Nicknack leans down towards the hole left by the removal of the plank and hisses into the next cell. "If you want to get out of here, the time is now. If you want to stay and face forced labor or execution, that is certainly your right. We are leaving - neither the Shepherds nor this cult of Dragon Casters have any mercy towards non-humans. Goodbye and good luck."
With that, he steps up next to Folzi, waiting for orders from the old man.

Nicknack stares gravely at the manacles. "I do not like these,"he says. "I wonder if we can persuade one of those high-and-mighty religious folk to cleave them off of us with one of their fancy swords?"

"About time...good job on that one. So, we doin this now?" Lyra stands ready, her eyes showing an almost scary degree of determination. Her cuffed hands twitch for a moment, as she seems eager to finally charge out of the cell blocks.
(OOC - sorry I meant to call it Action surge. The flurry of blows was just descriptive text. I’ve not used it before. The first lot of four attacks in post #2442 was my readied action to respond to Evers’ action and then my action in the initiative sequence. Post #2449 is the first time I used Action Surge)
OOC: Apologies too! Glad we're on the same page. I'll roll for CON save for bane.
Evers CON save 16 (16 save bane still up against Hrian)
"You're all crazy," the older voice calls through. "We want no part," they adds speaking to Nick.
The young half-elves across from y'all are all pressed against the bars having watched Folzi's marvel.
"Capt...," one begins to yell but the other two silence him.

"Cattle for the Empire's slaughterhouse," Nicknack growls, shaking his head. Turning to Folzi and Lyra, he asks, "So, are we sneaking out while the commotion is going on, or are we waiting until things settle down? What is our plan? Barricade ourselves in the control room? Find another sympathetic officer to take these off? Or just throw ourselves off the side and be done with it?"
OOC: Do we need to roll initiative? How does the cell door open? Inwards, outwards, slide like a jail cell?

OOC there is no point in Hrain attacking as he would be killed by the attacks you've already rolled.
"How you can even speak sickens me, you were caught cheating in a game of cards and you are willing to kill a man for calling you on it, you are worse than anyone locked up in those cells, less than any sellsword, no matter how much you scream about what I must be and how you are tolerated by your goddess must be one of the greatest mysteries in the Sunite faith." Hrain stands still readying himself to avoid any further attacks. "If it wasn't for all your enchanted finery you'd already be dead on the floor, that and the spell your misguided comrade has cast on me." Shouting over at Evers he calls out "when this is done have him tell you what he did whilst under a truth spell, if he has nothing to hide he won't mind."

Once again Pat attempts to parry Ever’s strike (Battle master manoeuvre on reaction) [3]. In his turn he unleashes two blows at Evers - one to the head (Attack: 16 Damage: 14) and then lightning fast another at her legs (Attack: 19 Damage: 7). He the yells out to Hrain “hang in there, Cap’n” as he uses his bonus action to rally (Battle master manoeuvre bonus action) to rally Hrain and provide him with ( 4) temporary hitpoints.
"Drop your weapon," Evers demands again, "your companion realizes when he's beaten. "Will you," she adds.
Turner still holds his sword out to Hrain. The other attacks stand unless Hrain drops his sword. Turner is now holding two more attacks against Pat unless he drops his sword too.
OOC: Death or submission. This is my hardline with my NPC. Moving forward in the fight.

Pat looks at Turner and says ”over my lifetime I’ve fought many foes - both honourable and less than honourable - but you take the cake. Better to die than surrender to a lying dishonourable scum like you so do your worst. Of course if you wanted to see how good you really were you drop your sword and we’ll fight it out with these” he says pointing to his two hand axes on his belt “but somehow I expect not!”
OOC: #2450 yield or die held attack and the new attack. Assuming Hrain understands yield means drop his weapon. You did not you choose a dodge action but yield to me means dropping his weapon. I held the "killing rolls" remember? Those are held triggered if Hrain didn't release his sword. Turner now has his official turn. If your saying Hrain didn't yield the killing blows would have happened before Evers went and before the last round ended with your turn. A move action equivalent dropping the blade which I'm reminding you of now before in post #2466 Turner strikes those killing blows last round. Now he's holding his action again for Pat to yield of his attacks which will trigger for Pat if he doesn't yield. He isn't so those attacks will be on Pat. We've been holding actions all game. Why is it different/impossible now?
"Tell me again about honor" Turner retorts as his blows ring true. "Your own sword betrays you," he adds. "YEILD or DIE," Turner screams frothing at Hrain.
OOC: Holding the attacks below. If Hrain strikes they are triggered.
Attack 1: 20 Damage: 16; an extra 7 if 20; HM 3
Attack 2: 21 Damage: 19; an extra 7 if 20; HM 2
OOC: Point of order - from the quoted text above, I think you declared what the trigger for the attacks was, and the trigger did not occur.
