Klarth eyes the narrow bridge warily. "This looks like a perfect place to set a trap or an ambush. Be alert." Klarth, feeling he is the best equipped to handle either scenario, will lead the others. Shield up, head on a swivel, he makes his way across the bridge.
Klarth nods to Zenashi and notes the weird spot in the bridge. He will stop short of the suspected trap and ask if anyone can tell what it is and disarm it.
"I may be able to disarm it, but I'm more used to snares and the types of traps hunters use. I'll give it a shot, unless any of you have a better idea?"
DMs note: Feel free to spitball any ideas you or your character may have. I'll give you a reward in game if you come up with something that would work. Otherwise, you can let Farukh roll for it.

Zenashi whispers hold let me investigate further the bridge i was 10 ft away. When i saw the plate, also on the top a slit above. Zenashi points at the slit showing farukh.
"If it is a pressure plate, we could try to trigger it somehow." Klarth looks around, searching for anything that looks suitably heavy to roll/throw onto the pressure plate.
Klarth motions to Zenashi. "We are running out of time. Roll it onto the plate." Klarth will help Zenashi if necessary to roll the dead goblin down the path and onto the pressure plate to see if the weight will trigger a trap.
Klarth is running out of patience and he is sure that little Bess is running out of time. When nothing happens, he looks back at Zenashi and the others, then turns and runs, leaping over the goblin and hopefully the plate, trying to land on the other side of it. He will hold his shield over his head as he jumps, in case anything shoots out of the hole above.
(Klarth takes a running start and tries to jump over the pressure plate... trips and falls flat on his face! A *click* is heard as the pressure plate is triggered and a Giant Scythe comes dropping down! By sheer dumb luck, Klarth being flat on the ground prevents him from getting sliced up. Zenashi is still in a point on the bridge where the blade may be able to reach him, but he is prepared.)
Zenashi, make a Dexterity Saving Throw (a d20+4) but with Advantage. Make sure to choose advantage on the drop down menu.
(The blade swings quickly but Zenashi manages to get out of the way. The rest of the party is back enough away that they are not in imminent danger. The blade swings back a few more times, slowing down with each pass, until it stops in the middle of the bridge. The party quickly moves forward to cross the bridge. Once they're on the other side, the clicking of some gears moving is heard and the blade goes back into the slit in the ceiling. The trap has apparently reset. Galaerys speaks up.)
"Well, that could have gone a lot worse. I think I'll compose a song about how your klutziness saved the day, Klarth."
(Galaerys smiles to make it clear he's joking.)
"The Ballad of Klarth the Klutz... catchy!"
(At the end of the bridge, you all see a slightly open door like the one you just came thru. As you peer inside, you see a large Bugbear, a kind of super Goblin, who may be the leader. He looks pretty tough, with thick furs and armor, and a giant Warhammer over his shoulder. Next to him, a regular Goblin in robes stands before a makeshift altar, chanting words that appear to be part of a ritual.)
"The Girl!"
(Galaerys has apparently seen something you all missed, but he has informed you all that Bess is also in the room, in the corner where it's harder to see. He also mentions there's another Goblin guarding her.)

Klarth whispers to the others, “Get the girl. I’ll take care of the robed one.” He heads directly for the chanting goblin, brandishing his mace. Killing him will stop the ritual and save the girl, he thinks. He attacks.

Zenashi mentions to klarth the differences in the bridge just incase.

Zenashi then says; What about one of the dead goblins??

Klarth grins at Zenashi. ”That would work perfectly.”
Zenashi then grabs one of the fallen goblins and waits for the ok from farukh.

Zenashi rolls the dead goblin onto the plate backing away cautiously. What next my friend??

Klarth waits to see if the weight of the goblin will trigger the trap.
(Zenashi cautiously rolls the Goblin onto the pressure plate, ready to step back quickly...
...
But nothing happens.)
What do you all do?

Acrobatics?: 19
((Welp, this is probably gonna hurt. Ugh.))
Zenashi investigates further. Maybe we should put them all on it. They may not be heavy enough??

(Klarth rushes in, but the element of surprise is gone as the door made noise. The Bugbear and the Goblin are both ready for you all.)
