Bron the Brave? That's... not exactly the name I'd give him. But... he'll take it. Better than 'Bron the Cowardly', or 'Bron the thin skulled', or 'Bron the Jerk Who Lied To All His Friends About How He Sold His Soul Away'.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
As soon as I read that Vondal picked up the sword, I thought he would be the next to be possessed, but I guess it's less messy for the creature to have "toodled" away and left Vondal to his own fate.
The first time Vondal picked through the piles of sacks and crates, he was too distracted by the burning in his eyes, nose and chest to really take in what he was seeing. The second time he digs through, he notices that most are marked with the image of a blue lion. He supposes these were all stolen from some company transporting goods along the Triboar Trail. Hidden among the supplies is an unlocked treasure chest. Vondal opens it to find 600 cp, 110 sp, two potions of healing, and a jade statuette of a frog (small enough to fit in a pocket or pouch) with tiny golden orbs for eyes.
Depending on what happens next, you might need to alter your posts a bit, Karl.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vondal leaves the money aside for the time being, resolving to distribute it among his brothers once they recovered and killed all the remaining goblins. The frog strangely brings him back to the shock induced visage of the bone creature that sprung from Bron's sword. A quick shake of the head dispels the mental image before he stuffs the frog into his pocket. When he lays eyes on the potions next however, he starts to weep again almost immediately. Biting his lips, he shakes off the onrush of emotion long enough to take them out. He makes his way over to the fallen.
After thinking about it for a few minutes, and realizing Karl and Nif could be out for hours, Vondal feeds both Nif and Karl a potion of each unless Einar runs interference. For each one he is there to cradle them, and after help them up. If they wished to talk of dreams or other matters, he doesn't get away. But rather, he held his tongue until both were up, and solemnly gestured to Bron as their wits returned to them.
"Brother Bron is no longer with us. Klarg… we had to let'em escape to treat you all... The rest won't."He states resolved as he stress down at Bron.
Einar does not interfere with the potions. He has returned to keeping watch at the stairs.

As Nof slowly comes to, he props himself up on his elbows looking around, "What.. what happened?"as he sees Bron's body, worry creeps into his tone. "Don't tell me.. Bron is only unconscious right?"
Vondal solemnly places a hand on Nif's shoulder and grips it firmly. "... No." He says, managing to keep the sutter from his words. "He is with the ancestor now, having done what any good dwarf in his place would've done." Vondal states aloud, though in his mind he adds 'What I should've done'. After a moment's pause, Vondal looks to the remaining cavern. "Now is not the place to lose ourselves, little brother. His sacrifice won't be in vain. Once we have a breather and get properly patched up, we have to finish what we started."

After relating his dream sequence - not that anybody seemed particularly interested - and having said goodbye to Bron, hereafter to be known simply as "Bron - a Mate" Karl wanders over to look at the good stacked in the corner of the cave. He is particularly looking for any weapons or shields. Intrigued by the image of a blue lion stamped on much of the goods he tries to recall if he has seen it before or knows what it represents. He yells out to the group "this Blue Lion is new to me, have any of you lot seen it before?"

Karl mutters something like "I hate it when he's right."He turns to Einar and says "you'll stay here right" he then turns back to Nif and says "c'mon young-un lets go check out the rest of this cave." Karl then sets off moving stealthily and cautiously back across the bridge thinking to himself "let's see if this path links up with that bit that Nif and I couldn't climb."
At Karl's suggestion that he wait, Einar responds,
"Not happening. Bron is dead because we got seperated at the bridge and ended up rushing into a forced fight. Until we're sure this cave is clear, we stick together."

"Ok lets go then, but be quiet - eh" Karl says muttering something like "overkill if you ask me". He turns to Vondal and says "you better come along as well then!"
While his brothers went about going through the crates, Vondal sat towards the middle of the room with his legs folded and hands in his lap. He tunes out most of it after letting them know about the coinage he found earlier. But, as conversation turned towards moving on, Vondal cracks open an eye and says, "Right he is, Uncle. Just wish-..."Vondal grimaces and clutches his side. After taking a few breathes until stabilizing again, he carries on to shaky feet, and walked over to look over the goblin bodies. Once he restocked at least his arrows, he readies his bow, and trails after the other by at least a good fifteen feet.
S/N: None of us has short rested yet as far as I'm aware, so Vondal and his 1 HP is sticking way in the back.
IF we did however, or at least be considering having done so here's the roll for it: 5.
