"Wha-o-oh. My apologies. We 'ave a number of stops make today, and it's all getting jumbled up at this point." Vondal grins sheepishly while tugging at his beard. "R-right. *ahem* But it is as I said. We are here to at least return what we believe was your property, given all the filigree adorning it. And... heh.. I am sorry again, but what /is/ your name, madam?"

Whilst Vondal does the talking, Nif will help organise a semi conscious human and his Uncle start unloading the cart. If Zander needs to be woken up again, Nif will gladly do so.
The woman gives Vondal a sideways glance, but eventually answers. "Linene Graywind," she says. Vondal watches as her gaze strays past him through the windows at the front of the building. She furrows her brow and then looks back at Vondal. "Whatever it is you're selling, I'm not buying," she says curtly. "Business has been bad of late, and I can't afford to spend anymore coin. You can tell your friends they can stop unloading your wagon."
Seeing his brother is struggling a little bit, Nif steps inside. "Mam, we may have a solution to your business troubles. We found these in a goblin hide-out and thought it would be best to bring them with us in case we find the owner, as we can understand what hard times are like. As the symbol on these crates look very similar to the sign outside, we can assume they are yours?"
(@Zipnok He wasn't struggling! Just... having a poor time at it. >.>)
Vondal breathes a sigh of relief. "Indeed. Is as I said. Not an attempt to sell wares; especially if they were yours to begin with. That would be rather... uncouth of us. Much like those redbelly fellows we've been hearing about."He comments on. "Speaking of which, you wouldn't happen to 'ave'n problems with them personally 'ave you?"

The woman looks past Vondal again, then moves by him, stepping outside into the street. "Praise the Golden Lady," she says, taking in the crates, etc. She looks at the dwarves and Xander, her face brightening. "You found these in a goblin what?" She doesn't wait for an answer. She again looks over the load, physically touching almost everything. "This looks like my last shipment. It went missing a tenday ago." She looks at Karl, who happens to be closest. "Thank you," she says, a smile finally starting to touch her lips. "Do you mind bringing this in? I can't believe it. I was sure this was lost forever like the others."
The dwarves (and even Xander) help Linene bring in everything except the small case Barthen pointed out to them that has the healing potions in it. They stack it all in the center of the big, open front room. Linene, who had disappeared toward the end for a couple minutes, returns. She holds out a hand with some coins in it. "You may have saved the Coster," she says. "I wasn't sure how much longer I'd be allowed to stay open with no sales. Please, take this as a reward for returning these goods." She offers the two platinum and five gold to Vondal. "And if there's anything I can do for you strangers while you're in Phandalin, just say the word. I have a small amount of weapons in a back room you can shop in if you like. Only those I trust know about it." She looks at Vondal again. "You asked about the Redbrands. Those menacing youths have been nothing but trouble. I wondered if they were the ones waylaying my shipments, but if you took this shipment from goblins, I guess my suspicions were wrong."
Nif let's out a rare smile that he only shows his close friends, at the women's delight. "It's no worries mam. As I said before we understand what hard times look like. So we are just happy to help"
Karl says to Linene "Ma'm Graywind, I found this 'ere sword and shield" showing her the sword and shield that he had borrowed from the Goblin cave "among what I know to be your goods when my club was broken. Old Sildar tried to teach me how to use it but it don't feel right. Perhaps you have an axe or hammer among your weapons that I could borrow instead and if it please you I wouldn't mind keeping this shield."
"Borrowed?" Linene looks hard at Karl, then catches herself, and her features soften. "Good dwarf, if they aided you in your ability to return my goods, I'm glad they were available. I'm not in the practice of lending weapons, so I'll need to ask you to return both the sword and shield. If you'd like to buy the shield, it will cost you 10 gold pieces. As for axes and hammers, I have some handaxes — five gold each — battleaxes are 10 gold each. I believe I have a great axe, which is 30 gold, but is two-handed, so you wouldn't be able to use a shield. Hammers ... I have a maul, which is kind of like a hammer, that is 10 gold — but also two-handed — and a warhammer, which is 15 gold pieces." As she finishes, her eyes begin to roam over the weapons of the others.
Karl looks at the woman and says "well tis like this, I've got 'em, the sword and the shield that is, and you ain't and what's more you didn't even recognise 'em as yours so the way I see it, tis your word 'gainst mine where they came from. Now I'm 'appy to return the sword cos it ain't really ny kinda weapon, but not the shield and then buy a Warhammer but I reckon there should be some sort of discount!"
Vondal finally comes out shock from recieving not one but TWO platinum! And five gold on top of that! Which was easily two to three months wages /at least/ back at the factory! "Uncle!"Vondal steps to the man. "There's no need for that sort of talk. A discount is one thing to ask for, but leave the threats and double talk for those Orcs and those bloody redbellies." He admonishes with his arms crossed and brows furrowed.
He then turns to the woman with an apologetic look. "My apologies, mam. He meant more goblin piss than black dragon spit by his words." He shoots Karl a mild glare. "And quite frankly, as generous a reward as these 2 platinum are, I fear that might be a tad bit too much for us worldly dwarves. How about instead of them, we take warhammer and shield and be consider square enough? It's a small loss to you, yes. But with the rest returned--"He holds out the 2 platinum coins. "--and compared to what could've been had they'd not been recovered, it's a net gain in the end for the long run."

Karl says to Vondal in Dwarvish "I wasn't threatening her! I was just talking to her like I would any merchant under my protection back in Neverwinter. The Redbellies - them I threatened!"
Linene glares at Karl as the others apologize and try to smooth things over. When Nif is finished, she says, still staring at Karl, "Wait. Here." She turns on her heel and walks through the room, disappearing through a door at the back.
Vondal had taken to combing a hand through his beard again. "If we're lucky, not long at all. Probably went to get her husband to deal with us at this point." He admits, chuckling weakly before inevitably sighing. "Oh Mya. Let it be as simple as such."

Linene returns, having only been gone a minute or so. (I wanted to give you all a chance to react and not just say you all stood there picking your noses while she was gone.) She marches forward, her eyes occasionally darting toward Karl, but mostly avoiding him. In her right hand, she carries a warhammer. As she reaches the four, she extends the weapon toward Karl. "I'll take the sword and the coins back," she coldly says to Vondal, "and you can be on your way."

(Dwarves don’t pick their noses - they use a bushman’s handkerchief).
Karl hands over the sword and takes the Warhamer and says ”ta, pleasure doing business wit ya.”
