Magnus enters the cave carefully, seeing that Ellora has soothed the wolves a bit. He keeps his blade ready in case they should try and attack while raising a silent prayer to Helm to protect Ellora and the other companions present from danger.
Herron looks at the wolves with distrust. "Feeding a hungry wolf doesn't make you its friend, just not its current meal." Herron makes a point to try to get past the wolves while they are distracted. He's more concerned about what might check on what disturbed the wolves.
((I've decided to leave it to fate to see whether the wolves attack you or not. 11 or higher they take the jerky and run away, 10 or lower they attack...12))
Clara successfully loosens the chains binding the wolves to the walls. Still hungry for more jerky, they pull on the chains to get closer to Ellora, and the chains snap free. The wolves are now loose and still very hungry...
But it seems the wolves have recognized the favor the party has done in setting them free. If Ellora provides more jerky, the wolves snap it quickly out of her hands and then run out of the cave.
Does the chamber continue to the east at all? Or just back out the way we came (and then north)?
The debris is from a chute that heads upwards. It looks possible, albeit difficult, to climb up, but it would require some Athletics checks. Otherwise, it's just the path to the north.
Clara breathes an almighty sigh of relief as she watches the wolves round the corner and vanish into the woods beyond. "That was amazing, Ellora! Three cute wolves saved, no blood shed, at the loss of a couple of pieces of jerky. I would call that a resounding victory!" She walks up to the warrior woman and claps her on the shoulders in celebration of a job well done.
The bard turns to the rest of the group, still holding the torchlight Herron constructed for her. "Perhaps you should take the lead on scouting here, Throg. I'm happy to do it in well-lit places... or when Minuette finally decides to stop sulking and return. But my eyes aren't suited to the dark, and it's possible flashing this contraption may give away our position... if the rabid barking of those wolves didn't already."
Clara warily glances into the gloom in the north passage, while keeping herself tucked behind a wall for cover.
BONUS ACTION: Bardic Inspiration to Ellora. Once within the next hour, when she fails a D20 Test, she can roll a d6 and add the number rolled to the total, potentially turning the failure into a success.
Herron glances at the eastern path. "Looks very unstable, doubt even goblins would use it as a regular means of entering and exiting. Possibly something of note over there but more likely prisoners wouldn't have been dragged that way. I believe north is the way we should go."
Magnus stands down, glad to see the wolves didn’t fight. “I’m not really one for squeezing into tight spaces. Or splitting the party. I might manage a climb like that, but I think whatever we do, we ought to stick together.”
Ellora pipes up "I vote we head on that way, so we can stick together, like Magnus said." She looks up the shaft that fades away into darkness. She climbed plenty of trees on the farm, but Herron was an old man, and she doubted he and the bard, who seemed to be city-folk through and through, could make it.
"While Throg scouts, me and Magnus can be at the front of the pack, so if he gets in trouble, we can rush in and defend him." She says, looking at the veteran warrior, seeing if he approved of the plan.

"Hmm, one or two of us could probably make it." He said, craning his neck and considering the climb. "But then we would become separated."
"Shall we explore farther?" Throg said, using his spear to indicate the stone steps leading back out the way they had come.
