These 60' x 60' rooms are simple quarters for giants. On the north and south wall of each room is a stone slab that serves as a bunk. These slabs, in both rooms, are covered with tattered furs. Nothing else of interest is in either room.
Watching Rixton take the stairs Carrow turns around and decides to watch the groups back. Turning he looks back through the now thawed doorway into the main chamber. He taps the hilt of his new sword across his back, not entirely trusting of its name he then, nervously, almost idly runs his finger over the top of his new ring.
OOC: just checking, barbarians with dragons and all that.
With the others following Rixton up the stairs, Vigan shrugs as he looks down the first hallway. "He seems certain Thyrm's axe is not lying that way, I will check quickly that this is the case. Someone accompanying me would make this quicker." The goliath heads off down the hallway, glaive over his shoulder.
Vigan will start walking down the hallway, DM can time this with everyone else's actions.
Carrow and Ladrian head up the stairs to check on Rixton. Meanwhile, Andor, Vigan, and Harshnag begin to walk down the long hall. To the right and left, through large stone archways, are 60' x 60' rooms that serve as simple quarters for giants. On the north and south wall of each room is a stone slab that serves as a bunk. These slabs, in both rooms, are covered with tattered furs. The fourth room on the left has a large crack in its western wall. The opening is approximately 10' high and 5' wide, and Harshnag states he has no idea why it is there or where it might lead.
(For now, I'm assuming that Andor, Vigan, and Harshnag have advanced no farther than rooms 7 and 8)
Rixton, Carrow, and Ladrian:
As Rixton continues northward, he investigates the next two rooms, one on either side of the hall. As he does so, he hears Carrow and Ladrian coming up the stairs behind him. Carrow and Ladrian realize that this upstairs area is structurally very similar to the area below, but the northern portion has collapsed for some reason. Standing in an alcove at the south end of the hall is a life-size statue of a female cloud giant wearing an angry mask, her arms positioned in a way that suggests she’s casting a spell. And on either side of the hall are rooms that contain giant-sized bunks, most of which are covered with tattered furs.
The three adventurers carefully continue moving north along the upstairs hallway, peering into the rooms to their right and left as they go. The next two rooms (19,20) seem identical to the others. Each room has two huge bunks, upon which lie old, tattered furs that served as bedding at some point in the past.
"Remember we are looking for a Frost Giant weapon, but even bigger than usual. Shouldn't be hard to spot." Andor walks along with the others, quietly wondering when Rixton will find himself in trouble and will they be able to hear him.

Rixton:
Hoping for nothing but preparing for the worst, I draw my short sword quietly and creep to the end of the hall, examining the last two rooms and the collapse that has closed off the hallway.
The last room on the right (#22) contains a pair of sculpted stone couches that double as beds. Frost covers everything. A quick search of this room reveals a large stitched leather sack on one of the beds. Within the sack is an iron cooking pot, a bag of dried mushrooms, a rotten haunch of meat, a giant-sized smoking pipe, and a long, slender shard of ice. The curious nature of the ice shard is immediately apparent, for glowing within the shard is the Ise rune.
Other than this leather sack, there doesn't seem to be anything else of importance or interest on this upper level.
As Andor, Vigan, and Harshnag are discussing the large crack in the western wall of one of the rooms, the other three members of the party return from investigating the upper area. Rixton has a large leather sack thrown over his shoulder.
"A crack in the wall, big enough for any of us, bar Harshnag. You timed your arrival well Rixton, we could use a scout to investigate!" Vigan claps the half-elf on the back slightly harder than he needs to, sending him stumbling slightly towards the beckoning gap.
"I'm all for a mystery," I say, rubbing my shoulder. "Maybe Harshnag should hold onto this rune, though. And someone should see if anything else was left in the rooms at the end of this hallway."
I head into the crack to see where it leads. Stealth: 14

Carrow keeps a close eye on the main temple room--the room that the group just left behind--and all seems normal and quiet.

(I don't want to get too far ahead of everyone, but here is Rixton's next move)
I creep ahead to the next two rooms (17 and 18) and peek into each. Stealth: 18

He waits until Rixton and Carrow come back to say: "Hey guys. Any idea where to go now?"

"I'm not sure my friend, I assume the other side looks exactly like this one, let's go check Rixton hasn't gotten himself killed"

I leave the rotting meat, but haul the bag downstairs, catching up with Vigan, Andor, and Harshnag, if possible.

"It was at the end of the hallway up there. Any luck down here?"
