Its almost 1 am, and I just finished settling into some temporary housing. I've got a lot going on this week, so my posting will likely be infrequent. I may need a couple of days to update combat. I apologize for the delay.
Nare's juggling thought and speech on the other hand...I count on being cute and nodding saves me... ;)
As for knowing stat block on " lesser" monsters speed up the posting as we better can write down the result of our actions towards them.
((Oh!! sorry!! I can make the difference between thought and speech by color if you want! i put thought originally in italics but i also kind of did it for speech too for emphasis. i could put thoughts in blue and speech in red if that would help! ))

DM: Drakkenheim Mind and Matter + Blood Secrets + What's in the Here and Now;
Nare used a twinned spell, and took Cultist Green out with it as well. So, currently, your nearest enemy is Cultist Black. Your map shoud've looked like this:
Do you wish to charge down the hall and attack Cultist Black the same way, or change up your strategy?
For your trouble, I'll let you re-roll that shield attack... not that you'll need it. You'll annihiliate a mere Cultist with 13 damage. Just trying to figure out if you wish to charge into the room, or perform a ranged attack or something.
Ororana is mid-turn, checking in with Merkas before she acts, because she's not exactly an authority on magic items. Since talking is a free action, I'm assuming a short sentence reply will fit within her turn.
I'm giving Lars a chance to retcon Sera's attack, since it was based on misinformation. After her, it's Cultist Black's turn. Then the round begins anew, with most of the lower-level mooks cleared away.
Map not loading again...she not gobto the room and provide a nice target for a bunch of spells. She hit cultist black and the withdraw back. Letting Nare use some tricks first.
Oh. Forgot that Hastos had moved next to the enemy, Merkas is a rogue so he has sneak attack. 5 damage on top of the other rolls.
Hoping that a hurricane of silver coins will help us get rid of this guy quickly, also maybe he’ll get interested in chasing down the scattered coins instead of killing us!

If the image isn't loading, is the link at least working? If you click on the phrase "Map and Link" it should open an image of the map.
I was so conflicted about using it.As a DM, I'm generally opposed to using anything that takes away player agency, and compulsion spells do that. I mulled it over... several times, and really am rooting for you, but ultimately decided that this is exactly what she'd do.
The cult leader isn't stupid. She knows you've created a tunnel of death, and one-on-one you're obviously more powerful than her acolytes. And, to be fair, she genuinely believes that having you on her side would be better than having you as an enemy. Senseless slaughter isn't her goal. Merciless vengeance against the Dragon Army is. Someone like you, in her eyes, could be a powerful ally, perhaps even a general in her ranks. She doesn't know you worship Paladine yet. She doesn't even know you're a cleric. I think I accidentally meta-gamed that into context once, but because you are down the hall, she can't see your holy symbol of Paladine, and has yet to see Sera do anything that a Fighter couldn't do. That could cause problems, but isn't necessarily a deal-breaker for her. Lots of people worship Paladine before they are consumed by religious zeal or a thirst for vengeance.
Which leads her to only one clear resolution: she needs to bring you into a position where conditions are favorable to her and her minions and try to broker a deal; failing that, she needs to flee without you making further chase. Running from one intruder and a rabbit would be disgraceful, so she has to at least try.
Due to Sera's religious convictions, I will grant multiple chances for re-rolls. Paladine literally blessed this mission, so you're not alone (you still have Heroic Inspiration). Though Paladine's influence on Krynn is severely weakened, he's still going to help in the small ways he can. Some of that will come in the form of re-rolls, possibly even with Advantage depending on the request or demand the cult leader makes. But Paladine is not strong enough to actually save you. Not with the limited access to Krynn he currently has. You (or your party members) are going to have to carry the bulk of the load.
I'm going to see what SunDial365 does first. If you both fail the save, then I'll take the encounter out of initiative. SunDial365, if you pass Ne-haredowell's save, we're still in initiative order, but you may use a free action and Reactions to attempt to stop Sera from walking into that room.
** And, as a side note (not a suggestion, just a rabbit trail of thought), seeing Sera become polytheistic would be an interesting arc. Especially with devotion to such diametrically opposed gods. I see real-world examples of this right here in Texas. Not to get too political (due to forum restrictions), but I have spoken with church-going devotees who love their god, and flatly stated that our president is the anti-Christ, but voted for him anyway and continue to support him while holding those beliefs. Seeing Sera develop such a duality of morays, and the internal struggle within her would make her even scarier than she already sometimes is. 😅 Justice and vengeance have a lot in common: opposite sides of the same coin. Both motivations seek to balance an equation. But justice comes with mercy, and vengeance does not. It's the most fundamental difference between the two approaches, and it's a big enough deal to divide the concepts. The Dragon Armies have taken much from Sera... and Hastos. It's not a stretch to think either one of you would contain some latent urges to avenge the wrongs commited against those two. And both your characters are certainly strong enough to act on those impulses.
Hrothbert_Neruca since you're less than 10 feet from the wall, you'll only take 1 HP of damage. Bruising, but not battering.
If MrUncleTio fails the save, it'll be 1d6 Bludgeoning damage to Hastos, and he will be shunted to a nearby square as he bounces of Merkas. I'm thinking the one just north of Merkas.
I choose face a high level cleric. I had my choice. Falling victim to mental spells is just fine. More interesging than just die in a flame strike actualky...:D
As for Sera getting a nasty Sargonnas vengeance attitude...well try corrupt her. ;)
Your spelling us just fine...

Sorry, is it Ororanas or Hastos’ turn next?
Character: Hastos, Ibahalii Vriwhulth, the Reaper of Glory v2: IC Thread
It’s Ororana I think, if not it’s the enemies, either way it’s our DM’s but they warned us already that weekends are tougher for them to post.
So Anyway, how’s everyone doing?
