"Are there any other entrances to this complex and is there anywhere else within this complex that we need to be wary of? We know about the roper and the piercers to the east of the main cavern (assuming North is top of map), but is there anything else? Oh and one more thing, if we kill the creature from the pit, will the other orogs respond more positively towards us or will we need to kill them too?"
"Nothing else in the cave system I know of!"Birute responds. "As to just killing the fiend I'm afraid not. Prince Charming and Snow White have got them under their sway too much. You'll have to kill all the Orogs!"
"Let us concentrate on killing the fiend first then. Hopefully its death will break the hold and maybe the others will see that survival is better." Devin remarks.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As the others talk to the female orog, Torunn searches around the cavern, looking for anything that may be of use for the upcoming fight or hidden away. He will also keep his eyes out for any signs of a secret entrance/exit.
Upon finding Lukian and relaying the news Beedo hardly waited around for the elf to settle up matters with the halflings the moment any of them give him funny looks. He especially has no interest in following any suggestions about escorting them home, and would point out in his typical loquacious manner the sheer silliness of the attempt, as the fastest and safest route would technically be the main road. The very same road, he would remind, was said to be where the 'Piggies' had likely pushed on according to the Den Mother. Nevermind the weird human faced hounds AND lycanthropes AND whatever other troubles might be lurking enroute to the city.
So, unless Lukian offered some kind of reasonable plan within the first minute of his being there, Beedo leaves the elf to further deal with the halflings.
In the meantime, seeing that Dork wouldn't be 'done' anytime soon with her planing, Vark joins Torunn in the search. Though whenever or if ever the Dwarf got any ideas of approaching the areas they hadn't visited personally, he rather pointedly gets in the dwarf's way and firmly shakes his head.
(@Zip & Grant: Assuming you'd allow it, Vark will be helping Torunn so that he can roll again for advantage.)

As Beedo walks away, Lukian turns to the halflings. "It looks like it isn't safe for you to return home today. You have two choices: You can remain here while I return to help the others surprise the orcs upon their return, or you can return with him and fight along side us."
"Or you can return with him and fight along side us"
"Never been known to say no to a good fight, the lads and I could even provide some indirect fire support as it looks like there are plenty of rocks around here" Old Pert says. His daughter just looks at him and rolls her eyes whilst shrugging her shoulders resignedly and wagging a finger says "if'n you get hurt don't come to me looking for sympathy!"
Lukian leads the halflings back to the cave complex. As they enter into the complex, Old Pert spots Birute and says "how did you survive. When the Orogs led by that beast came raiding I assumed that you and your mate had been killed?" To which Birute replied "the scum killed my mate and tried to get me and the cubs but after being sent away with a bit more of flea in their respective ears decided to leave us alone."
(OOC: Pls indicate if there are any changes to the map otherwise we move forward to the moonrise tommorow night on my next post.
I'm planning to be melee, so I should be closer. Perhaps up on that small ledge on the right crouched behind the stalagmite so that I can jump out and attack from behind when the orcs all head to the left?
When Torunn is happy that the caltrops are scattered through the entrance, and they are covered enough to be hidden, he will just clean his musket muttering prayers to Gond.

Ready Setty Go!
As the party sets up for the ambush (see map) the halflings are hiding in the rocks with one on top of the tower the moon begins to rise when (were the raiders successful - 25% chance - [59] there is the call of an owl (the agreed signal that the raiders are returning).
(OOC - pls look at the map and advise where you all are? who has light? etc.)
((I'm assuming we get a long rest?))
Yes - you all get a long rest.

"How will we recognise Snow White?" Asks Ebonitus, "We will need to take out the pair of them, then perhaps we can offer surrender to the others."
