Vigan
The goblin's scimitar meets with Vigan's greataxe, the clash of the weapons ringing round the room. Vigan counterattacks, swinging his greataxe in a horizontal arc, aiming for the goblin's head.
Andor and Ladrian: The door to the northeast room opens without any trouble, and what you see before you is a vacant bedroom with two beds, a wardrobe, a desk, and a matching chair. A bearskin rug lies on the floor and two unlit oil lamps rest on a small table between the beds.
Vigan and Carrow: The first goblin successfully ducks beneath the swing of Vigan's axe; it then makes another lunge with its scimitar. (Attack: 8 If successful, then 4 slashing damage)
The second goblin is nicked by Carrow's attack and then takes a wild swing at the ranger. (Attack: 7 If successful, then 3 slashing damage)

Vigan
Vigan meets the scimitar again with his greataxe, but this time he is able to angle his block to allow a quicker response, slicing at the goblin before it has the opportunity to move.
Andor and Ladrian: You open the door to the next room--the one in the southeastern portion of the upper story--and you see the wreckage caused by the boulder that fell through the roof and, then, through the floor. The only furniture that survived is a desk and a chair that are tucked under the window, which is open. Slumped over in the chair is a light-haired female human. You can see an arrowhead protruding from between her shoulder blades. Her garb is that of a monk--a simple, hooded brown robe. Coiled around the woman's arm is a flying snake that moves slightly enough for you to detect that it is actually a living creature. Your presence startles the snake just a bit, and it begins to loosen its hold on the woman's arm as if it might use its wings to take flight. On the floor next to the woman is a small crossbow.
As the bell suddenly stops across the village Andor sees the woman sprawled in the room and rushes in, pausing from touching her as the winged snake moves but decides to go ahead and reaches out to check for a sign of life.
"Don't worry, I'm trying to help her" he says to the snake, hoping it will remain calm.
Andor: The flying snake unwraps itself from the woman's arm completely; it then makes a short flight to the other side of the room where it coils up and, statue-like, watches your movements. There is no indication that the woman is alive; the goblin arrow was placed just perfectly.
"Damn, she helped us and it got her killed. I wonder why she was here on her own, everyone else seems to have run, but maybe they are hiding out too..." Andor turns to the flying snake "I don't suppose you speak, do you?" Picking up the small crossbow he examines it saying "This look nasty, I guess she won't be needing it now - could you use this?"

Carrow
"Goblins are stupid unless mobilized in any great number, still need to find who's leading these sheep" Pointing his sword at the dead goblin in front of Vigan he gives a nod of approval. "Nice work, you can clearly handle yourself" nodding again he looks over the other dead goblin seemingly content with his own kill "And yes of course i can" he replys in answer to the goliath question. "Can you flip the room? somebody may still be hiding" Carrow begins to search the goblins for any clue as to their origin.
Investigation: 5
(Had to change to a tablet, kept getting the dice roll code wrong on my phone)
Carrow and Vigan:Your search of the goblins and the room leaves you with no helpful information about the goblins themselves. Where they've come from and whom they serve is still a mystery. You do, however, find the following items:
A cloth sack containing a silver holy symbol of the goddess Mielikki shaped like a unicorn's head and a few worthless personal effects that probably belong to the town priest. You estimate that you can fetch 25 gold pieces for the holy symbol.
A cloth sack containing three empty glass vials and an unlocked wooden poor box that contains 45 pieces of copper and 15 pieces of silver.
Priestly vestments and articles of clothing.
Andor and Ladrian: The flying snake coils up as tightly as possible and does its best to cover its body with its wings, showing no indication that it will communicate or interact with you.
"It's a damn shame she is dead." Ladrian says while testing for her life signals. "That's a fine x-bow, I'm sure we can find it use within the crew. Ultimately, it could be the reason we are still alive"
Then he turns to the flying snake: "Now how did you ended up here and how are you connected to this girl? So many misteries and so little time. The bell has stopped"Ladrian says inquisitively.

Carrow draws both short swords in anticipation. Filthy goblins.
Vigan
Initiative: 13
"Come on then!", the goliath roars at the goblins, readying his greataxe.
The first goblin sneers and charges directly at Vigan. (Scimitar attack: 5 If successful, then 3 slashing damage)
The second goblin continues its descent on the rope for a few more feet before jumping to the floor and drawing its scimitar.
Vigan's turn is next, to be followed by Carrow's.
Vigan

Carrow
Seeing the second goblin land and draw his weapon Carrow runs forward to engage him slicing viciously with both swords.
Attack: 23 Damage: 8
Second weapon Attack: 10 Damage: 1

Andor
"Let's try the other room, they may be hurt worse than we thought."
Andor tries the next door in the same way as the previous one, with a warning and then ducking out of the way when he opens the door.

Carrow
Carrow deflects the scimitar with one blade easily and launches a quick counter attack against the goblin filth.
Attack: 16 Damage: 5
Off hand Attack: 20 Damage: 3
With two quick shortsword attacks, Carrow finishes off the second goblin. Almost simultaneously, the temple bell sounds its faint, final toll.

Vigan
The goliath sighs in relief as silence falls upon the temple. "Perhaps these goblins were too busy having fun to hear the battle outside?"
Vigan casts an eye round the room, noting that it has clearly been ransacked.
