No answer. Not initially, at least, as D.O.R.K seemed very much 'paralyzed' with indecision. She's already offered some plan of action, even if it boiled down to a 'wait and see'. To which, there'd been no rejections. Finally, some light returns to her eyes as she looks to Beedo. "Inquiry for Acolyte Beedo: With their numbers lessened, do you believe you can sneak back inside and investigate the left side of the cave without being spotted? Additional inquiry: If so, will you do this for us? I am afraid that this would be a mission you take on your own, as Vark's armor would only increase likelihood of being discovered."
Beedo's Survivalist Save(DC 5): 7. (Note: He has to fail it in order to agree for those curious)
Beedo starts sweating bullets, and looks frantically around to everyone. Finding no opinions there -- or at least, none he cares much for -- except Vark's own 'don't do it' headshakes, the goblin lets out a drawn out groan. "Seventy-Thirty-..."
"Deal." D.O.R.K immediately interjects, much to the goblin's surprise. Immediately after he's squinting at her, before finally sighing and muttering a string of curses in goblin. Taking his curses as a sign of agreement, she further enhances his defenses, and bids him goodbye with an attempt 'kiss' to the forehead, much to the goblin's further confusion.
But he sneaks off down again and into the cave if the entrance at least appears unguarded. If any wished to offer him further blessings, he accepts without complaint.
Realizing the others have decided to camp out rather than make sure no more innocents are harmed, Lukian sets his sights on protecting Golem. As he waits for the orogs to pass by the elephant, he will silently petition Lathander on whether those he is traveling with are the right ones to help him accomplish the goal set before him. He will also be prepared to cast deafness on Golem if the elephant starts to get anxious as the orogs approach and pass. After they pass, he will continue to track them to find out where they are going and what they are doing.
"With the main force gone, we should be able to reenter the cave ourselves and find these lost people we seek. Let's see what Beedo scouts and then try and fulfill our mission before that large group returns."
(@All: Lukian leads him so well into the woods that the too wind up in the Feywild! Where they spend the next 20 years on that side trying to find their way back, only to return and realize only ten minutes have passed on the material plane. XD)
"...Pray he finds not but corpses then, Acolyte Devin, so that this become a destroy mission. For depending upon their number and status, we will not be able move them swiftly enough to avoid pursuers inevitably catching up, and us being caught between protecting them and defending ourselves." D.O.R.K turns and looks up to him. "You cannot have it both ways and be unburden by the consequences. Without risks."

Torunn turns to the group, "I think I need to commune with Gond for a few moments." He slings his musket over his shoulder and finds a quiet places to sit by himself. He then pulls out a small dish, places an assortment of powders from his satchel and ignites it. A smoke with a scent of sulphur is released and Torunn takes a breath and closes his eyes.
After short period of time, Torunn heads back to the group. "OK guys, I think we need to do something. We have promised help, and we shame our gods by hiding as we are. Gond has told me test my inventions, and my musket is feeling rather cold. So when Beedo returns , I think we should continue what we promised and find that boys grandfather. Whether that means going after the Orog party or returning to the cave." Torunn turns to D.O.R.K and with a grin and a wink says, "And this time Red, maybe no torches unless we want another nasty surprise, I am pretty sure we have enough here who can see in the cave to allow some form of stealth. I can't be known as the dwarf eaten by a rock!"
OOC: DM if you choose to elect that Torunn is finished communing with Gond at the same time as Beedo returns, we can roll with that.
D.O.R.K just stares up at Torunn, and for such a length that Torunn would get the feeling if she could blink at all, she would've slowly done so following that last comment. "Firstly, You would have me walk in blind, and flail around in the dark Brother? Because I do not believe I can hold anyone's hand, and hope to be all that effective. And time spent creating or drawing forth a light source may result in a critical moment being missed."She simply stated.
"If, however, you wish me not to go, I would understand, and intend to hold any returning Orogs here for as long as I am able."She added; without an ounce of sarcasm or lack of conviction in her tone, only resignation at her potential fate. She then return to looking to her knees, the light in her eyes again dimming. "Beedo and Vark will of course join you inside, as well as Lukian, if he is willing, as you four are the only ones that would be even remotely effective in dark... In either case, whether we face the returning party or go is up to the others. I have voiced my stratagems. It is now up to the rest of you... Because I can no more force any to follow as you can convince me to dismantle my fellow acolytes."
"Well, I'm willing to go back in and deal with the three that are left but if you don't want any light sources I'll stay out here with D. I certainly don't want to stumble around in the dark and run into any nasty surprises."
Torunn thinks for a moment before responding. "Ok maybe we shouldn't head inside in pure darkness. I underestimated how many people we have with good vision. Lets just be more careful and keep an extra eye out as we will be telling our position."
Torunn then turns to DORK, "Red, do you think one of your acolytes could stay here and keep watch, in the event that Lukian returns and wonders where we have gone? Ideally we could all wait but it would be best to make use of the opportunity we have by the orogs leaving."
D.O.R.K looks to the goblins, seeming to consider the request for a moment. "A dangerous proposition.... but, a necessary adaption to our current situation. Vark will remain here, as Beedo will be able to directly guide us as necessary once we're inside." She stated, as she rose to stand along with the others.
(@All: I would post more, but awaiting on any other discoveries made by Beedo.)

After about six or so minutes Beedo's returns from his scouting. As he is telling D.O.R.K. and any body else who wants to listen - over to you Orileo - Lukian quietly rejoins the party.
After much embleshment of his heroics, narrow escapes, talk of slaying at least thirty Orogs before making his escape, and general expected chattering out of the goblin, the group are informed of several things upon either D.O.R.K's, Vark's, or perhaps someone else's interruption of the initial story:
There were at least 4 Orogs left in the cave, and last he saw, the idiots were kicking at the tentacle monster that attacked the party.
He didn't see any old man, but he did find a Giant Rat Nest.
There was some kind of stream flowing into the cave from the south, but he didn't investigate it on account of the deadly, deadly, DEADLY cave fish supposedly lurking in its depths, waiting for the day that it snaps up poor Beedo.
He draws in the dirt a rough layout of the cave as he saw it, with D.O.R.K add in some details from her findings, marking things as they went.
There was some side comment at the end about some side junction having been blocked off that Beedo completely brushes off 'Fook'in Deadly Gases or somethin behind it'.
(Assume the below map is more stick figures than an actual map.)
Blue Circle -> Sleeping Area Green Circle -> Food Bin Giant Rat Nest Red Arrows -> Evil Water. Don't Touch or look at or do anything with!(According to Beedo) Brown Arrow->Closed Off Junction that totally means nothing(According to Beedo) Orange Arrow-> Dum Dums and Evil Rock
After all is said and done, D.O.R.K's ending note is, "It is one more than expected. But we can four of them. If we come quick, we should be able to blitz them. Maybe if corner them where they don't want to be. Either way, if they try to flee down the corridors, we will be at the advantage, rats or no. Once they are dealt with, we can check that closed off junction. Perhaps there is gas. Or perhaps that is where they are keeping their prisoners. And if not there, then-... We will prepare ourselves to lay down another ambush. Are there any objections?"

The whole time Beedo is talking, Lukian appears distracted, excited, and only quiet out of courtesy — not because he's listening. As soon as there's a break, the elf says, "My lord Lathander revealed to me that we are in the wrong place. We need to go that way," he says, pointing up the eastern slope of the hill.
D.O.R.K cocks her head to the side. "Inquiry: To find the grandfather? This operative requires some clarification prior to our proceeding, as we have already consumed a great deal of time in scouting and... hesitation as is." She bowed her head on that last point. While Vark seemed curious, and even squint up at the hill, Beedo, on the other hand, was moreso looking incredulous about the whole thing. "Ya fook'in let me go at-... Ba!"He started, only to stop and kicks at the dirt, feeling as if he risked his neck for nothing.

Ignoring the goblin, Lukian answers Dork. "He said the morning light would reveal all, and when I turned, a sunbeam had broken through the clouds and was illuminating a pile of rocks up there," he says, motioning again.

As Beedo gets up to move into the cave, Devin reaches out and lays his hand on his shoulder and whispers some quiet words.
"May the Lady's Guidance go with you brave one."
