As Devin, Jaylen and Meiva continue talking to Sydiri they hear a banging on a door and the two guards that had been assigned to follow Toruun and Beedo come back and one of them whispers in Sydiri’s ear. She turns to the three party members and says “perhaps you could explain why two of your party members have seen fit to lock my guards out of one of the rooms in their own castle.”
The sound of metal clacking against wood before being dropped on the ground well in advance of Vark's rush into the Grand Hall. He eventually falls face first in front of the group, and takes another few moments to catch his breathe. "Boss... Trouble... Thinking... Woof..." Vark climbs back to his feet and sucks in a deep breathe. "Woo!... Strangers in Black in Town Square. Boss not trust. Not Goblins. Different people. Other woman talk'n to them with Blik and Flik.." He breathes in deep again. "Boss Lady sayz play safe."
As he starts to finally breathing easier he looks around in confusion. "Beedo?" He questions the group.

Devin finds the ladder bridge not too far from the keep door, explaining the source clacking prior to Vark's entrance. So, it may take some time getting it set up... unless he and the others wish to simply jump the gap from a higher angle.

Meiva winces, closing her eyes at Devin's outburst. When the group leaves for the square, Meiva follows, checking her dagger, shortsword, and shield as she goes.
As the party turns to leave the Great Hall, Sydiri turns to Torem and Kaelen and says "you two go with them and see what's what and for Tempus' sake do a better job than you did trying to follow the dwarf and goblin!"At this point hearing Devin's shout Toruun and Beedo emerge from the Library. Sydiri turns to the remaining guard and says "talking of which, go and check out what damage those two" pointing at Toruun and Beedo "have done in the Library!"
The now enlarged party by the addition of the two guards leaves the keep and makes it way down the bridge. As they approach the gap they realise that Vark has in accordance with D.O.R.K.'s instructions completely dismantled the temporary bridge and rope that they had originally used to make their way across in the first instance.
Beedo clutched his chest in feigning an over the top hurt expression. "We ain't done nuthin, ya dire halfling. Just a little 'xplorin. A little read'n. Some think'n on thievin'."The last part her mutters under his breath while looking away. Seeing the Vark shoot him a disapproving looking before chasing after the others, Beedo just rolls his eyes and start motioning Torunn on after the others.
To no one's surprise, Beedo has questions about what's going on and so on. Vark fields one in a monosyllabic fashion about D.O.R.K. But the rest he brushes off to start immediate work on putting the bridge back together. "Why da nine? Ya wrecked the bridge! Ya know how long dats gonna take to put back?"Beedo complains as he rushes over to help. Vark just shoots a glare at him before going back to work. "Tits. This goin' take a minute. You tall folks'll prolly be better off jump'n for it."

"Boss Lady -- Mmn! Boss Lady not so clear on dat. Only send warning." Vark says expresses as he got into the ropes. "Told me to undo bridge, in case danger come here. Me think'n … she worried 'bout you guyz not have'n much big magic juice if riders be bad. So.. you... uh.. hold up here, I guess."He said, having to stop for a moment to explain. "Like dem roof bastids?" Beedo pipes in.
To which, Vark nods and goes on, "Like said tho'. They jus talk'n last. Whole thing my skin crawl tho'."He says before getting back to work.

It takes about 5 minutes for Vark and Beedo (under the guidance of Toruun) to quickly reassemble the bridge. It is a DC 5 (Acrobatics test) for the party members to make their way across safely.
I need crossing order and tests for those who are not automatic (Jaylen, Meiva, Toruun, Beedo? & Vark?)
Vark darn near sprints across first as soon as construction is complete: only really pausing on the other side to wave the others over before taking off again. "Ah-what the-wait up, Speedy-gone-with-the-wind!"Beedo calls out after him, but doesn't give chase. Instead, if he receives any odd looks, he'll just point to Torunn and go, "Boss Lady I watch'em, so that's just what I'mma keep doin'." On that note, he settles for going last after making sure Torunn crossed safetly.
(@other PCs For clarification, using the new Sidekick Statblocks for Vark and Beedo. Both of which would pass even on a 1 with their respective athletics and acrobatics)

This time around, Meiva is not nearly as worried. Nevertheless, she crosses slowly, arms outstretched for balance and a look of immense concentration on her face.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Crossing the Bridge & in the Village Square
1) The agreed party order, not without some remonstrations from that arch show-off Beedo who now doubt wanted to demonstrate his mastery of acrobatics, is as follows: Vark, Toruun, Meiva, Devin, Torem, Kaelen, Beedo and Jaylen. 2) All of the party including the Guards [Torem's attempt (DC 5 - 10) & Kaelen's attempt (DC 5 - 10)] make it across safely, it is difficult to say who was the most stylish but eventually the judges award the victory to Jaylen for her stylish dismount. 3) The party make their way down the straight avenue towards the Village Square and as they approach the square they see seven humanoids of various races (Dwarf, Goliath, Halfling, Half-Orc;2 x Humans and a Tiefling), wearing black leather and all mounted on black horses, or ponies as appropriate, accompanied by Kella (accompanied by Blik and Flik) who is in deep conversation with one of the humans, obviously the leader, approach the Livery Stable where Vark had said D.O.R.K. was hiding. 4) The party sees one of the largest of the humanoids - a Goliath dismount from his horse (if such a large beast can be called a horse) - and march up and bang on the door. At the same time the group leader yells out "Wonder Woman or whatever your name is - I suggest you come out as we want to talk to you." 5) From within the stable the party hears back - albeit somewhat muffled - "Clarification. I am a Designated Operative of the Red Knight. But you may call me D.O.R.K. State your name and business first, and your request shall be considered. Do not, and you will be treated as hostile."

She turns to the three party members and says “perhaps you could explain why two of your party members have seen fit to lock my guards out of one of the rooms in their own castle.”
DM - Stopping a god in his tracks
"Uhh, nope. Probably couldn't answer that. "
Devin responds, giving the guards a funny look.
"But since it's your castle don't you have the keys?"
At Devin's question one of the Guards pipes up and says "the door is not locked as such Sir, rather it seems to be barricaded!"
DM - Stopping a god in his tracks
Devin laughs out loud.
"Well I cannot help you then. I barely know the dwarf having met him just a few days ago."
Looking to the other two,
"D knows him best. Hopefully she'll return soon. Any ideas? "

Devin looks down at the goblin. "Long story. "
Then casting Thaumaturgy he yells, his voice 3x louder,
"Torunn! We need you in the town square!"
Hoping the dwarf can hear him he then turns to the guards. In a normal voice,
"You better come with us, this is your town. Let's see who these new people are."
Devin then turns to leave, heading for the town square.

Devin stops short at the gap where the makeshift bridge had been, a frustrated look on his face.
He looks to the goblin,
"If D sent you for help why did you take the bridge apart? Were they hot on your heels or something?"
He then watched as the goblins tried to put the bridge back together.
"What was going on down there, do we have time to wait?"
(Sorry for the delay there, Paladin x.x)

Letting out a big "Wooohoooo!" as he follows vark, running across the bridge.
This time around, Meiva is not nearly as worried. Nevertheless, she crosses slowly, arms outstretched for balance and a look of immense concentration on her face.
Acrobatics: 19
And that's all I have to say about that.
If allowed, Jaylen will cross last, praying for guidance before attempting.
Acrobatics: 19
Guidance: 4
Devin quickly follows Meiva across the gap and beckons for the 2 guards to follow him.
