Vondal lets out a huff, sounding both relieved, and yet somehow a little frustrated at once. Still, after setting axe back to belt loop, he pats Adrom on the pauldron with a good natured grin, before looking about to finally and fully take in the area in more details. "Vell, that vent... *ahem*.. That went better than expected, all things considered. That door over there has me a bit worried, but for now, we should probably work on removing bodies from room. Easier to take moment to catch breath that way, or so this one thinks." Vondal said, though grimaced and clutched at his side towards the end. "Mmph... And bandage up too. But short rest definitely in order after that one." He said, and would move to help chuck the bodies back in the pool room at the very least, if not add the bodies to the peculiar barricade.

Vondal opens his mouth as if to complain/counter Karl's point; but, in the end, he just sighs softly in defeat, and sets about trying to drag the bugbear's bodies on his own. A very much time consuming process, but the hill dwarf remained stubbornly determined to get them to the waters of the last room one way or another. Though, he starts after Nif has had a chance to grab his bolts, and even loot at his leisure.
Only when it came to the last body, assuming he'd been able to move any, would Vondal hesitate for a moment, before looking to address the others, "Though... I.... I have the means to speak to an echo of this one's conscience... it is not... pleasant. But, I can perhaps get answers from them. Before I do, do any of you have suggestion for questions?"

Does anyone help Vondal as he starts dragging the bodies? It's 40 feet from the door of the room to the edge of the pool. How far into the pool do you drag them, Vondal? The depth increases one foot for every one foot in. It's a fairly steep decline (45 degree angle).
(@DDP: He intends at least to drag them at least 5ft into the pool and then shove them the rest of the way to float or sink or whatever. Though I guess before that...)
"It is like said before, Uncle... or, I think said.. hm... Anyways! Unlike some, I do not care to rest near dead. Might take bit, but I would rather not have deal with rotted scent while trying to recover from."Vondal explained in between breathes. "Besides, if this is to be a sort of forward base for us in here, all the more reason to remove dead. Least we attract those other things Gundren alluded to last here, yes?"

"Here," says Nif, "I'll give you a hand with those." and helps Vondal move the bodies while continuing, "Don't mind Uncle Karl, he's just a cranky old fart."

At least until he's closing the door once the group's back inside. With a grimace, Vondal turned back to the others and opened his mouth, only to sigh after a moment's hesitation.
"There'll be other chances," He quietly assuaged himself while meander over to iron brazier to warm up again. "Alright. Settle in, everyone. Least for bit. We on move again in hour's time. But please as well. Noone mess with that barricade there."The hill dwarf gestures over to the barricade, then digs out his kit to start patching himself up. "I doubt they would've built it for no good reason."

"I could certainly use a breather" says Adrom looking into his backpack looking for some bandages. "Stupid things " he says referring to the creatures they had just killed "Didn't know where to lay death instead of hitting Moradin's followers heads. Here lads, allow me to take care of some of those wounds. We don't want them to start supuring and get sick, do we?"
"Ah. This is muchy appreciated."Vondal replied to Adrom as he took a roll and patches. Though for the more difficult to treat injuries, the former noble has no compunctions about asking all but Uncle for assistance. Not that he didn't trust Karl's abilities, so much as expected a certain level of roughness. Roughness he would darely wish to avoid least the rest of the short rest be a more sore one.
