Yes you can add inspiration to Thistle. Open the bag of holding and see what Cassee has put there for you.
Yes you can have advantage for the performance if you practice first.
Nice! Also, Bards don't actually get to regain Bardic Inspiration uses on a short rest until level 5 :( , so he only has one more for today after giving one to Thistle.
Sorry, missed that the roll didn't come through in the end, I know that I saw a roll and that it wasn't that good but I'm not complaining, thanks. :-) So, are you saying there were another 3 pass cards in the bag then? Can you describe the key, anything unususal about it?
No, I assumed you'd added them. Just 3 pass cards in total.
The key looks like it might fit an old type of lock. Most likely a room in the Museum, apart from trying it in every door you find no distinguishing marks on it. You remember that Dr Dannell had tried to rob the Museum, this must have been the key she used.
For those wondering about Adrians prices being lower than the Players Handbook list, it's because I'm using the old DM Saner Prices list where a potion of invisibility is 180GP instead of 5000GP.
Also I use the DM rule of antitoxin being a poison cure.
Just to clarify, I was referring to this part of the Thieves' Tools description where it says if a character has both proficiencies, they roll with advantage. Are we using this feature?
If you have proficiency with a tool, add your Proficiency Bonus to any ability check you make that uses the tool. If you have proficiency in a skill that’s used with that check, you have Advantage on the check too.
Yes is the answer to that, you roll with advantage. However rolling a 1 means that you had a critical failure, thus the pick broke. Althea will be at the museum on business for a short while feel free to ask to borrow hers. She may even say yes.
Dear Wyntarvox I went looking for the advantage rule that you were talking about. It is not in the DM guide so I looked through all the information in the Players Handbook and found a tiny paragraph. I've been using the DMs manual for everything, sorry for that.
From now on in accordance with the Players Handbook, you have advantage on all sleight of hand rolls. Just don't roll snake eyes!
Oberon99 When are you planning to send Thistle back to the Museum? I'm trying to avoid people seeing the cockpit door open. Althea will be with you at 5 and a half bells for the carriage ride to the Museum.
Stated in post #258 that he was ready to head back into the drivers seat well before the gala, but let's say that he went about five bells or so if that's okay :-)

Okay, thanks :-)
Oberon99 does Thistle have a way of contacting you...for instance telepathy? He is in the Allosaurus at the moment.
Not that far unfortunately so he would need to return to report at some point :-)

If not Delilah has a set that might be borrowed. :-)
Yeah, but I didn't roll with advantage so could have avoided the 1. All good, Exa has two sets of Thieves' Tools.

I'll do my best! Though now that I've said that, I'm sure I've just jinxed myself into rolling double ones next time.

How far is the egg from the dias where Mav will be?

So, before I post in the main thread, was it okay that Thistle flew off to the museum at five bells?
No problem about him heading of by himself. He'll avoid the rush and should be able to enter the Allosaurus without being seen.
