The middle of 3 doors is the one he says holds the staircase. Opening the door, you find out he was correct. You climb the stairs single file and come to 2 doors at the top, one to the right and one to the left.
The door opens on a small room (15'x15'). This kitchen contains a square table surrounded by chairs and shelves of provisions (shelves are along the north and east walls of the room). A door leads north out of the room in the northwest corner of the room.
Lae, at the top of the stairs is a door to the right which was opened by Wijen and Letharran, revealing a kitchen which they have not yet entered, and a door to the left which is still closed.

The door on the left opens on a room that only goes 20' forward (east), but seems to extend off a good distance to the left (north), possibly similar to the main room downstairs. This large, drafty room is strung with cobwebs. Stacks of wooden planks lie amid several crates marked "JUNK".
You manage to open it and find it literally full of junk--old unimportant papers, some mementos from long ago, and other similar things, though nothing that would have any value other than personal value to the owner of the crate.
Wijen nods. "There is a lot of truth to that"
"I disagree... but come if you wish." Lae says solemnly.

"One door for each of us to open?" Letharran says, reaching for the door on the right.

Wijen stays behind the two of them still pondering the aesthetic of death in this place.

Lae heads straight through the door that leads upstairs/.
Zander and Zennas stay with the undertaker in case he tries something funny.
-We are all just one failed saving throw away from someone else's fantasy...
Lae, at the top of the stairs is a door to the right which was opened by Wijen and Letharran, revealing a kitchen which they have not yet entered, and a door to the left which is still closed.
Lae will open the closed door on the left.
The door on the left opens on a room that only goes 20' forward (east), but seems to extend off a good distance to the left (north), possibly similar to the main room downstairs. This large, drafty room is strung with cobwebs. Stacks of wooden planks lie amid several crates marked "JUNK".
Wijen becomes curious and goes to investigate the junk
(Assuming this is the "big room upstairs") Lae will search for the bodies that gave the undertaker orders.
There are 2 crates in the south part of the room just inside, and 6 more crates up toward the north side and the northwest side.
Lae, you also see the various crates and piles of wood planks.
Wijen attempts to open the nearest one
You manage to open it and find it literally full of junk--old unimportant papers, some mementos from long ago, and other similar things, though nothing that would have any value other than personal value to the owner of the crate.
Wijen trues to fin something well crafted but of no real monetary value.
Lae will pop open the second crate and proceed popping them open until he finds a corpse.
You pop the second one, which is likewise full of junk. You move to the other end of the room and open a crate that appears to be full of earth.
