Remis chucks this bolt of lightning at Bandit1, and he looks down to see a hole going right through his chest. He looks back at Remis for a brief moment, not sure what to do, and falls forward. Dead.
Seeing this, the gangs leader two fingers to his lips and gives a shrieking whistle. At the sound, Three more figures come out of a kitchen area two the left of the door. Two men in uniforms, clearly working for the local lord, based on the red and black colour scheme. The other is a woman in a black robe, hood down. There is a short lull as the newcomers assess the situation, and you check them out. Then the priestlike on raises a hand, says something in a foreign language, and throws a fire bolt at Armeros. 21 to hit, 6 fire damage. -the newcomers will not join the initiative until the next round.- At the same time as the priestess attacks Armeros, Bandit3 pulls the trigger on his crossbow, switching his aim to Taxidea at the last moment. 13 to hit, 5 piercing damage. With a subtle motion, Armeros points at the mage, his eyes glowing with an intense, malevolent light. The power of his bloodline surges through him, and in the blink of an eye, flames erupt around the mage’s feet.

My thinking being the show of strength already displayed by my party mates and the first attack being a bolt of lightening to the leader may spare the shedding of additional blood and the remaining bandits turning to flee...then Remis could get back to his meal))

Okay. Backtracking a little. I have been informed that Remis was targeting B4. (which was supposed to be BC, my bad.) It wouldn't hit him, but as my penalty for messing up I'll say it did. I'll reset the battlemap, but keep the new enemies there, though they won't join the initiative order until after the first round. Below I'll take B3s turn, and then we can go from there. I'll let Taxidea redo his turn, (or if you want to do the same thing still, you can use the previous rolls.) since this will change where people are on the map. So. Remis hit BC/B4 with guiding bolt, dealing 16 damage. Then B3 fires at Taxidea with his crossbow, 20 to hit, 6 damage. Taxidea can now go. If anyone took damage from before, undo that, in light of these changes.
BATTLEMAP Sorry about all this. I guess I really just wasn't paying close enough attention. Hopefully it won't happen again.
Also, if you know how to get to it, I'll try to have the map running whenever I can, so that y'all can get a better look. {[Small thing, but could you provide a tooltip for spells?]} color spray After being blasted by a burst of colour, Bandits 1 and 3 are knocked back, banging into the wall behind them and falling to the ground dead. Seeing his men falling, the captain chucks two dagger at Taxidea in quick succession before running out of the building. His last gang member stays. Dagger 1: 18 to hit, 1 piercing damage. Dagger 2: 25 to hit, 1 piercing damage. Half a second after he leaves, the priest figure and her guards come out of the kitchen area. Outside, you hear yelling and fighting before 3 more guards enter the building, weapons drawn. However they do not attack. The priestess steps forward now, addressing everyone in the room. "Surrender and nothing bad will happen to you. We have this building surrounded with more men than you imagine. We are taking over this establishment. Drop your weapons and get on the ground, hands on your back. Otherwise we will have no choice but to kill you." It is Flynts turn, or obviously you can roleplay instead. "And you should know. I am not messing around when I say we will kill you." With that two of the guards at the door grab the remaining thug, while the other swiftly beheads him before he has a chance to say or do anything.
A faint smile tugged at the corner of Armeros’ mouth as he raised his glass of wine to his lips, draining the last of it. His golden eyes, glinting with an amused spark, surveyed the room. His tail flicked lazily behind him, betraying the only sign of any energy stirring within him. He remained perfectly still otherwise, content to let the others react first, as if none of this was of particular concern to him.
"We seem to have found ourselves in quite the predicament," he murmured, his voice low, but just loud enough to be heard by those near him. His gaze shifted briefly to the priestess, noting her posture, her command of the situation. "Though we wonder... does she truly have the forces to back such bold words?"
Jasmine notes the attire of the Priestess and her guards, as well as the brutality with which they dispatched the last bandit. She slowy stands, holding a hand out to show that she is not holding her war hammer in it (Still sheathed). She speaks, addressing the priest. "I am sure there issssss some misunderstanding. We are not part of the bandits that raided thisss place. We are simple tavern patrons. We were just defending ourselvessss from the bandits who were trying to rob usss." She gestures to dead bandits at the Priestess's feet who were taken out by Taxidea's spell as proof. "Surely you do not mean to detain or harm sssimple tavern patrons for defending themselves."
Taxidea gives a pained grunt, tosses the crossbow bolt behind him, takes the daggers that just hit him and jams them firmly into the tabletop. He then uses whatever cloth might be nearby to bandage his wounds.
"Lady, you can have this establishment, and you can try to kill me. But I'm not dying on an empty stomach so you're just gonna have to wait," He says, resuming eating.

"Did I say you were with those dogs? I said I'm taking over this establishment. You are currently inside this establishment. Therefore you are now mine. Surrender now. Or you WILL die." The way she says this really shows of her way of talking. She has no commas, only periods. Hearing this, the three guards at the door move forward. G3 pulls out a piece of thin chain and moves toward Taxidea, while G4 moves between Taxidea and Xondario and Flynt, threatening them not to move with his spear. G5 moves next to Jason. G1 moves a little bit closer to Armeros and Remis, and G2 moves next to Jasmine.
G3 roughly grabs Taxidea by the arms. DC 13 strength saving throw to break free.
Something everyone knows, the area is owned by Sir. Forsch Hultonbrock, but he leaves an older veteran in charge. No one knows anything about in the past, regarding the soldiers making seemingly random attacks in the towns.
Armeros can read this.
Armeros remembers hearing something about Forsch coming back to the area, and some 'unexpected' behaviour has been coming from his manor. Going off of these 'rumors', you wouldn't be surprised if this was more than some defective troops making a random attack, or something like that.
"We believe there’s been a rather unfortunate misunderstanding," Armeros began, his golden eyes locking onto the priestess with a polite, almost apologetic smile. "You see, we are a guest of Sir Forsch Hultonbrock, the esteemed lord of these lands, recently returned. Our presence here is strictly as part of a diplomatic visit—nothing more, nothing less."
He gave a slight bow of the head, just enough to show courtesy without conceding any power. His posture remained impeccable, projecting both authority and innocence. "We are certain your lord is familiar with the arrangements we’ve made, and we assure you that any hostility towards us would be... ill-advised, given the nature of our connections."
