Gremryl looks around embarassed...."moradins balls.. where did that bugger go! ******* temples, oozez messing with stella, tielfings, and halfings.. duergar and now this!" he mutters to himself...
He casts [Tooltip Not Found] on himself to help up to (12 hps) Lay on hands (tool tip didn't work)
He looks over at morgana and Elmo "you two find anything?"
Morgana uses her Mage Hand to manipulate the gem she's discovered behind the falling water. It doesn't take long before the hand pushes in the gem and an audible *click* is heard behind Morgana. She thinks the name came from the basin somewhere...
After healing himself, gremryl gingerly touches his right ear lobe and notices the chunk of ear is still missing. With a non-committal shrug he turns at the audible click he heard when Morgana did what she did.
"What was that noise lass? me senses are tingling!"
I'd like to investigate where that noise came from.
Elmo hops into the fountain's basin for a closer look at the shiny part of the basin's bottom. Feeling around he notices that the area just around the statue's base, firmly rooted into the basin's base, is very smooth. As if it has moved, or can move to one way or another, causing a smoothing of the surface area. This may be what's revealed a shiny-metallic surface that Elmo and Morgana notice. There's nothing that Elmo finds to pull, push, or otherwise manipulate here.
While he's feeling around in there, he hears a very loud *click* from the side of the basin's outer wall that almost causes him to jump from the water!
Also hearing the *click* sound from the basin, Gremryl walks over to search for the source of that sound. As he makes his way over to inspect, his movement is reduced considerably now that the water level has reached his lower thighs, just above his kneecaps.
Right away he notices that there's an impression in the side of the basin's outer wall that looks to fit some type of component. Touch his hand to the stonework, he recalls the use of intricate lever and gem mechanisms in ancient temple building to secure valuables from thieves or most likely the uninitiated in this case. Continuing to search around the wall of the basin, you notice a total of 4 areas that look identical in shape. One of them now having been 'activated' and showing an empty socket where something should be placed into.
You know that you're running out of time to solve this puzzle if you want access to what this fountain is surely hiding, and you believe that there should be 3 more levers to activate and 4 sockets to plug with...something.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elmo stares at the oozes he perceived a bit ago. Elmo urges his party to stand clear.
"Head up mates, I want to try something.." Elmo aims his cross bow at one of the frozen oozes. ""STAND BACK LADS! Im shooting the ooze. I want to see something"
"I pushed one of the gems, heard a click, and nothing exploded. Seems pretty straight forward to me. Start pushing buttons! Avoid the ones by the slime if you can't, but push away if there are no other viable targets."
Glabbagool - "I saw you inspecting that statue before...it's not moving, and even if it were, it's doesn't appear to be a threat to you...but you wish to attack it. Why?"
Searching all of the recessed rooms, you find 4 gems that can be pushed and 3 gems that can be pulled. Gremryl identified 4 sockets in the basin's outer wall.
Push Gems:
- (1) Behind the water cascading down the wall
- (3) Behind the sculptures (A hand can't quite reach behind the sculpture without touching the sculpture)
Pull Gems:
- (1) Behind a sculpture (A hand can't quite reach behind the sculpture without touching the sculpture)
ok, I'll reach into the recess in front of me with my mage hand to attempt to manipulate the gem in front of me.

I relay my incredible findings to the rest of my Bandmates.
Elmo holds
”eh mate?”

I want to use my mage hand to pull out the 2 gems identified above as being "pull gems in the 'empty' recessed walls"
Mage hand places the liberated gems in the empty slots at the base of the statue
