A woman walks up to the table, 2 young boys following her somewhat shyly. "Oh good. You have met our other 'out of town' visitors. I hate to interrupt, but my name is Danika, and I will be taking over serving so my husband Urwin can supervise the kitchen. Also, I was asked to pass along 2 invitations of sorts. The first is an invitation to the Festival of the Bleeding Sun tomorrow. The second is that Father Peterovich has asked to see you. He asked for each group separately, but, perhaps now that you have met, you could go together?"
Letharran looks over to the others, looks back at Danika, picks up his plate and shovels the rest of his food into his mouth with surprising speed, then looks back at Lae and says "Well, I'm ready." He then wipes his mouth with his forearm.
Lae stares mouth agape at the voracity at which Letharran just consumed the rest of his food. He takes his time finishing his meal remarking, "No need to rush... savor things like this meal while you can."
He finished and then says, "Alright, now all our bellies are full, I think we can move out."
"He can be found at the Church of St. Andral." She gives you directions on how to find the church, though such a building even in a town this size is not difficult to locate.
You mostly see houses on the way down the street towards the church, though you pass a couple of small food carts, one with fruits and one with pastries of some sort. You have also heard mentions of a toy shop in town, though it is not on your route to the church.
(Your characters have heard of this toy shop before, bit we might get to that later.)
You approach the church. This slouching, centuries-old church has a bulging steeple in the back and walls lined with cracked, stained glass windows depicting pious saints. A fence of wrought iron encloses a garden of gravestones next to the church. A thin mist creeps among the graves.

Would Lae know what order, or god the church is dedicated too? (as a cleric... religion check if needed 9)
The small frog man suddenly seems to return after a long line of thought, the glazed look suddenly disappearing. "Tis not I that lead you nor any other. It's just the universe exploring itself." "Hello fellow travelers. Do you know who you are?"

Lae frowns, "Um yes... I'm Lae... these are the brothers Smoothands... Uh.. Didn't we just do this?"
"I would be interested in hearing more of it, if you have the time." Letharran says, as he digs into his half eaten meal.

"Let's do it! Strength in numbers. We've been losing numbers, it'll be good to join together, I think. Let's go see Father Peterovich."
-We are all just one failed saving throw away from someone else's fantasy...
"He can be found at the Church of St. Andral." She gives you directions on how to find the church, though such a building even in a town this size is not difficult to locate.
"Thank you," Lae says as he gets up to leave to head to the St. Andral.
Side Note: Is there any interesting shops on the way over?
(What kind of shops are you looking for?)
Lae always likes food, or any local oddities.

Lae would def buy a bunch of pastries.. probably a golds worth.
(OOC: A toy shop sounds interesting! Not sure how to get us there as Lae wouldn't have a reason to go to a toy shop out of the blue, lol.)

As you step inside the building, you can clearly see the iconography of the Morninglord.
"This is a holy place friends," Lae says to the group, "We should be safe, but of course remain vigilant."
The small frog man suddenly seems to return after a long line of thought, the glazed look suddenly disappearing. "Tis not I that lead you nor any other. It's just the universe exploring itself." "Hello fellow travelers. Do you know who you are?"
"In this land, I suspect it's best to always remain vigilant." Letharran says half jokingly.
Lae frowns, "Um yes... I'm Lae... these are the brothers Smoothands... Uh.. Didn't we just do this?"
"Hmm.." Lae thinks, "Say, that brings something to mind. You haven't noticed anyone following you, or lurking in the shadows have you?"
Wijen smiles again and says "No, no, you seem unaware of the truth. You may need zen as well"
