Adric slams into the creature, sending bits of vine sailing through the air with a splash! Likewise, Creak dashes in and gives a nasty slash to the creature as Gralwynn gives Balmaris a tiny bit of healing magic. Revitalized by the magics, Balmaris launches another flurry of attacks against the giant plant on the ground. A crystal clear bell sound rings out and the creature attempts to resist the sound (DC13 WIS save: 2) However, it cannot resist and you see its tentacles make a small motion towards its "head".
(OOC: Rynna, for spells with saving throws, if you could just put in parentheses at the end what the save is and damage like this: (DC13 WIS save or take 5 necrotic damage) it'll work for me. :) )
Unable to maintain its footing, it splashes back into the water once more!
(OOC: I made a decision to have the D/A on Balmaris since he was so close to being dead last time, I would think you may try protecting him a little more this time around, *shrugs*
It didn't like me adding the 1d20 before the dex save, heh.)
Seeing the creature fall once more, Creak leaps upon it once more, changing angle each time! He’s like a little whirling dervish! Attack: 14 Damage: 7 piercing + 5 sneak damage. Bless has been included. Creak disengages back.

PCs are up!
( OoC: No, that's fine, I'll add "critical health" to the order. Don't forget, we gotta knock it out, then move it to the altar for the sacrifice.)
Adric and Creak land powerful strikes against the creature as Balmaris carefully backs away from the prone creature. It grips its head as the bell sound rings through the chamber over the chanting. As Gralwynn steps forward, claws extending and slashing at the plant matter, it seems to deflate on itself, though a small rise and fall can still be seen.
Combat over, the plant creature is unconscious, good job!
(OOC: Creak, I don't see that you added your modifier or bless to your roll, just the 1d20 at advantage. Adding anything would have resulted in a hit, so you hit!)
Creak dusts himself off after that debacle and shrugs. He raises two daggers and starts raising them up and down in a beat, “Sacrifice! Ooaha! Sacrifice! Ooaha! Sacrifice! Ooaha!” He then laughs.

"Let's hope the plant is good enough" Gralwynn says grimly.
She moves over to grab at what she can only assume is this thing's equivalent of an "arm" and starts to pull.
Strength: 14
"Don't suppose someone wants to help?" she wheezes, clearly incapable of tackling this problem on her own.
(OoC: remind my stupid self to fill ALL my memorized spells the next rest I take a rest. When I was futzing about, I realized I didn't fill up all my prepared spells slots. Some of those I have would have been really handy.)
After about twenty minutes of effort, your group manages to drag the exceedingly heavy and damp pile of formerly angry plant refuse through the water and up onto the dais. With no small amount of strength, the mass is flopped onto the altar.

The creature flails wildly after struggling to its feet, sending one strike each after Adric and Balmaris.
Adric: 9 for 13 bludgeoning damage.
Balmaris: 20 for 13 bludgeoning damage.
Disadvantaged roll on Balmaris: 8
Dex save for ending in grease: 17.

Put out that her spell had done so little the last time, Rynna decided to give it another try, pointing viciously at the plant creature.

Hoping to take this thing down a little quicker, Gralwynn rushes next to Aldric and casts Primal Savagery
Attack: 21 Damage: 6 acid damage!
Trying to take it down non-lethaly (whatever that means for this mass of vines) she aims for a "leg" on the creature.
(OoC: sorry guys, idk who I was waiting on there, miscounted the number of actions taken."
(Waiting to see what Balmaris does)
Balmaris will disengage and move back from the beast before he dies......again
