And with that, Zander toppled over and starts snoring straight into the ground which his face is buried in, producing an unnerving noise which could only be described as 'hnblerfleeeaarkaBLORT'

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
On his turn Karl picks up Zander and flings him over his shoulder and takes him back to wagon and places him gently in the back saying to anybody who is nearby (Nif perhaps) "he dun good - let 'im sleep it off. Now whose for another beer?"
Watching the man hit the dirt face first elicits a faint sigh of relief out of the gold dwarf. "Sorry, son. Tried to warn ya. Didn't listen."He goes to toss the man onto a shoulder, and starts quickly hoofing it back to the others. Though it probably takes a good minute, the moment his eyes land on passed out Zander being thrown into a cart, Vondal facepalms and shakes his head. "Sweet Mya give me strength." He mutters under his breathe.
Realizing that Nif had walked off(AGAIN! Razzlefrazzle :P), Vondal goes to check on the other bandits bodies to make sure no one died.
Medicine: 19. (if needed to "see" if any are in danger of dying. Otherwise, Vondal will break out the healer's kit to at least stabilize them.)
Einar steps out of the Inn with a halfling at his side. Seeing Karl and Vondal, Einar falters in his step, then walks up to his fellow dwarves. "Brothers ... " He looks at the halfling, who gives him a slight nod. "I've got another job, so I'm going to be leaving Phandalin. Badger here could use another strong back. This adventuring ... I need gold," he almost pleads, "and I don't see how searching for Gundren is going to fill my pockets."
"We have mutual friends," Badger says. "We're in the same fight club." The halfling chuckles. "Who would have guessed I'd run into you in this wide spot in the road?" he says to Einar.
"I hope you don't mind me taking off," Einar continues, looking mostly at Karl.
"Brother Einar. Waz wondering where you..." He trails off seeing the nod, and starts to look worry. Worry soon turns to stone faced anger that prompts him to throw off Redbelly on his shoulder. "Why you son of--" Vondal catches himself both on the first word and step towards Einar. Joints pop as meaty hands are balled into tight fist at the nobleman's side. Then a dwarven heartbeat pasts... then a second...
Vondal lets out a deep sigh, and relaxes his hands. "I hardly call what we're doing adventuring, and..."He shakes his head solemnly. "I... won't pretend to understand. But I won't stop you either."He narrows his eyes at Einar. "At very least tho'. If you're head'n back to Neverwinter, can you see to brother Brom? Make sure word reaches his clan, and that he is given proper funeral." Vondal points off to the Tymora shrine. "There is priestess there that may know magics to help preserve him for the trip. Let her know that we will be by to settle any debt for the service."

OOC: I wish now I hadn't had Einar say "adventuring". You're right that they probably wouldn't see it as such. Ah, well.
Einar doesn't react negatively toward Vondal, taking his reaction in justified stride. At the mention of transporting Bron, Einar looks at the halfling again and back. "We're not traveling to Neverwinter," he says.
"My business is logging," Badger explains. "I'm in Phandalin because I was making a delivery. But I'm headed back to our job site. We'll be in the Neverwinter Wood another tenday or two. We really aren't equipped to transport a dead body." The halfling furrows his brow in concern as he looks up at Einar. "This 'Bron' a friend of yours, Einar?"
Einar simply nods, still watching Karl more than anything.
Badger clicks his tongue and shakes his head. "Sorry to hear that. How did he die?"
Nif continues walking south. He passes the place where the Redbrands confonted Zander. Up ahead on the left side of the street is a building a little smaller than the Stonehill Inn built with sturdy stone walls, a pitched wooden roof, and a bell tower at the back. The front of the building is on the opposite side from Nif. A little further on the right is a large building a little bigger than the Stonehill Inn. Hanging above the front door of this large, yet modest-looking building is a sign shaped like a wooden shield with a blue lion painted on it. The woman at the smithy said to continue past these buildings; that the Miner's Exchange would be on the left side of the main road at the southern edge of town.
Nif takes note of the blue lions head on the shield and makes a mental note of the location of the shop to inform the group later on, (memory(INT) check if required: 5) before continuing on to the miners exchange.
Vondal sighs and lowers his gaze. "Vell… Hn... We'll figure somethin out. But what a mess though." Vondal says, though the last part comes out muttered as he shakes his head. "Goblins."He answers Badger. "Einar can tell you the rest on your way out. I... Good fortune, Brother Einar. May it not bite you in the ass."Vondal grins weakly, and after dropping the redbelly(if he hadn't already), he goes over to give Einar one last hearty hug.
"Now get out of here. For I start crying."He jests, though tears were beginning to bud in the corner of his eyes. Once Einar and Badger were hopefully on their way, Vondal turns to Karl. "What do you think we do with the bodies?" He thumbs back over to the Redbellies.

Einar mumbles something about seeing them back in Neverwinter in a tenday or two and asks them to say good-bye to Nif for him. He then walks off with Badger. Karl and Vondal now stand outside the Stonehill Inn. The ox cart is here, loaded down with the original supplies they were hired to deliver, as well as crates and barrels they took from the bugbear's stash. An unconcious Redbrand lies in the road at Vondal's feet.
I should have mentioned that Nif passed by the snoozing Zander as he walked south. There are also two charred Redbrand bodies there. A third Redbrand body lies 30 feet east of Zander.
As Nif is almost to the building with the lion sign, he looks left at the front of the stone building on the left. He sees that a notice board is standing next to the front door. As far as he can see, there's only one notice attached, but he isn't close enough to read it.
"Uncle."Vondal groans out and facepalms. "We can't just leave bodies in -- uugh.. Nevermind! I'll take care of it myself." He huffs in exasperation before going to pick up the unconscious Redbelly. "And I don't got any idea where Nif ran off to. But chances are he is at least keeping himself out of trouble at least... I hope." He said, though the last part comes out muttered. "Anyways. If you can at least get the cart and goods dropped off while you're out looking for him, that would very appreciated. I will catch up." Vondal will pass along any information he had about locating the place before picking back up his charging, and walking off to deal with the aftermath. Which namely entailed first dragging the bodies out of immediate sight of the main roads, and checking their person for anything of note.
Of the unconscious redbelly during that whole time, he finds a bush or unattended barrel that was empty to put him in after searching his person for anything of note.

Each of the Redbrands is carrying a shortsword of standard make and are wearing studded leather. Strangely enough, none of them have any money or personal items on them.
Vondal, please roll sleight of hand for me. :)
As for the unconscious redbrand, there is a mostly destroyed building next door to the Inn. Between the Inn and the building is an unkempt collection of bushes you could use to hide him.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@DDP Why u do dis to me?! XD Not that it'll matter, I'm sure, but since there's no money found, he's not going out of his way to scavenge their weapons.)
Past the two notable buildings mentioned before, the main road takes a slight right, continuing south. Nif passes a building on the left and can see what appears to be the edge of town. There remains one more building on the left.
