeling much revived, Gotrek swings his Great-axe at the Monk in front of him, following up with a knee to the stomach. The blow with the Axe is not much more than a glancing blow doing only 11 points of slashing damage, however Gotrek manages to put almost all of his strength behind the knee into the Monk’s stomach and manages to inflict 10 points of piercing damage. Cole’s eyes flutter open and he does a kip up into a standing posting moving to flank behind Monk #4 (the Sumo wrestler) and lashes out with a karate chop to the back of its neck which with a sickening crack breaks the Monk’s neck and he collapses to the ground. Cole then turns to the Monk next to Monk #4 – Monk #6) and hits with a kick to the back of its left knee which does 8 points of bludgeoning damage. The Monk falls to one knee but quickly climbs back to its feet and prepares to attack Tibold.
Tibold grunts as the blow hits him in the stomach.
"In all seriousness, I could use some help here,"he calls to Thromkor as he watches his attacker carefully, looking for any sign of which way to dodge.

Thromkor acknowledges his traveling partner by placing one of his clawed hands on Tibold's shoulder and speaking a few words in Draconic. His hand glows briefly, healing the bard's wounds with the last of his magical reserves.
Once all of the monks have been dealt with, Gotreks turns to the door and closes it. He then looks around the room for something to bar the door with.
Once the door has been handled, he turns to the group, "I don't know about you huys, but I could do with a rest. I have barred the door and happy to take first watch."
Finally Gotrwk seeches the bodies for any useful items or loot.

Once the door has been handled, he turns to the group, "I don't know about you guys, but I could do with a rest. I have barred the door and happy to take first watch."
Finally Gotrek searches the bodies for any useful items or loot.
Tibold nods, half-way adopting a classic "thinker" pose, fist below chin. After a moment, he speaks.
"I agree, sir dwarf, but am not sure that this room will be suitable if there are, indeed, more living beings in this monastery. The room we were in before with the...interesting...scrolls also contained a large deal of furniture. That may be better for forming a barricade of sorts. What say you all?" he asks the others.
Thromkor gives as close to a tight-lipped smile as a dragonborn can to Tibold and then silently agrees with the idea of moving back to the other room to rest.
"It's settled, then," he remarks, yawning as he leads the way to the scrollroom. Once inside that room, Tibold leads the effort to move shelves, chairs and desks against both closed doors so that, ideally, anyone trying to get in will have (at least) a very a hard time and make a lot of noise.
After that's taken care of, Tibold offers to take second watch, after Gotrek. He unpacks his bedroll in a corner of the room and lies down.
The Fight in the South Dormitory (Round 6) and Next steps
Tibold grunts as the blow hits him in the stomach. "In all seriousness, I could use some help here," he calls to Thromkor as he watches his attacker carefully, looking for any sign of which way to dodge.
Seeing that Tibold has adopted a stance where he can more easily dodge any incoming blow, Monk #6 switches his attack to Gotrek (OOC: not really it was random but the way I wrote it sounds better) where he manages to kick him in the upper thigh for 3 points of actual bludgeoning damage; any closer to Gotrek’s groin and it would have brought tears to Gotrek’s eyes.
Meanwhile Monk #5 launches a flurry of bows at Cole with not noticeable effect.
Thromkor acknowledges his traveling partner by placing one of his clawed hands on Tibold's shoulder and speaking a few words in Draconic. His hand glows briefly, healing the bard's wounds with the last of his magical reserves.
Gotrek turns towards the nearest monk, shoulder charging the monk and following up with a swing with his Great-axe. The swing with his Great Axe into the Monk’s head releases some of the pain caused by Tibold’s Discordant Whispers last round; it also kills him. Cole continues to fight with Monk #5 and eventually has the honours dropping him to the ground with a successful palm strike.
With the fall of the last monk, the battle in the dormitory is over and it is now about 11.30 pm. The party has a quick consultation and decides that they should move to the Scriptorium and barricade the doors. By the time that the party moves to the Scriptorium and moves furniture around so as to barricade both doors, it is about 12.30 pm.
Gotrek then takes the first watch and after two and a half hours at 3.00 am gently wakes Tibold for his watch.
Everybody you can now record a short rest and take any actions you deem necessary
Tibold then takes the next watch and at 5.30 am wakes Cole for his watch.
Tibold as you hand over to Cole, you notice that the sun is now streaming in through the widows in the southern wall. You also hear somebody trying to the handle on the western most door and then try to open it. Because you have barricaded it with one of the bookshelves, whomever or whatever is on the other side is unable to open the door.
Can Tibold and Cole make another perception check?
Can everybody please have a look at the map and tell me exactly where they are?
