Rhogar will quickly whisper to the others, "I have an idea... what If we made them believe that their tower was on fire and that they needed to come down. Then we could either attack them as they descended or jump them once they reached the bottom??" Rhogar will then quickly use the Prestidigitationand makethe smell of smoke and the sound of cackling fire and a puff of smoke appear to be comingfrom hisopen hand.
Rhogar will instruct Sut to look for anything flammable on the guard tower that he could attempt to hit with a fire bolt
Recwyin wonders how far away the guards are and what the range will be as they exit the tower. Can they be shot from here? Recwyin as looks for cover he can get behind and snipe from if necessary.

“Jorlan said it was the bosses orders, he took he others to the south entrance... something about intruders. Might want to start heading that way to see if they need help.... I will take care of these” as Bigsby says that he kicks Rhogar to nudge him along.
"Alright, I'll send someone to assist him, carry on" and the guard ducks back in to the room.
Recwyin - you are out on a precipice that runs the length of the cavern. There's no cover here but you could shoot into the guard tower. They would have cover however.
Rhogar - The guard towers are made entirely of stone, there may be some flammable objects inside, but its difficult for Sut to see inside from up above.
You all make it past the two guard posts and are approaching the first wooden bridge. You can see from where you are that there are at least 2 guards in the large room that you will have to walk through to get to the other bridge leading to the slave pens.
Garruk whispers back: “Agreed, our ruse likely won’t hold up to close inspection. But we can’t pick a fight with every single guard we see. If we could perhaps draw them away with an illusion of some sort... unfortunately this isn’t exactly my area of expertise.”
“You all have the shackles on, there is no reason for them to expect it until we get close and even then they might not be paying attention. We attack one person at a time. If the second person shouts out and others come running I will hold them back and say we have it under control now, while you free the others from their cages. Once we have greater numbers then we get the hell out of here.”
Rhogar will use his mind to instruct Sut to do a flyby of the area with the 2 guards to see if he can spot any additional threats. He will also instruct Sut to stay as high and quiet as possible to avoid any detection or suspicion. He will they relay any findings to his companions.
Rhogar will whisper to the others "Sut only detects 2 drow, he reports that they are currently having a conversation...." A moment later he will continue "I say we take them down" His voice lowering to nearly a growl.
Lucky says, "I think we continue on, and if they stop us or question us, we catch them off-guard and attack. If they do stop us, I can try to charm person one of them to make our fight easier. If they don't stop us, we keep moving along. There's only two of them, after all.
"Thank you, Rhogar." Lucky whispers."Let us help these slaves out of their cells as quickly as possible. They will serve their own vengeance upon these guards we pass. Oh, a glorious day it will be indeed, my friend."
Leggy crawls around to Lucky's other shoulder with heightened senses, perhaps feeling that we're passing through dangerously guarded territory once more.

You all make your way across the first bridge, approaching as if you're returning from a day of work.
I'm going to roll you all a group performance check. I'll even tell you it's only a DC10. If at least 3 of you pass, the guards don't even look up.

Even though Recwyin is sweating profusely, and Garruk took his hands out of his shackles to scratch his nose, the guards pay you no mind. And you make your way across the second bridge. You see the iron gate that closes off the pen. There are no guards currently in front of the gate.
Rhogar will quickly whisper to the others, "I have an idea... what If we made them believe that their tower was on fire and that they needed to come down. Whispering at least 2 guards, how do we play it? Pretending to be slaves still may not work as close as we have to pass

I say we use the element of surprise to attack them. They will know we are no longer prisoners the moment we get close to them.
We have ranged attacks but they might too. Can your owl see if they are carrying crossbows like the other guards?

Do we cross the bridge?
Sut relays back to you that the two guards are currently engaged in conversation.

I agree with Lucky. We should be prepared to fight but try to just get by.
"As you wish, let us try to walk past without drawing any attention..."

(OOC - awesome! Luck(y) prevails!)
"Let's see if one of these keys we picked up from Jorlan opens that gate." Lucky whispers to the group.
(not sure if I have the keys or if someone else pocketed them before I posted. In any case, I know one of us has them.)
I'm pretty sure I saw you grab the keys. Open the gate, free the slaves and we can explore this cavern.
