As Kanus steps forward and sets himself ready for fighting with the skeletons Gargan moves behind the paladin, keeping to his right hand shoulder, before he whispers into the air and gestures towards one of the skeletons. A shadowy hand materialises as Gargans chill touch spell takes effect, trying to rake at the undead creature with it's shadowy digits.
Movement: Keeping behind Kanus but one square to the right(if possible)

Cloudfur
Cloudfur stands besides Kanus, looks at him, looks at the skeletons, looks at his staff, looks back to Kanus and whispers "she lay lay!" and giggles under his breath, then licks his staff which glows briefly with power (shillelagh) and bounds off towards the leftside Skeleton which he deftly cracks across the back with his staff
Gargan walks up slowly, planting his feet in the snow one at a time. Closing his eyes and reaching out his arm, the icy, decaying hand stretches out it towards the skeleton. The creature shrieks as it approaches and tries to duck out of the way but is too slow. It claws across the front of it's body and sends it's jawbone flying into the snow. It looks up in anger just in time for it to dodge the rock flying towards it's head.
Kanus runs up, planting his feet, weapon ready for a fight, just as Cloudfur comes running from behind him, dashing forward and crushing the skeleton on the right through it's torso, separating it into 2 halves. It falls to the ground.
(Cloudfur needed a dash to get there and could only reach the right one, but is first in the next round so I assumed a dash and then attack for the next turn. You still have a bonus action and movement if you like. Otherwise Jack's up before the baddies go).

Jack
"Shoot! Okay, I still got Ducky and Rocky left. Kanus-..."She pats Kanu's on the shoulder. "Five Silvers says you can't strike one down in a single blow."Jack teases and gives him a playful punch in the puldron as she steps off to the side a little to throw second out of three enchanted stones at the remaining skeleton. "Get'im, ducky." She says in a terse whispers as stone flies in the air.
Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration to Kanus(d6).
Once within the next 10 minutes, the creature can roll the die and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw it makes. The creature can wait until after it rolls the d20 before deciding to use the Bardic Inspiration die, but must decide before the DM says whether the roll succeeds or fails. Once the Bardic Inspiration die is rolled, it is lost. A creature can have only one Bardic Inspiration die at a time.

Actually feline agility would get me there without using my action to dash :)
Ah! So you can. In that case you still have a bonus action, and can take your next turn as well.
There are (were) two skeletons outside - the other 3 went in probably 10-15 minutes ago. They could be just inside, or deep in a crypt beneath the mausoleum; you aren't sure.
Kanus eyes lit up at Jack's offer of a bet, "I'd be happy to separate you from your silvers m'lady" he says with a wink and a grin, then in a flash of movement contrary to his age Kanus takes off in a sprint toward one of the still standing skeletons, as he enters the creatures space he parries a weak attempt at an attack from the creature with his shield and then swings his Axe down on the creature! (ooc: The parry is just thematic)
If his attack hits then this is what happens:
Kanus attack strikes the skeleton and as it does a bright flash of light emanates from the point of contact along the ribs of the skeleton. Tiny white cracks of light can be seen spidering from the axes blade, they begin to pulse and then eventually grow to envelope the entirety of his foe. This white column of light then extends beyond the skull of the skeleton and arc upward several feet. After merely a breath tiny flecks of gold begin raining down the column of light rapidly, penetrating the bones of the skeleton, leaving tiny divots and scorch marks where they strike.
Attack: 23 Damage: 10
Bardic Inspiration Die if total rolled is less than 13 but greater than 9): 4
If skeleton is hit first level Smite against undead: 8
(OOC - my bonus action from the first turn would have been casting shillelagh)
Are both skeletons down then? If so Cloudfur will try to peek in to the open crypt to see if he can see anyone before taking any other actions just yet
Kanus's strike does leave tiny divots and scorch marks, but you can't tell because the pieces of the former skeleton are now all over the place.
Cloudfur steps up to the door and pulls it open. inside you see a roughly 50x50' room. A lamp on the wall has been lit, providing a dim source of light. There are 6 sarcophagi lining either side of the room, flanking a short set of stairs that lead down to another room which is more brightly lit. At the top of the stairs, having heard the brief commotion outside, stand the other two skeletons. Just beyond them you can can see the robbed figure kneeled, facing away ensconced in some sort of ritual, but the rest of the room isn't visible from where you're standing.
I'm keeping the initiative order, since you're at the top anyway. Gargan can act as well, with Jack following before their turn comes back up.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Cloudfur's tail starts twitching back and forth and he extends one paw forward pointing a finger at a point between the two skeletons and if possible the necromancer if they are all within 10 feet of each other. (I'll accept just the two skeletons if I can't get the necromancer as well) and under his breath you hear him go "poof!" as he casts flaming sphere.
A large 5 foot diameter sphere of flame appears between them! any creatures who end their turn within 5 feet of the sphere must make a DEX Save (DC12) or take 7 fire damage (half on a successful save)
Jack snaps then shakes her fingers at Kanus. "Night still young for a double or nothing."She flashes a toothy grin at Kranus, then on the back of the words "Lick-a-da-split!" she rushes to the doorway, or at least close enough to it to spy the remaining skeletons on a mysterious breeze. With a flick of the wrist, Jack sends her last stone soaring at the one. And if it should fall, she pulls out a katana; whose blade seems to drink in every bit of light nearby it.
Bonus Action: Expeditious Retreat to immediately Dash if necessary to get in visual range of the skeletons on top of regular movement.
"You call it Lady Jack!" Kanus wasn't out of breath, but adrenaline did cause his voice to come out hastily as he moved toward the crypt door. He watched from behind Cloudfur popped off his spell, and then pushed just inside the doorway himself to block the exit, readying his axe once more to attack any creatures that would come within range.
The two skeletons dive in opposite directions, managing to mostly avoid the blast from Cloudfur. Jack runs up and hurls her last rock straight into one of it's eye sockets, exploding out the back of it's head. It reels back with a screech, struggling to stay standing. After steadying itself against the wall it turns back and both skeletons run towards Cloudfur with their Swords held high. The injuries prove too distracting and the first swings wide, but the second one connects. Your armour absorbs a good amount of the impact but the force still deals 4 damage.
Behind and down the stairs you can see whatever is illuminating the area grows much brighter, and the figure brings his arms together in front, and then raises them up in the air. You hear more commotion down there but can't see anything else.
Back to you guys. It's about 40' to the stairs, which extend down maybe 3 steps into the other area.
