Having not ascended with any thought of racing in mind, any could've just as well have surpassed construct should they have been of a mind to do so from the other ropes. That said, D.O.R.K used the opportunity in slipping and needing a moment to re-affirm her grip to finally address Mullo's inquiry. "It is simple, Shaman Mullo. We are to investigate this craft's passengers and confirming if they too can be an ally. The fact they have arrived here with a vessel far more mobile than most can even be considered a godsend, as that means Warrior Harshnag can provide aid in other ways."She explained, her voice amplified if need be to be over heard on the wind.
Though she might've added more, realizing Devin had already climbed aboard with at best only Ebonitus and Ilezenya(?) as support, she once more continued to the climb without further delay, trusting Mullo to trust their judgement and acted accordingly to it.

Ebonitus and Illezenya climb up to the top of the ladders in order to hear one of the humans respond to Devin's question of "so, who are? And what do you want?" as follows “we come to you on behalf of our lord and patron Klauth. He offers you this vessel and our services as a gift, so that you may cross his vast dominion while avoiding the many perils of the land below. War against the giants is inevitable, but he commands you forge ahead and face your destiny! The ordning of the giants is broken, and they are not united. Slay their leaders, and you may yet prevail. If you succeed in quelling the giant threat, you should you come to his hidden vale, so that he can reward your bravery.”
(Have we heard of Klauth before? If not, any info we may know? History check maybe? Is this a potential good ally, or is this a thug who we need to think twice about accepting any favors from? =)
"Who is this Klauth you speak of and what is interest in us? And how does he know who we are and what we are doing that you knew to find us here?" Devin responds.

"The Great Lord Klauth is all seeing and all knowing. He is interested in everything that is in his domain!" the spokesperson answers.

"What does Klauth know of King Hekaton? is he in his realm?" Devin asks. "And honestly this seems a bit extravagant. I mean, I don't think any of us know how to fly one of these, though I'm sure you could teach us. So we just tell you where to go and you'll go there? And what about our big friend down there? Will he be able to come?"
Devin asks these questions with all honesty. As he does so we looks around the ship, looking at what it has on it and also looking at the people and what they wear.
The spokesperson - like all the others - is dressed in black leather armour. In response to Devin's questions he says "I do not know of King Hekaton or his location. And yes we are at your service and will take you wherever you wish. However, as you can see the craft is not big and while it could easily lift your friend he would hardly have room to turn around."
(OOC: I wanted to share the picture but I'm trusting you not to metagame - you don't know the airship is a Dragon cult ship nor who or what Klauth is)
Ilezenya glances around the deck of the floating ship with an appreciative look. "We may take you up on this offer, but need to confer with our party first. And the giant must come with us - could you perhaps rig up a seat for him?"
(OOC: I assume by the time Ilezenya asked his last question, D.O.R.K has finally climbed aboard. If so, she is silently assessing the crew after sidling up beside Ebonitus and stay guarded for the moment. And if not, that's fine too!)

"Well the rope ladders wont hold his weight but Klauth has commanded us to be helpful." He signals to one of the crew standing next to the furnance who turns a wheel and the flame pouring out of the top slows and stops. The craft slowly sinks to the ledge where Harshnag, Mullo and Haetone are standing.
Devin stood quietly as the airship floated down. When they reached the ground he walked to the edge of the deck closest to where Harshnag waits.
"Harshnag, these people say they have been sent by the Lord of the North, someone named Klauth. Have you ever heard of this person? They say their ship is at our disposal and they will transport us wherever we wish to go. Are you able and willing to travel with us if we accept this offer? "
Harshnag looks over at the ship and its crew and responds in Giant "Klauth or Old Snarl as he is sometimes known is one treacherous cunning lizard. I wouldn't trust anything he or his slaves, for that's what those five are, promises. But its up to you?"
One of D.O.R.K's eyes flicker in what could be a cringing gesture... or just happened to be the result of some faulty wiring. Regardless of which, she side-eyed Klauth's subordinates if only to gleam a fleeting a reaction from the crew. Once assured none understood the giant, or at the very least had not turned immediately hostile at the insult, she took the edge of the ship. "I take it that he is a dragon. Curious, but not so unsurprising given the circumstances. Regardless, I would at least recommend making use of their flying vessel, as it would allow us to be more expedient. Least we waste precious tendays if not months going by land alone... And you had voiced previously being disturbed by our lack of expediency before." She explained plainly in giant.
"But your council is appreciated, Warrior Harshnag. At the very least, we would refrain from going to this vale. Which fortunately was not demanded with any immediacy. Not until things have been set to right. By then, it will be unlikely that we will need their services. Do you not agree?"She asked of the giant, but would look to the rest of the party on deck as well.

Mullo gives the giant an ever-so-slight glare as he begins speaking in Giant. When Dork responds in kind, her glare deepens, but then she relaxes her face and turns away to rub a hand down Haetone's neck. She isn't sure what's going on, but she has a bad feeling about this.
Devin weighs the words of Harshnag and D and then responds in Giant
"I agree with D. We take advantage of what they offer. We try and learn how to operate the thing ourselves in case it is necessary to free ourselves of the crew, or the crew is lost and we need to fly it ourselves. And we most certainly don't go visit this Klauth ourselves. We'll use what he offers in exchange for nothing hopefully. Will you join us Harshnag or wait for here for our return?"
