Lev blinks, frowning as he comes to... when did he sit down? He glances at Iiolinder, clearly still a little out of it at the moment. Soldier? His mind flashes to days that felt like they transpired so long ago. He shakes his head, putting a hand to his eyes as before attempting to stand up, "What... happened?"Some sort of drug? How could he let himself succumb to something so easily? It doesn't take him long to see that most everyone is already up and moving... was he the only one affected? ... no, Vydar's eyes are bloodshot.
He grits his teeth, cold anger showing in his eyes for a brief moment as clarity suddenly reaches him. Glancing at Iiolinder, it dawns on him that he's never really been in this position before. He's used to looking out for others, but not having others look out for him too.
It takes about four of you to move the heavy furniture, unless Zarbyn helps (with his gauntlets of strength!!!)
Behind the cabinet is another opening that was purposely covered with this piece of furniture. It is rough cut, probably someone broke through the wall to get into the inner chamber of this section of the palace.
However, written in common over the rough entrance is this warning.
Turn back, for this place is cursed
There is a long wide corridor heading south for 40 feet. Immediately to your left is a section of caved in rocks, likely the previous way in. On the wall across from the entrance is a single cult of the dragon king symbol. The cooridor turns left and looks to continue. The walls and ceiling are decorated with colorful tiles and intricate carvings, although it looks very old and has faded with time. There are no footprints here. Nothing has been here for quite some time. In addition, it is very cold in this area, significantly colder than the prior rooms. The air is stale and musty.
(See owlbear if you like)
However, the most striking thing about the long corridor is the floor. It is covered in large diagonal crimson red tiles. There is no child ghost walking. There is no humming. The only sound you hear is the sound of your breath as it releases mist of vapor into the cold air that surrounds you.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zarbyn currently has the gauntlets which give a +2 to STR and if it goes over 18 they can't be removed. The +2 can only increase STR to 20. Also, if your STR is 18 or higher you are cursed with weakness.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
The unveiled passage is even less inviting than what she'd seen in the mirror, Lira realizes. Her senses go into high alert as she peers down it, examining what she can see--particularly the stark red tiles--for any noticeable traps or mechanisms.
Lira sees no traps within the next 30 feet. No footprints. No one has passed through this area for quite some time. She does note the symbol of the cult of the dragon king. They have been here, and likely made the hole in the wall to enter these chambers. Likely, you are on the right track to find the third cache artifact, Bone, if indeed Storm was correct and it is hidden here.
(OOC: Group missed the skeleton in the tub in the last room)
'Bit late for that.' He said with all the enthusiasm of watching paint dry. He stepped through the newly made opening into the corridor beyond. The sudden shift from warm bathroom to cold corridor shook him awake enough to be on guard for anything, natural or supernatural, to happen. He grabbed three stones, each roughly the size of a fist, and threw them down the corridor: one near him, one about halfway down the corridor and the last one as far to the end of the corridor as he could throw.
He also kept an eye on the dragon cult symbol just in case.
Amdaeng finds a necklace on the poor soul who fell asleep in this accursed place and likely stopped breathing due to the toxins, slowly making the subject so relaxed they stop breathing.
Iólinder throws the three stones (plenty of them near him). Each lands with a thump on the hard tile floor. Surprisingly, no traps seem to be in this area. Thinking about the warning, perhaps the cult did not want to spend time making and arming traps in this location, but he was also wise to never assume anything with the cultists.
Ning, although larger than Zazi, is barely awake. The powerful drug affects the bear greatly. She looks at you and puts her head down asleep again
Amdaeng runs to the end of the hall which turns left 90 degrees. An identical hallway with crimson-red tiles continues as far as she can see. However, she believes there is a door 60 feet ahead on the right.
Amdaeng
As she runs down the hall and stops, Amdaeng recalls this detail........."It is said that the floor tiles were stained red as a river of blood flowed out of the room."
As she moves forward she does see the door to the right. It is a plain unremarkable door and unlike the other doors in this palace, it is rectangular. All the other doors have a decorative pattern and archway.
As she approaches the door, the hallway continues another 30 feet and ends in a wall. However, on the left is a very large archway (A sort of grand entrance) with two double doors the ancient hieroglyphics that Vydar was able to read earlier surround it.
Fortunately, no traps are sprung as she carefully walks down the hallway. Putting her ear to the strange rectangular door, she does not hear any noise. She also does not hear any noises coming from up ahead. All is deathly quiet.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zarbyn and Twiggy will move quietly and try to stay to the shadows as they move up to join Iolinder and Lira.
Zarbyn Stealth: 16
Twiggy Stealth: 18
"Perhaps we should spread out a little? But still stay close if you know what I mean?" he whispers.

Zarbyn is very quiet and stealthy. The passage is silent. Amdaeng makes no noticeable noise as she moves toward the door. Twiggy is also very silent, although Zarbyn can tell she still suffers from inhaling the powerful opioids.
(I'll eventually need you all back on owlbear rodeo to move your tokens if you are able.)
Vydar attempts to be stealthy, but ultimately gets frustrated at being stuck in the back. Pushing his way past the rest of the party, he hurries after Amdaeng. "You know I can tell when there's traps right? Let me ahead of you all!" He grumples, still a bit disoriented from the drug.
Stealth: 7 :'D
Once up by Amdaeng he glances at the rectangular door then looks at the archway.
(Are the glyphs the same as the last door? Or do these say something else?)
Vydar's amulet on his hat remains cool to the touch as he walks the hallway with crimson red tiles. Catching up to Amdaeng, he also notes that the door on the right seems strangely out of place. It is a plain rectangular door. All the other doorways have had intricately carved entranceways with large arches and proclamations by the Sultan. Which brings him to the next doorway, which is huge. A set of double doors stands 20 feet tall. A large decorative archway surrounds it. Taking a careful look, he sees the symbol for the cult of the dragon king painted near the doors handles.
Above the doorway, he reads the ancient language:
Here, time bends to my will, and destiny is shaped by my hand. Step within, but know that your fate is already sealed by the greatness of Sultan Akharis

Amdaeng, being on the lookout for necklaces, goes to check the body in the tub....

Amdaeng holds up the necklace, " One to go or two? I lost count...."
She moved across to where Iólinder was skipping stones, " If you hold Ning I can run across really fast and see what happens......"
'Sure.' Iólinder replied and held onto Ning before he could realise he was holding an apex predator. A miniature sized one but still.
Just imagine Iólinder holding Ning like a kid holding a teddy bear.
