"If we're talking about direct weaknesses, that would be sunlight, running water, wooden piercing weapons while out cold in the coffin, and needing invitations to enter places. Radiance in general, including holy water, has a different effect."
Strahd smiles more gently than before. "Sometimes, but not now. I just like making things interesting. Life in Barovia is very monotonous. Adventurers help shake things up." He's being genuine.

Zan finishes his salad, very refreshing, thank you. All that makes you, he motions toward the other vampires, and them very resilient. Surely there has to be an one thing that's a dagger to the heart type of weakness? What about soldered weapons and the like? Enchanted weapons maybe? Or what about the big bad vampires mental weaknesses? he sets back in his chair, so, tell me about your mother?
Kessintra is unnerved by Strahd's sincerity. He just tells adventurers how to destroy him so that they will try and...he can have some fun killing them? Not to mention their souls are then trapped forever somehow.
"Alright...How about breaking the curse then? The vistani who brought us here said there's a way to. Maybe Tatyana just doesn't...recognize you as a vampire." She speaks slowly, trying to make the suggestion sound as favorable as possible. "We can even help, since we're here. How about you tell us how to do that?"
"I'm afraid you and the vistani are mistaken, then. My pact can't be revoked. It's forged in blood." He turns to Zan. "My mother, however, was a wonderful person. I invited her here after the castle was built. She unfortunately died in transport."

"So it's a pact..." Kessintra murmurs, deep in thought as she tries to remember anything about those. Her house did have dealings with devils, though she'd never made a contract herself.
No, your carrying capacity is 130lb and you're carrying 35lb. The average for woman is around 170lb. Even though Ireena is on the slender side, she's not 95lb. You could grapple and drag, but that will be at half speed. In addition, she could just run herself.

With thoughts of the consorts' jealousy, even if they may be bound to Strahd's will, Chipper turns to Esther first, "So if souls can't leave, what pray tell have you done in former lives?" he eats some of the salad and continues, "Is this the first time you've been reunited with... Tatyana?"
Esther is surprised that you'd inquire about him, but nevertheless replies, "I was a bard in an adventuring party, trying to kill Strahd after being trapped here. I wish you more luck than my group had. As for Tatyana, I haven't seen anything more than portraits until now. Then again, I am the youngest consort. Ludmilla and Anastrasya have been around much longer than I have. Perhaps they could recount a story of Tatyana's stay here."
Kessintra turns her attention to the consorts as well, following Chipper's lead. Information gathering...Yes, there's no rush. She tries to ignore her urgency in wanting Ireena freed for now. Red--Anastrasya--seems the most upset of the bunch, while Ludmilla is oddly calm.
"Alright. Anastrasya, would you care to tell us about your experience with Tatyana? We are here to celebrate her return, after all. It might even help Ireena remember faster." Her emotional state might make her reveal too much, Kess hopes.

"Me?" She questions with feigned interest. "I've seen her once before in the flesh. She was in a lot of pain. As the master said, it takes a lot of adjustment to live here. I guess she just wasn't strong enough for it. In fact, she was in so much unbearable pain that she went up to the high tower an-" "SILENCE!" Strahd pounds on the table as he stands. "I nor Tatyana will be made a mockery of! Am I clear?" Anastrasya seems irritated, but also oddly collected. It's as if she was anticipating this. "Yes, sir." Strahd collects himself as he sits back down. "Apologies."

Zan smirks, oh that's rich! First the very own mother of the great and powerful Strahd, he sarcastically rolls the name off his tongue, can't stand to see what her dear son had become that she mysteriously dies on her way to see him and his glorious new home. Then, the love of his life, perhaps the last remaining strain of his humanity, his beloved Tatyana can't imagine herself living or loving for that matter, the monster that you've become, and throws herself off your highest tower. Poor poor Strahd, no body wuvs him?
Kessintra tenses at the story as well as Zan's taunting of Strahd. The Tatyana reincarnations have a history of...choosing death themselves? That would explain why he hasn't managed to keep a single one around. Ireena...They won't let it come to that.
"T-then, perhaps it would be better if Ireena doesn't move into the castle until she remembers? If it takes such a toll. Strahd, you seemed to have no trouble finding her outside and we can...I won't take my eyes off her again, I swear it." 'It's your fault.' 'You looked away.' 'You didn't save her.' 'Your fault, always.' The spirits hiss in her ears as they sense her weakness.
"Look, Kess, you're a very persuasive person. But impossibility is impossibility. They don't remember. It wouldn't matter if they did. If circumstances become dire, I will happily entrust you with her."

They never remember...? Then they might as well be different people--no, they are completely different people. Strahd tries to force them to be the same as the original Tatyana, and they break down as a result.
"I see...Thank you." She states, trying to maintain her composure. "I must admit, I'm curious. How did you and Tatyana first meet?"
