Kosadius stands firm, he knows this pirate is tough, especially after been stabbed several times by different weapons. He stands firm once the big one tries to attack him but glad someone came to help.
(When Kosadius turn comes along, he will try to attack once again.)
"Why do you insist on dying against us. Lathander will see us get through this and see your lives thrown away." This time, he will swing towards side, trying to hit that area once again with as much strength he can muster.
Zandak will try to put his free hyena like paw onto the hook, shift back to his more humanoid form and try to get a better grip on the hook with his more humanoid hands now.
Zandak manages to scramble onto the rope and back onto the ship(If you wish to go back to the ship). It was lucky that he did, because he notices fins poking out of the water near where fallen pirates landed.

Eili clutches her arm. If she takes another hit like that, it might be curtains for her. She disengages from her pirate and attempts to make it to some form of cover, trying to take the path with the least amount of pirates
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OoC: Yeah, saw that. I have a bad habit of checking in on these games on my phone when I'm not in a position to post, so then it looks like I've been online recently, but that's only sort of true. Of all things, I was playing D&D IRL tonight! Woo!
Watching the chaos unfold before him from the relative safety of his interportal nook, Alvyn thinks to himself, "Ah, I suppose I should um... help. Yes, that seems like the prudent thing to do in this scenario." He puts away his spellbook, mutters an incantation in ancient primordial, and waves his hands about in a series of structured gestures, then points at the injured pirate engaged with Eili. Out of nowhere it hears the sound of ghastly otherworldly bells.
Casting toll the dead. The pirate must make a DC 14 Wisdom save or take 4 necrotic damage.
Alvyn then turns around and goes into the real door, just in case somebody should come looking for him.
Let's try that damage roll again:1Never mind? The first one worked after all?
The sound of a bell resonates through the air, and the pirate stiffens, then falls, stiff as a board, into the waters below.
The sailors recover from the shock of the initial attack, and get to work. 2 gang up on Grugg's bandit, and both slash her. She goes down on one knee, then recovers.
The other 3 fire on the pirates currently crossing with their crossbows, one misses, but the other two hit. None of the pirates fall, but they look hurt.
2 pirates look up from their game of poker and see a battle raging. They decide to help, but maybe not this round.(Nat 1 on Initiative)

OoC: Did we miss a Kosadius turn? I might be misreading but it looks like you got his readied attack in the narrative but not his actual turn? (I assume we're one full sweep through the initiative order now)
OoC: Cool, thanks. Thought maybe I'd missed something. So then, if I have this correct, the full turn order is
Eili (who may want to revise her prepost given that she didn't take as much damage as she thought and would also be disengaging from a dead person?) Grugg (who has preposted) Zandak (who may be busy climbing back aboard) some combination of pirates, sailors and Kosadius (who thought he was preposting but was actually postposting, or maybe just posting) Alvyn some more pirates/sailors
As Zandak flies past he is going to try to turn sideways to hopefully hit something so he doesn’t fall out
Dex Save: 5
(@AlienBroStar - Oh man! lol)
Zandak manages to grab onto the grappling hook with his claws, but hyenas aren't the best at holding on, and he is slipping...

(When Grogg's turn comes up)
Grogg slips deeper into a rageful state and attacks the pirate in front of him while howling his battle-forged war-cry,
"RRROOOOAAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!"
Attack with 2h Great Axe: Attack: 6 Damage: 13
(...wow...)
Athletics: 20
(Thank the Gods haha)

(Oops, my mistake. That should be 4, not 6. I gave the wrong modifier.)
