Jack initiative: 17
(OOC: When I said that the arrow went through a window, what I meant was a "narrow gap in the thatch roof". I just read that most of the poor medieval huts didn't even have a chimney for the fireplace.)
Most of the houses in the area are the typical 12' x 15' one-room poor peasant houses. (No windows, no chimney, so full of smoke from fires to keep warm.) This one is "wealthier" and larger (25' x 15'), two-rooms, with the housing in the western part, and the animals and storage in the eastern half. The walls are wattle and daub. There are two woven-stick-thatch doors on the east side, and one on the south side. The southern door has been smashed down recently (probably within the last minute) and propped back up over the opening.
For this round, everyone goes at the same time, including the enemies. Post where you want to go, and what you want to do. If you enter the house, your movement will only take you to just inside the doors (D3, C6, D6). (As an example, if you decide to go through the front door to D3 and say you want to attack the nearest enemy, I'll need to know if you have a melee weapon ready or a ranged weapon. You might not have an enemy in melee range, or you might have a foe within 5' for your ranged attack.)
If you decide to charge through the walls or drop through the roof, make an Athletics check. If you are below DC 16, you lose your Action. If you are below DC 12, then you don't succeed, and are still outside.
Keep in mind, there are signs that this house was inhabited. So there might by innocent bystanders that could be hurt, if you decide to do an area-of-effect spell or charge through a wall. You don't have to enter the house this round, if you want to gather more information first. (But that will also give the enemies a chance to get ready for you.)
(After this round, we will do the regular initiative rotation. The rolls for the characters were: Trimyrai (16), Froskan (13), Jack (6), Iskander (5), Reverie (4).)

Isk will land just before his wings dissapear and charge through the door at D2. He does so carefully, taking the dodge action instead of lashing out with his glaive, in case the inhabitants of the house are on the other side of the door.
(OOC: Some ideas might have gotten buried in the long post.
If you use any of the doors, the possible places to go this round are D3, C6, or D6. So Iskander can end up at D3.
No windows in this house. But the front door (between E3 and D3) was broken and propped up, so Trimyrai can be at E2 or E3 and peek in the house.
I've put the 5 party members along the south edge of that map, but you can choose to go anywhere outside the house the first round.)

(I think I did that right? Since we’re all going at the same time, that might just be Attacking anyone who Exits normally. If that’s the case, please tell me so, because I get 2 attacks when doing it normally, lol.)

Froskan steps over towards the front door, but keeps a bit of distance from it (Maybe like G3 to be 10ft away from the door?), then uses Minor Illusion to create the sound of footsteps and armor rustling behind the hut (A1) in the hopes it will distract the people inside.
Reverie will move to C6, readying with her scimitars.

Reverie Forestgleam—Human Paladin Level 5 in Frontier City of Nunkreet Extremely busy and busy as ever recently, but I will trying to catch up as much as I can
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Init1: 23, Init2: 18
(No attacks that round.) The house is divided by a wall (the black line) that separates the family area (columns 2, 3) from the animals and storage (columns 3, 4, 5). At present, those in columns 2 & 3 see each other, but not those in the eastern half (columns 4, 6, and 7).
As Jack is leaning against the door in the southeast corner, Reverie busts through the door to the north, scimitars ready. Inside they see Warton (Wa). He was rummaging through the supplies, and chewing on a (raw) sheep leg that was freshly torn from a dead sheep at his feet. As an action, he transforms into a half-man, half-fish creature, that you recognize as a Deep Scion. (You saw one of these creatures acting as an interpreter when the sahuagin were meeting with the devils, in that cave with the slaves you freed. This one looks bigger and tougher.) As a bonus action, this creature starts a barbarian Rage. (Imagine the alien from the original "Predator" movie as it yelled a challange at Schwarzenegger.)
For the other half of the house, Froskan creates an audible illusion to the Northwest. Iskander bursts through the front entrance, while Trimyrai looks inside from the side of the doorframe. Now that you can see more of the creepy lady (BH), you realize that she is a Hag, although a kind that you are not familiar with. She was getting ready to blast the northwest corner with a Ray of Frost. She fires at Iskander, but between the illusion distraction and Isk dodging, she only hits the wall of the house.
There was a family of five, but they are all slain, ripped apart at her feet. (Blood dripping everywhere, very unpleasant even for hardened adventurers like yourselves.) The hag has an arrow-sized wound on her left arm from Trimyrai's earlier arrow, bleeding blue-black blood.
Initiative order: Hag, Warton (barbarian Deep Scion) ; party (Trimyrai, Froskan, Jack, Iskander, Reverie)

Froskan is able to use Counterspell successfully with his Reaction. The hag's greystaff glows blue with winter cold, but then fades out before the cone is cast.
(Everyone in the party is up.)

Isk brings his glaive up to shield himself from the Ray of Frost just as the magic is counterspelled. He sets his eyes on the Hag, charges, and strikes with his glaive!
Move: To within 10 feet of the Hag
Bonus Action: Transfer Hex to the Hag, cursing her dexterity
Action: Long range glaive attacks!
First Attack: 24 Damage: 11 + 5 necrotic damage
Second Attack: 21 Damage: 13 + 6 necrotic damage
+ 6 radiant damage if either of those attacks hit.
Jack hears the sounds of battle inside the house, and charges in immediately! “I’ve got ye!” Looking at the Deep Scion, he Smirks, just a little bit, before raising Leroy into the air. “This should be fun.” He then begins to swing at the infernal raging monster, hacking and slashing at it with his two-handed Sword!
