"There! Hold on, what's that!" Devin cries out loud as he sees the small pouch. Dropping his shovel he waves for Mullo to stop. Reaching down he picks up the small bag and opens it, as he whispers the words to Detect Magic and looks inside the pouch.
Despite the earlier assertions, D.O.R.K still kept the broken glass and worm parts pouched away; her being yet hopeful of examining more later. She otherwise stayed devoted to the cause even as other discoveries are made later on.
"It is possible that there are multiple items of a similar nature buried in here. And that a gold tooth of any significant value to a giant would indeed be of a larger size."D.O.R.K further affirmed, pausing at last, if only to glance about for a varying angle to dig. "Side note: Thank you again for previous insights, Shaman Mullo." She notes aloud as she got back to digging once more."

"No tooth, just a fine greyish sand that is radiating magic of the Illusion school. It may have some other purpose but what I do not know. Though I know there is a spell that can be used to identify such thing it was something I was never able to master and cannot do myself. Perhaps the sand itself places an illusion on the contents of the bag." Devin picks his shield up from where he laid it down close by in order to use the shovel and feeling his perceptive abilities heighten he tries to see if he can see past any illusion to what may be in the bag.
I do find the picture of Devin hanging onto his shield whilst simultaneously trying to peer into a leather sack somewhat amusing so I'm going to rule that he simply has to be touching the shield or wearing it strapped to his back to get the effect but that's magic for you - nobody says it has to be logical.
Anyway as Devin peers into the sack he says "this weighs more than I would expect a bag of what likes dust to actually weigh?"
D.O.R.K stops again and looks between everyone else, before then simply shaking her head. "I am afraid such blessings are outside the breadth of what's been bestowed upon me... Unlike Torunn."Her voice softened at the name. But then after a moment's pause, she shakes her head and turned away to continue digging around, but would add over her shoulder, "You can try to test and see if the dust behaves similar to the other one we acquired, but it in a more limited capacity. Otherwise, if its properties are of illusion, I see no reason why you cannot root around without fear of harm. Just be mindful to try not to spill too much of the contents if it may yet prove useful."

Devin shrugs. "Ok, we can't use magic to identify it, so I'll try the old fashioned way. But I won't dump it all out." Devin looks at the small back and then sticks a finger in it swishing it around and hoping to feel something more than just the dust.
"Well, something is in here, so let's see what it is." Devin says and then begins to pour the contents of the small bag into his right hand. He does it slowly, letting the sand sift through his fingers, enough to let sand through but nothing bigger.
"Uh, yeah, this dust makes things invisible. But there is something here, I just can't uh, well you know, see it." Devin says. "Hold on." With his other hand he lays the bag down and then makes an arcane motion over his invisible hand and mutters a few words casting Dispel Magic. "Hopefully that works."
Mullo exhales a long breath. "We've found it," she says to herself, but aloud. She looks around at the others. "Let's take this back to the temple," she says in a tone that indicates her mind is made up.
D.O.R.K finally stops her digging and looks over to Mullo. "Have we? This is good."She looks to the turned up earth. "... I suppose there's no point in refilling the holes however, as such an action might be misinterpreted. But, I believe I would like to return at some point to make some amendments." She freely admits, before then gradually climbing her way out of whatever dugout the group had made thus far.
"Back to the ship then, and then to the temple. Though there is one stop I wish to make, retrieving the weapon-.."She looks meaningful to Devin. "-will have to wait. As for the fate of the prisoner, it... shall be postponed for a day more."The construct further asserted on the way back to the ship to get things underway.

Ebonitus snaps out of his reverie. "Oh, we are leaving then? Which way is the wind blowing?" he asks of no-one in particular. "If we can't get the airship moving in the direction we want to go, what do we do?" He picks up the tools and looks longingly around, before steeling himself to get back aboard the airship.

As Devin looks inside the pouch he can see that it seems to be some sort of very fine greyish sand that is radiating magic of the Illusion school.

"It is too small for a giant's tooth, isn't it?" Mullo asks, watching Devin peer into the bag.

If Mullo is looked at, she gives a tiny shake of the head, still more interested in the bag than anything.

(OOC - Sorry for the delay in responding but the D&DB editor refused to load yesterday)
Devin feels around in the sack. Much to his surprise there is certainly something buried deep with in.

As Devin pours the dust into his right hand, his hand disappears from sight but then he feels - but can't see it - something heavy fall into his palm.

"Oh!" Mullo says, seeing Devin's hand disappear. "Are you ok?" she asks, still watching the bag.
As Devin's spell takes effect he finds himself holding a large tooth which barely fits in the palm of his hand.
