1) Cole manages to dodge much of the flames but still takes 12 points of damage.
2) As he stands there pondering his next action a cooling sensation (Trhomkor's Cure Wounds) takes all the sting out his wounds as he is healed back to full.

Tibold reaches out a hand and taps Gotrek on the shoulder, healing him for 8 (Cure Wounds)

"These hounds may be hellish, but give them hell anyways," he tells Gotrek, granting him one Bardic Inspiration die (a d8).

Gotrek charges the puppy in O6. Using the momentum of his run to power the wild swing of Axe.

Axe Attack: 15 Damage: 23

He then tucks his shoulder and with his momentum crashes into the dog.

Spiked Attack: 22 Damage: 11

The puppies respond!
1) As Gotrek closes on the Hellhound it opens its mouth (3) but no more than a dribble of flame emerges. slips from its mouth. The Hellhound then attempts to bite (Attack: 23 Damage: 10 plus 10 additional fire damage).
2) Gotrek is close enough to see that emblazoned on the Hellhound's collar is the same dish shape they had been told was on the Merchant's equipment.
3) Meanwhile Grin shifts to his more bestial form and moves to M4 where he looses an arrow at the Hellhound in O6  (Attack: 15 Damage: 8 plus 5 sneak attack damage) which is sufficient (just) to kill the Hellhound.

Cole slaps the Puppy - what does it do?
1) Tymora was not with Cole today because despite calling on his innate luck he still missing.
2) Grumpy at being slapped across the muzzle, the Helhhound opens his mouth (2) and no more than a dribble of flame escapes.
3) The Hellhound then decides to bite at Cole (Attack: 18 Damage: 4 plus 12 of additional fire damage.)
4) Thromkor you're up!

Thromkor watches as Cole once again comes under the assault of the hellhound. Scowling, the dragonborn holds up his staff and speaks a few words in Draconic. His hand glows briefly, the orb at the top of his staff flashes, and a mote of energy sores at Cole, healing his wounds.

Tibold raises his hand as if to conjure his spectral keyboard, but instead of the instrument, a small ethereal dog whistle appears in the half-elf's hand. He puts it to his lips and blows, glaring at the nearest hellhound.

A dog whistle is blown - not that any of the party can hear it
1) Tibold blows the dog whistle and (20) but the Hell Hound (for that it what they are) whilst it has the same level of hearing as a normal canine simply ignores it and continues to lunge at Cole.
2) Gotrek you're up.

Gotrek turns and looks for another target and spots the Hellhound and Thromkor attacking and healing respectively. "Trust a halfling to hog all the healing. Guess I better help out then."

From a standing Gotrek leaps into a Sprint at the remaining Hellhound, Great-axe held menacingly. Using the momentum of the run, he makes a wild swing at the Hellhound with his Axe.

Axe Attack: 18 Damage: 26

Tucking in his shoulder after the swing, he continues his movement in the same direction as he crashes his shoulder into the Hellhound.

Spiked Attack: 13 Damage: 7

Grin seeing Gotrek move into his line of fire yells out "get outa the way you great meathead!" as he looses a shot at the Hellhound (Attack: 7 Damage: 8 plus 8 sneak attack damage) but obviously distracted by Gotrek's movement shoots wildly and the arrows sails off into the storm. 

Cole you're up!

Cole yelps at the sting of fire from the hellhounds bite and goes for another 1/2 punch to down the beast.

The Hellhound moves to J8 opens his mouth and (2) and again no  more than a dribble of flame escapes so he chomps down on Cole yet again (Attack: 11 Damage: 10 plus 5 additional fire damage for no impact.

Thromkor you're up

Thromkor raises a clawed hand at the hell hound and speaks a few words in Draconic. Numbing frost forms on its hide.

Frostbite: needs 14 CON save or it suffers 3 cold damage and has disadvantage on its next attack roll

Do Hellhounds like the Cold? Cold what Cold!

DC 14 - Con required and 21 rolled. The internal heat of the Hellhound is so great that Thromkor's Frostbite has no effect.

Tibold frowns and tries again, blowing on the spectral whistle one last time before it vanishes.

The Hellhound looks up as if it heard some sort of whistle (DC 15 Wis save required - (4) and then starts banging its head against a rock as if it hurts. The damage from the rock (it had 2 HP left) is sufficient to kill it.

"That whistle of yours must have given that dog one hell of a headache...." Grin will say as he slings his longbow over his shoulder, a large smile spread across his face.
