"Wait a minute you two!" saiys Lebenha to both Haldur and Hrain "What do you two are you thinking you are doing?" her tone is, suddenly, not the calm and relaxed tone of the elf, but that of a mother who had discovered her sons doing some antics.
She grabs two of the greater healing potions and hand each to them.
"Give me those... " she says taking from them the two regular healing potions " Don't be foolish and drop all that chivalry thing for just a minute a think clearly. You two are going to be at the front line, we need you to be on your feet and protect us from the bad guys. For that you will suffer the grievious wounds and need the most potent healing draughts not just to hang to life, but to be able to still kick some butts! And you! " she turns towards Thomas, leaving the two surprised warriors with the greater healing potions in their hands. " You sir take the other, for you can heal them and us and we cannot afford to be running to your side to heal you up. I can froze your face if I want buy I cannot heal your broken bones as you can. "she turn again to the warriors " and be sure to take them before you are almost dead, you hear me?!"
She walks away taking one of the regular potions for herself and giving the other one to Folzi.
"The perils are here and beyond," Artemis begins. "Something we all must face in the Waste is that our magic," the robot holds up a fist as arcane engeries crackle over in it a green spark, "may abandon us," they add snd your sure they are frowning. "Beasts if snow and ice, the White Waste tribes that somehow survive this bitter winter, and the distance itself. I am a scholar Folzi," Artemis pauses, "created to ponder and record history not to be an active participant. I am sure this may be my first adventure as well as my last " they add gravely.

Thomas definitely seems out of sorts as the morning goes on.
"Of all the Sisters, Mystra is by far the least martial. Our purpose here in the camp has mostly been that of record keeping and education. Aside from my own personal weapons, I am at a loss what may be available. I will however, check with Matthias if he knows of anything."

Hearing Artemis' answer to Folzi piques Haldur's curiosity, and he steps nearer to the warforged again.
"Umm..., I'm sorry for asking," The young warrior begins haltingly, "but I know very little about such matters, and maybe you might have an answer. You say that there is a risk of your arcane abilities abandoning you, err, I mean, us." Haldur gestures to the group as a whole, "Do you know if this handicap will extend to the dragon that threatens us, or to the cultists that have attacked the camp? If they pursue us across the Wastes, will they be limited to physical assaults or is the font of their power somehow immune from the nullifying effect of the Waste? Are there any records of such things kept by the Mystran scholars?"
"The Waste claims all magic not divine in nature or so has been observed. Enchantments weaken, spells fade or falter. That is what I've read yes," Artemis replies to Haldur. "As for these cultists and the dragon I have no idea if they'll be affected but the laws of nature, in my experience, apply to all not some," they add. "Thomas there is the armory but he's right. We were built to replace the need for physical strength like Ora employs with Mystra's aid," the robot points to the dormat guardian then to the paladin.
"Lot of good it did us," Ora scoffs. "Not much in means of rearming anyone I'm afraid. We kept up what we came with if created what we had need of," she adds looking to Haldur.

Folzi looks over what all they have managed to scavenge around the garrison. He taps on the left of Artemis. "What do you make of this banner and bag that we found? Seems like something of the size of the banner shouldn't fit. Is this one of those magical bags that you can stuff everything in and not get any heavier?"
"Must be a magic object then. You'd find plenty hidden among the Mystrans. They were not a lot for doing things by half measures or the hard way. The best object for the task..." they say but then trail off. "Wouldn't you agree Thomas," Artemis replies.

Hrain listens to the exchange between Folzi and Artemis with interest but quickly resumes his most recent past-time of imagining himself fighting a large white dragon, the tactics he could employ, how his companions could work together, many of these little fantasies end in his death, some do not, and in some he emerges triumphant, his sword piercing the dragon's throat and taking the last of it's lifeblood.

"So this 'breakout' is going down tomorrow, right? What's the plan? We just gonna make a mad dash for the gates when the Commander confronts the dragon? If that's the case better get rested up because it's sure to be a loooong walk.... to wherever we're headed to."
"Folzi, I am heistant to overplan this until we know how the Commander intends to do this, it may have substantial impact on our choices. I suggest we wait a little but it is good that we have prepared for spending an extended period in the White Wastes, it seems that our journey may be long. At least that would be preferably to it being extremely short..." Hrain fades off unwilling to continue with any negativity.

"I agree, we won't be able to make any plans for how we escape unless we know what Matthias is planning in the first place. But we should be ready for whatever is going to happen in the end...Oh"Lyra looks first at Hrain, and then to Thomas who is still talking to the construct. "Do you, by any chance, know of a similar tunnel that would allow us to leave the camp unnoticed? That might increase our chances of survival by a significant amount..."
Haldur reaches up and scratches his head disconsolately as Hrain and Folzi speak, his mind not entirely comforted by the thought of their fates resting in the hands of Commander Matthias. When Lyra spoke however, the mercenary glanced up and grinned a bit with appreciation.
"Thats a good idea Lyra." He said, his voice very slightly rising with excitement, "Yes, like a contingency plan. With the outcome of Matthias' ambitious scheme so uncertain, we must have a contingency plan of some kind for escape. If we can find a route of egress from this garrison, then we can organize some kind of signal between ourselves that means it is time to enact the escape plan. A flare aloft, a noise of some kind, something that means the worst has happened and everyone get to the arranged and agreed upon evacuation point."
The young sellsword smiled again, "Its better then crossing our fingers and hoping for the best, at any rate."
OOC: Here's the map of the compound. Remember ALL but the Mystra garrison is a ruin. The temple in the center and the other three garrison's are smoldering heaps of stone. West road goes further into the White Wastes towards the mines and rumored to be the end of the world! The East Road goes towards the Warring Strait into the harbor of the former capital city of Caorthann which now lay in ruins made by the Weave Waste. Sul Na Mara, a massive port city, is the new capital.

“I thought that Matthias is waiting for us to be ready to leave the camp?” Asks Lebenha to Hrain when he raises his concerns about the commander’s plan timing. “ If we are all rested, equipped and ready I would say that the sooner the better. The idea to leave throught a tunnel seems nice but I do not think any tunnel leads outside the camp, or someone would had tried to use to escape in all those years the camp is operative...” she says with little hope in that plan “ but it would be perfect yes. I am concerned about the gates. It really doesn’t matter wich one we choose, I guess that they are guarding it and just waiting for us to try to escape. Now that we all have recovered our powers maybe we could try to approach a wall and jump or fly over it? “ she asks to the others.
OOC: Too be clear. The West road leads to the mines and deeper into the White Waste not civilisation of any kind. The East gate leads to the Waste, a small working harbor, and then civilization. Also ALL lead Shepherds would know there's NO tunnels out of camp.
"He's preparing," Artemis comes down in tye early morning hours of the next day. "He asks you leave quickly. He will attempt to lure the cultists and the beast with himself and the guardians. Folzi waves a hand a Lebenah at the offered healing potion. "I already took one for myself. Lyra and Cara can have the last two."
(Greater Potions to Hrain, Haldur and Thomas. Common to Folzi, Leb, Lyra and Cara.)
She nods and gives the rest of the potions as he suggested.
