Split 5 ways, that is 52 GP apiece (same amount whether we get it in gems or raw gold).

I'd like to get it as a zircon gem (50 GP) and 2 GP. But it seems like each of us can choose what you prefer.

I'm curious.  Why zircon?

I don't recall, but has Rodolfo ever cast identify? It requires a pearl worth at least 100 gold and he doesn't have one in his inventory.

Might be he still needs one.. and if so then he can put all of his current money (43 gold) in to be able to exchange it and his split for a 100 gold pearl.

If Rodolfo needs a pearl for Identify (and the DM is okay with it), I'm happy to give up Beegred's share. In which case, Rodolfo can get a 100 GP pearl and 4 GP, instead of being bankrupt.

Pearls are not items that are mined, and mining is what the Deep Gnomes do.  However, there are casters among the Deep Gnomes, and Identify would be a staple spell.  Therefore, with a DC 15 persuasion (group) check, Nomi will trade her personal spell component pearl instead of the 260gp. 

Either way, she will give you directions to the Darklake, where you can fish to find one.  If she sells you hers, she will offer to buy it back for 260gp should you come across another.

She can also offer to identify the yellow diamond for you for free.

The party still has a bunch of gems worth 100s of GP. I'm fine with Roldofo getting a pearl for his spell, with what Nomi is offering.

Does Orubis need a diamond for his spell casting, or does he just like the sparkle?

300g worth of diamonds is required (and consumed) for revivify, not sure if that is what Orubis is thinking, but that would be Grithik's thought.

 Yup. There’s always stuff that uses diamonds

The party funds (towards the end of Beegred's inventory) includes 1700 GP in diamonds. Beegred is holding onto the box, and keeps it out of sight of strangers, but the party knows where it is. So the Revivify spell is on the table, if Orubis wants to have that ready in his daily spell list.

You don't have to worry about getting diamonds, if the deal is bad. (But as nschrock mentioned, more is better than not enough.)

Not sure what you mean by those questions.

Nomi said the elemental that comes from the gem might not be protected from the Bane. Rodolfo is asking if that's only a local thing or if he were to get to the surface, would the elemental still be in danger of being taken over by the Bane.
