Yeah sorry I didn’t respond earlier. I wasn’t sure either! I thought I already did my action which was Cast False Life and Rabbit Hop?
I thought it was Surprise Round (Merkas and Hastos) then regular round where the cultists attacked then Merkas, Hastos, and Nare go (which is where Nare casted False Life).
I think it was just slightly out of order due to how Hastos only did a Perception Check but not an action in the post before mine?
I think that it would be Sera’s turn now too!
Also I’m not sure if anyone was up for it but perhaps we could make a deal with the cultists. I was thinking that maybe we could try to persuade them to stop fighting us (“you’re doing the Dragon Army work for them”) aka killing each other.
I wonder maybe if they want to be seen as saviors that way we persuade them to turn the water on and we will say that they found a way through their god or whatever. But they must stop practicing their religion underground (we will ensure no persecution) but they cannot continue with the sacrifices of the Dragon Army bodies unless the people of Sanketh (not the council) say it’s okay.
this is kinda a long shot for that but it is a plan I guess.

I think the turns are a little mixed up due to the surprise round and the order getting shuffled a bit. Pretty sure it’ll be smoother moving forward. Vengeance holds a grudge I would guess, there’s also the fact that we might be able to turn that vengeance against itself…

Ohhhh! I thought that was some stuff you threw in with your Grave ability. It was more than you were allowed, but I went with it. Technically, that would be a turn's amount of moves and actions, yeah. But I messed up the turn order. Hastos wants to bolt, and it's possible that, had Nare known that, they might've hopped in a different direction. Do you wish to change your move, or keep it the same.
I've been sick since this weekend. I slept for 26 hours, and still am low-energy. 😅 I guess that's part of why my brain hasn't been as sharp. So, a lot of stuff I'd normally notice is slipping past me.
SunDial365 if you like your move and action, I will continue the initiative, which means it will be my turn (Sargonnas Recruiter Black, then Cult Fanatic Pink). I'll check later today to see if you respond... health permitting. I've been fighting dizzy spells lately, so I might have to post tomorrow instead.
Oh hi!!! Aw man sorry to hear that you’ve been sick. Honestly rest up! Yeah like I dipped out of my own DnD games for 8 months and people were chill with me randomly restarting. Definitely take care of your health first. That’s most important.
yeah I’ll keep my original actions. Nare just wanted to heal first and foremost and then hop to somewhere more safe. I’ll keep my actions the way it is!

DM: Drakkenheim Mind and Matter + Blood Secrets + What's in the Here and Now;
Hastos has a held attack action. Since the first cultist has been managed by Sera, I’ll just take the shot when the next one pops out. (To Hit: 13 (with bless), Dam: 6)
Feel free to include this in your narrative, DM, so I don’t cause anymore confusion than I already have!
You're turning my boss battle into comedy hour! His legs are just... dangling out of the bag, flailing helplessly... such an an undignified way to lose a fight. I rolled a 6 to oppose the grapple, so... you definitely got him. 😅 I have a few phone calls to make, then I'll post my response.
Hastos is benefiting greatly from his new armor. That sheild is looking rough. It's got a break DC. It's unlikely that these cultists have the firepower to break it though, but you should have someone look at that shield when you get a chance. ☺️
In the meantime, I really do need to congratulate Larskolstad on your use of battle tactics and strategy. This battle is far from over, but you and SunDial365 did a pretty effective job of clearing the battlefield of the minor players. The enemies that are left are tough enough on their own without getting needled from a flank by mooks. And the Cult Leader has been mostly ineffective after her first attack. Without the ability to dispel the darkness, the cult members must move away from the protective pillars to engage, or get silently stalked by Ororana. 😅 Not that you should count on her. Compared to Dawnbound, she's (at best) a glass cannon. She got lucky with two high rolls against the last of the Cultists. She's headed for a solid ass-whooping if she has to fight the harder enemies by herself.
The battle is still very dangerous. Sera made her save this time. And it is dumb to target clerics with hold person as wisdom saves are high...it should be used against fighters and barbarians.
It wasn't the best strategy, true, but Cult Fanatic Blue was in a bit of a pinch. He wasn't willing to hurt his ally, and couldn't reach you (or be exactly sure where you were) with his move speed hampered by moving in the dark. A creature going one-on-one with a cleric is never a wise idea. 😅 But... for NPC status, he's technically a pretty powerful divine caster. He just grossly underestimated the power and sheer will of the cleric he targetted. Good job on the save! High WIS bonus or not, there was always a chance for failure, and you'd definitely rather be fighting a Cult Fanatic than a Sargonnas Recruiter right now. As long as the guy in the sack remains in the sack, you've effectively rendered him helpless, and serving as cover.

I think it is two cultists first then Sera...
The cooperation window kinda closed I think when Merekas, hastos and Orerana attacked. Like this is the cult of VENGEANCE...they hold a grudge ;)

Fekt like a great oppertunity go stuff the cultist IN the big sack he seemed halfway in already.
And carry him as a shield to take all nasty shit emerging from the darkness.
Dang it, Lars! 😆
