“I am looking to trade in this fine quarter staff and purchase a short sword along with studded leather armor. Do you have these and are any of them say extra special? Nam smiles and tries to be as polite as possible. He gives a head nod to Garret.
//OCC: I was wanting sell my quarterstaff and buy a short sword. My wording sucks. Sorry.
Nam gestures to the leathers “I will take a set of the red leathers , a short sword, and 2daggers please.
Garrett looks over at the raven-haired woman and replies in thieves' cant "You may be right, but I'd rather have them at my back than anyone else. We've been through a lot together. Better than a babysitting job though. I hope the pay is good."
Across the room Flint sees an elven man and woman discussing rather animately holding between them the last healer's kit in the store but there's plenty of woodworker's tools at a table nearby!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
OOC: My apologies Going I read it wrong too!
Gilly moves from the staffs to the shortswords. "Apologies but we don't really take trade goods with woodwork," Gilly explained with a frown. "We do have these find short swords however made by my lady Tamara and one was even enchanted by my late father," she explains pointing to three swords. One has a leather hilt with a stone inset, another has a bone hilt with an iron pommel, and the third is finer steel than you've ever seen with etching on the blade in elvish with scrollwork on the hilt that looks like a cluster of branches made into a hilt and sits inside a locked glass case. "The first is a standard sword with a small embellishment for 15 gold, the second is slightly better aesthetically but still a true blade for 20 gold, and the third is the only enchanted blade we have left in our stores for 3000 gold pieces. It's called the Wayfinder's blade. The wielder will never get lost with it in their position," Gilly explains dreamily. "My late father..enchanted it years ago and no one yet has tried to wield it," she explained looking slightly annoyed. Now what can I get for you," she asks.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Pays well enough. Being a babysitter is a perk considering we got a map of the maze because of them," the raven-haired woman replied smirking then looks over her shoulder at Nam and Gilly. "Good luck eh? You're going to need it a lot more than me," she adds grinning at Garret before leaving the forge.

Nam looks to Gilly "as much as I would love to have the Wayfinder blade, I just don't have that much coin. But I will take the one for 20gp and 2 daggers will complete my purchases today." He smiles and gives Gilly a gentle pat on the back.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As Flint walks through the isles, he will start by picking up five of the normal sacks and one of the large people sized sacks. Then, walking through the store, he would place each of the items he wants to buy in the sacks before heading back to the halfling. He would first grab a Grappling hook, followed by Woodcarvers tools, one crowbar, five water-skins, and thirty days worth rations before placing the now full sacks on the counter. "I was hoping to purchase these items from you good sir! I was hoping to also pick up a healers kit or two but I didn't see any..." His voice would trail off as his eyes wander from the halfing to the animated conversation across the room. Spotting a healers kit and realizing that it appeared to be the last one, Flint would quickly turn back to the Clerk. "Hey! Uh.. I think I found a healers kit! I will be right back!" tapping his hand on the counter quickly before making his way to the kit. "Excuse me.. Shooting the two a big smile. It appears that the healing kits here are in high demand... I was hoping maybe two of you would allow me to purchase that kit myself." Flint would reach to his hip and pull out a leather pouch. "I would be willing to pay you both five gold a piece if you just permit me the chance to buy the kit... I cannot think of an easier way of making some quick coin..." He will say, turning his head from one to the other while he smiles and starts pulling coins from his pouch.
"Good to meet you both." Griff nods to each of them then turns his head to the giant canine below him "Her?... She doesn't really have a name i've been calling her Wolf mostly. They don't have names in the wild so it didn't make sense for me to give her one now." Griff gives Wolf a big Scratch. "You were saying there was a bog entrance? and that it lead straight to the centre? Where can I find that entrance, or the maze itself?" Inquires Griff.
"Daggers are 3 gold a piece," she adds pointing to a table of well made common daggers, four remain. "The leathers are 75 gold, 20 for the short sword, and 6 for two daggers..." She trails off doing the math, " that's 101 gold pieces please," she adds. "Green or the red," she asks pointing to the remaining armors.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Smiling the halfling begins ti weigh out your rations. "Enough for one person per day," the small stout man clarifies. Tallying up your order a halfling woman appears packing your gear with an unseen pair of hands helping her.
Moving to the party debating the merits of the kit the elf who's holding on to it chuckles.
"We aren't but it friend just debating the contents," he explains. "The halfling wasn't forth coming about them and says its only worth ten applicatios! At 12 gold that's steep prices," he adds handing it over ti Flint. "Hope it's worth it," he adds with.a curt nod.

"Many say our lord Cyric. It's true I think. The maze calls to us," Hendrick answers Isk's second question his eyes darting about before he grins. "Call on Cyric for guidance in the maze he might answer before your false God." Hendrick adds puffing out his chest proudly showing off his robes.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Geneva laughs. "Of course she needs a name," she says shakibg her head before stroking her hawks feathers.
"We're not much on choosing our competition," Finn says with a smirk. "You'll have to find an entrance that will open and that's all I'll say," he adds scratching his rough looking beard drawing attention to his throat.
Griff can see plainly Finn's throat has been slit before!!
Nam gladly hands over 101gp and takes the red leathers, a sword and the daggers. Excited, he puts on the armor, fastens the sheath to his side and tucks the daggers in his belt, one on each side. Nam checks the fit one last time and pulls his cloak over before heading to the general store.
Isk ignores the obvious Barb chalking it up to the innocent babble of the unenlightened saying, "I appreciate your candor, misguided though it may be. My last question, is there anyone nearby who has ventured into maze and returned alive?"
Seeing that Nam is finished Garrett approaches Gilly,
"I am interested in trading in my short bow as well as my barely used leather armor. How much will you give for them towards a new set of studded leather armor? As you can see these items are in excellent condition as I just started using them a short time ago. But I am looking to upgrade my armor in preparation for the maze."
"Thank youvery much" Flint says to the pair, grabbing the kit and taking it to the counter and placing it next to his other goods. "I think this should be everything I need..." Locking eyes with the halfling and shooting him a smile. As flint pulls out his pouch of gold he would count out the money owed and place it on the counter. Then a moment later, he would count out a small stack of 25 gold pieces.."I am willing to pay extra if you happen to know of an entrence to the maze.... Flint would say as the last gold piece clanks to the top of the stack
Karnic waits for Hendrick to answer Isk's last question before getting Isk's attention and showing him the items he found, "Hey Isk, I think this haversack and decanter will be quite useful to us in the maze. However, I am short about 200 gold to get both of them. Do you think you could help me out? I know it is asking a lot, so I'll understand if you refuse."

OOC: Get the decanter for sure... although I realize that I will just barley be capable of carrying the items I purchased from the general store so maybe a bag with months worth of food that doesn't weigh anything could be super useful as well lol.
Also, I don't exactly what I owe the halfling for my stuff..
Nam walks into the general store and spots Flint at the counter. He also notices the general store is packed with shoppers. You also notice walking in another metal man, this one the color of cobalt, is standing outside the front doors as you pass through.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
"Misguided? You come to challenge Cyric's maze and think I'm misguided! You are a bigger fool than I thought," Hendrick exclaims calling Sylas as well as the bronze man. Sylas excuses himself from a customer to go to Hendrick's side.
"Problem," Sylas asks looking curiously at Isk but before allowing Isk to speak further Hendrick hurries him out the door.
"This...person is leaving the shop," Hedrick says haughtily. "There are no campaigns who remain in the village nor have I or anyone here know a single one! It's not advertised who wins the maze! Those who have made a pact with whatever Cyric has chosen to govern the maze itself to keep tongues from wagging," he adds curtly. "Good day," he exclaims next turning his back on you Isk as the metal man takes steps towards the counter. The bronze man isn't threatening per say but the point is clear to move on!

OoC: that's 150 left from Flint and 8 left from my own pocket.
Immediately on entering the general store, Nam spots Flint at the counter and makes his way there. “Hey, my man! I see you have the same idea as I do. Food and water. I have 69gp left.” He says as he looks around the store.
