Rhogar, after seeing his companions take their beating will turn away from the gaurds and retrieve his familiar Owl named Sut from the safty of it's pocket demension Find Familiar. "On my move, I need you to fly as high as you can in the air and help me to spot threats alright?, Sut will give a small nod of his black smokey feathered head. A moment later Rhogar will stand up and pull out the piece of flint that had been given to him. Looking at the unaware gaurd that is beating his companions, he will cast catapult on the flint and send it flying towards the guard while yelling "I was a slave once! Never again!!!" Sut will take off into the sky and survey the area and telepathicly let me know what is going on on the battlefield.
It is a DC 12 dex save against the attack (hoping he has disavantage because it is a suprise) 16

Lucky, ready to strike simultaneously with Rhogar's surprise attack, casts [Tooltip Not Found] on Recwyin as a bonus action, then casts Vicious Mockeryon the guard that Rhogar attacks (or if he dies, the next closest Drow Guard to Lucky).
(If hits) Vicious Mockery roll: 3"Your laughable excuse for guardsmanship would make Madam Ilvara wretch with disappointment."
Initiative Check: 7
(The first spell Lucky tries to cast is Bardic Inspiration. Maybe it's not a 'spell' so it can't find it...what would it be listed as? Also tried an 'action' and a 'skill'...so far no luck. weird...after adding this edit, it rolled the Vicious Mockery and Initiative check again. Init check was originally 19+1=20)
(I added "(If hits)" before "Vicious Mockery" and it gave the warning of roll manipulation! Totally didn't fudge anything, I swear.)
Garruk, waiting for this moment, mutters and casts Frostbite on a guard that remains unharmed (if there is no longer an unharmed guard, he casts it on a guard Lucky did not mock, as that would waste the point of the spell).
DC: 14
Damage: 6
If he managed to find a piece of mistletoe (seriously doubt it), he also pulls out the piece of wood and casts Shillelagh on his makeshift club as a bonus action.
Bigsby takes note of the guards behaviors as he returns back to work. He learns that one of the drows, with scars on his face is named Jorlan. He seems to be in charge of the other two. Garruk shrugs off the kick as best he can and returns to the stones, keeping his eyes out for any useful plant life. He spots a small tip of Zurkhwood root coming out of the roof of the tunnel. He nabs it and tucks it away before any of the guards notice, whether it will work for casting spells he can't be sure at the moment. Recwyin tried but is unable to find any useful items to free him from his shackles. Rhogar, fed up with this treatment, will summon his owl familiar onto his shoulder ready to launch it into the air on his command. He holds his shard of flint in his hand and draws a small rune on it with his finger. He shouts, "I was a slave once! Never again!!!" and sends the flint hurling towards one of the guards htting him square in the chest, and launches his owl Sut into the air.
Lucky, at the ready for Rhogar's attack shouts "Your laughable excuse for guardsmanship would make Madam Ilvara wretch with disappointment." his enchanted insults cause the guard to stagger for a moment. He also offers some words of encouragement to Recwyin.
Recwyin, seeing the others take action steps up and clocks the closest guard in the face.
Garruck mutters to himself at the events happening before him and sprays a numbing frost onto the Drow who has yet to be hit by his comrades.

I let Rhogar and Lucky have a surprise round, and the rest happened in initiative order, we're on Rhogar again.

Sut, surveying the area will relay back to Rhogar which of the guards is the most injured. Turning to face the weakened enemy, He will cast fire bolt while yelling "DO NOT LET THEM ALERT THE OTHERS! We must free the other captives!

Rhogar shouts loudly for everyone to not let the guards alert anyone of the situation, and launches a fire bolt at the one of the guards, but it flies wide.
Kind of shocked at the turn of events. Bigsby picks up a sizable rock that fits in his giant hand and charges at one of the guards. He trips over a small boulder though and goes tumbling to the ground.
The more injured of the Drows fires his crossbow bolt at Garruck but is still disoriented from Lucky's insult and misses.
The guard who is covered in a light frost attempts to shoot at lucky but his finger slips and he shoots into the air instead.
The third guard shoots at Rhogar, Attack: 16 Damage: 2, but he missed and hits the wall instead
**behind you is the wall of the cavern, where you've been working, in front of you is the guards and beyond that is the deep chasm that runs through this cave system. Your bolts would fly past them out towards the other side of the cavern, so they don't hit anything flammable. **
"Is that the best you've got? Your mother was a cross between a Drow whore and an elvish donkey!",says Lucky, as his spiderbro, Leggy scowls with disdain towards the Drow.
The guard staggers again, effected by the mental attack.

***ooc stuff: you've seen that there was a possible tunnel not too far from where you are but there are 2 more guards there. There is another possible tunnel much farther away, that is unguarded, but you will be left out in the open heading that way. The guards aren't on the edge of the chasm, but if you wanted you could try a grapple check to push them off, but if you fail they might throw you...***
(@party - super risky on the grapple! I think we can take them at this rate, fighting with other means. Hoping this wouldn't break the story, but I'd like to suggest we search the guards for the cell key(s) and then unlock the cells to create mass chaos to allow us an escape while the guards fight back the uprising. Or, if DM advises against that ;) I vote we take the tunnel with 2 guards. I'd want to try a charm person on one of those guards if we vote that's our next path.)
If we can take these guards out without alerting more we definitely need to search them. Keys, weapons, tools no matter which way we go we need to be prepared.

Kind of shocked at the turn of events.. Bigsby heard some of the other prisoners talking, but didn’t know anything was going to happen.

Recwyin feels different. Is he hungry, exhausted or under a spells influence?
As he sees a guard hit with a spell he takes an opportunity attack on him as he turns and takes an unarmed attack on the next closest guard.

Maybe we shouldn't yell if we don't want to alert the guards, but you're right.

OOC, YAY Guard 3 missed me... also I am sure my yelling is fine... I assumed the guards were probably already yelling after being attacked lol:D
ooc2, does my fire bolt hit anything and ignite it? I may be able to use my control flames to do some cool stuff if it does.

Lucky, laughing just a little inside at the scene unfolding before him, once again targets the same Drow with Vicious Mockery:
