Isk takes a look around. "Karnic, I think pooling our resources is a great idea. I don't need to much and I have 308 pieces of gold I can offer to the party coffers."
Isk is looking for a Ring of Protection, Perception: 14 Investigation: 11
"We have many of the items you seek," the elf replies. "But not many you can afford," he adds with a frown. "I can usually read a person pretty well," he adds gesturing around the room to each of you. "We have everything a magic user might seek as well as those who need to remain....healthy in the maze," he adds slightly ominous.
His male human counterpart approaches the group next. He's older, slightly battle worn but smiles at the group.
"Sylas let's not scare the customers," he says brightly. "Alro Hendrick wizard, wanderer, and alchemist," the human says with a gesture of his arms out towards the shop. "If you've got the coin we have the item you seek," he adds curtly.
OOC:
@Wreck finds everything he seeks oddly enough but what can he pay for? Pick 3 items off you list. We'll negotiate prices! P.s. RPing helps loads!!
@Karnic you found the sack $250 but it's worn, 6 cards in a deck $150, and the decanter 250. Inspecting the items you realize they're used?!
@Gulity you find the ring its $350
@Going bag of holding $450 and dagger is $1000
@Paladin finds the gloves $750
@Rooster ?
Hendrick seems at first glance more a showman than wizard as his robes would suggest. The robes are covered in symbols too as are the Sylas' robes but different. Religion/arcana check to learn what. (Hendrick think Gildroy Lockheart and if you don't know who that is I'm sad for your loss. Sylas think a blue tinted Snape!!)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Flint will walk through the isles of the shop, stopping for a moment and picking up what appeared to be a magical lantern he was looking for. Then following the instructions of the Elf, he will make his way through the congested shop and grab a jug and ring before heading to the counter to check out. Flint will carefully place the the items on the counter, making sure he doesn't damage the goods that he has not yet paid for. Excuse me sir. I am interested in purchasing these fine items. " he would say to the clerk, removing his helmet and ruffling his hair with his leather gloved hand before locking eyes with the man. "I was Hoping maybe we could negotiate a price for these items to where we are both walk away happy. Shooting him a smile. You see, I really only want to BORROW these items until after we complete the maze. After we compete it I have no problem bringing the items back. Flint will take his eyes away from the Clerk to look around the room and make sure no one is paying attention to their conversation before continuing "Plus I have a sneaking suspicion that if I die in that maze that the items will make their way back on to your store shelves in no time" Flint will give him a big wink and lean in a little closer They tried to sell me a battered old shield that was some how recovered from the maze... and I know that normal items like that don't have nearly lifespan as magic items such as the ones in your store... so they way I look at it.... you are going to get these back one say or another... Flint will lean over the counter get towards the Clerk a little closer. "So can we make a deal?"He will say with a big smile, getting pretty close to the clerks face.

OOC: my rolls are still crap lol, insert fart sounds where my dialog goes
"We aren't in the habit of loaning things and frankly insinuating I haven't crafted these items myself is insulting," Hendrick exclaims huffily! "Price of the lantern sir is $350 gold pieces, the ring of water walking is $1250 gold pieces, and the jug of alchemy well that's $400," he adds firmly. "They...are superiorly crafted items that myself and my partner here would part with at those fair and honest prices," he adds curtly.

(OOC Griff left town as to not agitate the guards so he would not be able to find anything in the store. He is setting up camp,looking for tracks, and hunting/foraging for food while the team is shopping )
As Griff wanders the forest outside of town he and his wolf find no signs of the boys or their bodyguards. They stumble across another campsite however of another band of travelers. The mixed group of humans, half-elves, and a halfling invite him to their fireside and ask about the town's merit before heading in themselves.
"Heard strange things about the place," a human begins with a smirk. "The townsfolk don't leave and no one stays longer than a few days without being compelled to the maze or out of town again," he adds with a curt nod. "You pick an entrance yet," he then asks curiously. "We're favoring the bog to the south ourselves! Rumored to be a direct route to the center and the prize," he adds grinning as his companions nod or ignore the conversation equally as they eat, play cards, or clean their weapons.
The groups seems a rag-tag bunch. You spot a few ranged weapons and some melee as well. There's a half-elven woman with a staff that is studying you curiously but she doesn't engage. She remains seated with a hawk perched on her shoulder and a curious look on her pretty face.

OOC: I was going for the ring of jumping but I didnt specify that because I was dumb but at those prices I am not burying any of that stuff anyway lol!
Still leaning on the counter, the smile will fade from his face... "Don't you lie to me!.." Flint will whisper-yell to the clerk, quickly biting his lip and looking around to make sure is he still not being noticed before immediately locking his eyes with the clerk. I know exactly what you are doing, and ya know what! I would be doing the exact same thing If I were you! Flint hand would reach up and run through his hair before puling the cloth away from his eye revealing the terrible burn scars around his bloodshot and furious eye. Now are you going to cut me and my friends a deal or should I start letting everyone else here know about your business model....
OOC: Roll some sweet-sweet intimidation with advantage Wreck!
Sylas looks up from the people he's helping to the counter where Hendrick is talking with Flint just as a bronze metal man comes into the shop.
*cue ominous music*
Isk recognizes Hendrick's robes are filled with the symbols of Cyric while Sylas has Mystra's mark. Odd considering these Gods past with one another you think looking at the two unlikely partners in business!
Intimidation 6 the farts coming out of my mouth may smell... but are far from intimidating I guess..... this is where the shop cleric says I am causing problems and I get kicked out of town too...
"Thank's." Griff says to the entire group as he sits downs down beside the fire, his wolf beside him.
"I was only in town for a short while. From what I noticed the towns folk don't like to speak about the Maze much. The regular folk seem nice enough as long as you don't ask about the maze or start a brawl at a tavern. What strange things have you heard." Griff asks as he leans closer to the human. "The group i'm traveling with came here with only after hearing stories of the maze. We don't know much expect that the maze seems to be opening on the full moon tomorrow. What other entrances have you heard of?"He asks as he scratches the top of his wolf head and looks around the campsite.
(OOC: Griff will look around the campsite for anything out of the ordinary. Perception: 5 )
(Also OOC: haha Wreck, Flint just isn't a scary guy you have to accept it)
Rolling again for advantage on perception in Favourite Terrain (Forest) if this is a situation that calls for it Perception: 14
Hendrick sighs loudly at Flint's ploy to intimidate him and looks behind Flint at the city guard.
"I'm willing to overlook this...rudeness sir and sell you what I can at my fair and honest prices," Hendrick says pointedly loud. "That's my final offer," he adds his tone still loud and slightly hard as the metal man begins to move towards the counter as does Sylas.
"No,w now gentlemen," Sylas asks lazily with a sigh looking at Flint's hard face. "We're not having a problem are we," he asks glaring at Flint now.
Neither he nor Hendrick seem at all affected by your horrible scar. Flint might even see a glimpse of pitty in their handsome flawless faces as both men look at you as the bronze guard comes to the counter but says nothing just looks to Hendrick and Sylas as if for instruction.

Flint will put the cloth back over his eye and place the helmet back on his head. "No problems here friends" looking to each of the clercs and shooting them smiles before turning around and patting the metal man on the shoulder as he walks past... making his way towards the exit. On the way out he would stop and pull out 200 gold and give it to Isk. "Use this to buy something nice for Griff, yourself, or the team.... I will be heading to the general store if you need me" Flint would then disappear out the door and into the road, heading to the general store.
Griff has gatherer the following over the course of his life/days. The maze only opens on the full moon. The maze has 12 entrances each tricky in their own way. Many champions but none of known identity but it's rumored the Empire Aurelian himself's grandfather won the throne of Talamh from the maze! The maze has wonders: beasts, traps, and treasure beyond his wildest imagination! Also maybe getting food, A LOT of it, and water should be priorities!
