Using the column as cover Carrow looks into the chamber, the enemies being thinned out at a rapid rate. No time for the trap he thought, a question he didn't have time to answer before the combat started. The ranger changed his target and knocks an arrow for the ogre. Letting it fly he watches it dart across the cave.
Carrow's shot strikes the ogre in its massive torso, and the ogre emits a deafening yell in response.
Goblin 1 turns his head momentarily to see where Rixton is located but decides to continue its approach toward the other members of the party. Moving past the goliath, the goblin steps toward Ladrian and swings its scimitar (Attack: 10 | Piercing damage if successful: 5).
The ogre, enraged at being attacked three times in quick succession, seeks to unleash its fury on Vigan (Greatclub attack: 22 | Bludgeoning damage if successful: 14)
Northwest of Andor, in the main tunnel, two more goblins suddenly appear as they dash toward the sound of conflict. Each is wielding a scimitar. In the northeast corner of the main room, a sixth goblin appears. Rixton realizes its presence as it prepares to fire an arrow from its shortbow.
(Round 2 is concluded. All players may take their round 3 actions in any order; the monsters will follow)
Seeing Vigan take a large blow from the Ogre only made the Half-Orc more annoyed his last shot didn't take the creature in the eye. Moving out from cover now he side steps (K15 bottom left corner) to get a better angle on the beast. One more shot and the swords coming out he thought to him self as he raised his bow, and let another arrow fly towards the beast.
Attack: 24
Damage: 3
As the arrow left his hand the clatter and unmistakable sound of more goblins approaching reverberated around the chamber, we could be seriously outnumbered in here.
Turning to see another goblin enter the chamber (no6) he turns and in Orcish says "You there stop now"
Seeing a new threat coming towards him and with little support behind him Andor calls forth another shard of ice and hurls it at the lead goblin hoping once more that the detonation harms the other goblin he can see. The storm winds churn again and he feels the call to fly again but resists it as he walks backwards away from the enemy focussing on them and on manipulating the energy in his body to grant him more spellcasting power. "There are two more coming from this way! Make sure we don't get cut off!"
Casts Ice Knife attack 6 damage 5 cold damage and 9 cold damage if DC13 Dex save is failed.

Reeling from the blow from the greatclub, the goliath shakes his head a few times and snaps back out of the grogginess associated with being hit by a tree trunk. Letting out a yell, he drops his torch, and his shoulder. Putting as much power as he can through the few steps between him and the ogre, he attempts to check it to the floor.

Rixton:
The goblin slumps to the ground before I can swing again. A grunt to my right snaps my attention to the rest of the battle. Then I see another goblin sneaking in behind me, followed by Ladrian felling a goblin. Vigan pushes back against the ogre toppling it and I see my opportunity. The new goblin can wait. Six quick steps brings me to the fallen ogre and I drive my blade into it.
Andor's shard of ice explodes, filling the tunnel with razor sharp fragments. The goblin leading the charge down the passageway absorbs the full force of the explosion and dies immediately from the cold damage. The second goblin was shielded from the effects of the spell and continues its charge down the tunnel.
Die roll to determine ogre's reaction (1d4) to being knocked down and stabbed. Roll of 1 or 2 = attack Vigan; roll of 3 or 4 = pursue and attack Rixton. 2
Rixton's sword cuts an enormous gash in the fallen ogre's back. Writhing in pain and screaming in rage, the monster rises to its feet and swings its greatclub at Vigan (Greatclub attack: 10 Bludgeoning damage, if successful: 10)
Goblin 5 continues to dash down the main tunnel; upon reaching square J11, it pauses and takes in the battle scene in the main room. Goblin 6 turns around and disappears into the tunnel behind it.
(Round 3 has ended. All players may take their round 4 actions in any order)
I bounce back from my surprising strike, expecting the ogre to lash out at me. It swings wildly at Vigan and so I drive in again, trying to surprise it with an unexpectedly quick attack.
Rixton darts in and wounds the ogre a second time. Blood pours from the multiple wounds the monster has sustained; it is the beast's fury alone that keeps it standing and fighting.

Carrow
The ogre now seemingly on the edge begins to ready itself for its next attack. Carrow reaches to his back for the Longsword he kept there. Not yet he thought, only when it's needed. He instead drew both shortswords and rushed the wounded creature.
The ogre breathes its final breath as Carrow's first attack with a shortsword brings the monster to its knees, and then, a moment later, the ogre slumps face down on the cave floor.
(Round 4 actions for Vigan and Andor are next. NOTE: The only enemy currently in a known position is goblin 5, located at J11, with a scimitar in hand and uncertainty on its face).
Vigan meets the ogre's greatclub with his own weapon, the blow so fierce it takes all of his strength to not be knocked back by it, despite successfully blocking the attack. He watches his companions down the ogre with an onslaught of arrows and blades before he is able to regain his composure to strike it himself.
Turning, he spies a goblin at the point where he entered the cavern. He rushes the goblin with a war cry, and swings his battleaxe at its head with both hands.
The look of uncertainty on the goblin's face quickly turns to one of terror as he beholds Vigan. With one swing of his axe, the goliath nearly hews the goblin in two.
"Vigan," I say. "Are you okay? Do you need healing?"
I glance down the passage that the remaining goblin fled into. "Ladrian or I can scout that tunnel or we can regroup here and prepare for another potential wave."
"Never mind me", the goliath replies, spitting a mouthful of blood onto the floor next to him, "but the human lying unconscious over there could do with some aid."
Vigan sweeps the man off the floor, and carries him to the pillar of rock further back down the tunnel, setting him down gently so that his back and head rest against the pillar.
Rummaging around in his backpack, Vigan finds some smelling salts, and holds them under the nose of the man, hoping to bring him round. Should have listened more to the tribe healer...
Moved to H12 (southeast of Andor)
Used a healing kit on the human male.
