This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Attack the enemy with the highest health attacking Grem.
Crossbow attack: 12
(I get to reroll 1's. I rolled a 1 one on my first advantage role. I rolled a 16 stealth check last turn. I assumed that I had advantage and stealthed. Depending on a rule interpretation from Bob, Ill roll one more attack role to make up for the 1 on my first roll)
Gremryl's first attack tries to break the moldy jaw of the weakened enemy but instead misses the target by a wide margin. Undeterred by the miss, Gremryl fierceness is unmistakable as his second attack lands squarely on the moldy jaw with an explosion of fire and radiance, breaking it clean off! The Moldy Quaggoth Spore Servant is severely hurt yet still stands...albeit shakily.
Elmo sees the easy kill and aims at the skull of the weakened enemy. His attack finds its intended target this time and penetrates the thick bone of the Moldy Quaggoth Spore Servant! The patch of yellow mold on its face erupts with yellow mold spores!
Gremryl - Roll a Con saving throw!
The damage is too much for the Moldy Quaggoth to bear, however and it slumps quietly to the floor.
"You must make a decision, Leon. Standing here will do no one any good! I fear they wish to seek all of the glory of combat for themselves. That's to say nothing of their foolish ignorance to your powerful healing powers. Do you not seek to bring light to the darkness, my dear?" she says in a powerful yet tempting voice.
Two remaining Moldy Quaggoth Spore Servants remain. They don't seem to be bothered at the loss of one of their own. One of the Moldy Quaggoths roars mightily and lands a crushing roundhouse for a critical hit! Gremryl takes that punch to the face for 7 damage! It strikes and connects again with a haymaker and deals another 7 points of damage to Gremryl!
The other Moldy Quaggoth Spore Servant follows up with its attacks. The first claw attack is defended by Gremryl's shield, but the battered Paladin isn't able to deflect the second claw attack which rakes his face, taking with it a large chunk of beard and deals 6 points of damage!
“Dawn you know I want to banish the darkness and bring light where it is needed. Let us make sure this hole is sealed and head to join Rowland and the turtle.”
Leon takes a few extra rocks and piles when in front of the crack where Elmo “sealed” in Droki.
Telepathically to Dawnbringer
"Look ahead My Light. Tell me what is up ahead. We are about to go pretty fast to try and catch up"
Leon activates his boots of speed and takes off in the direction of Rowland and Mickey at 120 feet per round. As Leon quickly comes up on Mickey and the piton system constructed by Rowland after being advised by Dawnbringer and seeing it himself. Leon says a prayer to Tymora casting guidance and uses his momentum, speed, and strength to leap off Mickey's shell and clear as much of the lake as possible and aiming for as far on the rope system that Rowland created as he can.
Leon looks upon the piton system that Rowland put together and activates his Boots of Speed to help him leap across the body of water ahead of him. In a dizzying display of speed, Leon leaps off Mikey's shell, up into the air, grabbing a section of rope attached to the piton system and moves across the body of water with ease. It's truly an impressive display of athleticism and speed.
Dawnbringer telepathically to Leon - "
That was amazing, Leon! I'm truly impressed! Now let's eradicate these creatures of the darkness, shall we?!" she says with eagerness.
Elmo gets into a position where he knows he won't be seen by the enemy before aiming his crossbow and letting another deadly bolt loose on its unsuspecting prey. His aim is true and his attack successfully drives a crossbow bolt deep into the shoulder-blade of the weakened Moldy Quaggoth Spore Servant! It roars in pain and gives a menacing look at Gremryl.
Rowland will use his bonus action to light up his Radiant Shortsword while dashing forward and attempt to throw himself between the 2 remaining spores and Grem, hopefully drawing their focus. He'll attack whichever spore looks easiest to kill.
Mikey uses his tinder box and a torch to create light. He then ties the torch to the back of his head using his stylish bandana. He then proceeds across the ropes.
Mikey takes a look at the piton system and thinks back to his training and knows that this should be easy. And it is. Mikey crosses the pool using the piton/rope system without issue and reaches the other side.
Gremryl spits out some blood and grins!
“Bloody best ye got! Dam pieces of moldy earth! A halfings mother hits harder than you and twice as short! Blessings be upon ye by Moradin!”
