So, kerric: no room to stage a few people on our side of the door without endangering people? Also: would using a run action (to compensate for the reduced distance due to difficult terrain) once things set off and the bridge is clear, require an a dex/acro roll, too?
Can we say Eldeth dusted down and grabbed one of the empty pots in preparation as the bridge scene was taking place? Or will I have to have her do it in combat?
Is Tozer still on the bridge (until init count 14), or is he standing in the tower doorway after the door was opened?
(I would rather not risk the rolls to fall off, by having 2 on the bridge at the same time.)

Just a quick note to everyone: I will be cooking most of tomorrow, and I have quite a few guests that'll be hanging out after dinner, so it's very likely I will only be posting very late tomorrow night, or not at all. I should be able to keep up w/posting at work today, though; and I will be back in full force on Friday.
Sorry for the delays guys. It's been an abnormally busy day at work.
I wouldn't worry about that. Half of the players (in another campaign) are offline, the others are busy with cooking or last minute work. Any postings the next few days are a bonus.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
I wish you all success in your cooking endeavors! Enjoy your meal and your guests. I'd say don't eat too much or drink too much, but that would make me a terrible hypocrite.
Okay, since I won't be posting for most (perhaps all) of tomorrow, I'm trying to front-load Ferry's and Eldeth's move options so you can hopefully complete this first turn without me. Feel free to make any rolls I need, using Ferry's and Eldeth's modifiers. :)
Eldeth:
1) If you will allow Eldeth to have prepared a chamber pot (as per my previously posted request,) then she will move to L10/L11 (or M10/M11 if you won't allow partial squares), and ready an attack action with a thrown improvised weapon towards the bridge spanning column D. At any enemy that goes across that bridge, either direction, Eldeth will fling the pot across the chasm to try to hit them/knock them off as they cross the bridge. (The attack is at a disadvantage, I believe, as improvised weapons are 20/60 range.)
2) If Eldeth doesn't have the pot, she will try to find a large stone nearby, use her free interact action to grab it, and then complete #1.
3) If #1 and #2 is not an option, she will use her movement to go grab an empty chamber pot (using her free interact action), then complete ready the attack action this round if she has enough movement -- stopping in the doorway of the cell, if needed--otherwise she'll move as far as she can to complete #1 on the next combat round.
Ferriman:
This is a tough one because he's so low on the initiative list. I can see the guard tower getting crammed full by the time his turn rolls around--and he only has 50 movement with dash, so he won't be able to get far in there, considering the bridge alone will eat up 40 of the movement.
1) If there is DM-allowed room for Ferry in H8, H9, H10, or G9, he will move to one of those spots using a Dash action.
2) If there is no room for Ferry in the guard tower, he will join Eldeth on bridge overwatch. Weapon options (depending on what you'll allow): a) the shackles he's been carting on his shoulder since being freed from them; b) nearby rocks; c) another empty chamber pot. Ideally, he'd get the ready action this turn; if not, and he has to move to grab a pot, then he'll do what he can to end his turn in the 4 squares from L-M 9-10 (which means using the dash as his action, and the free interaction to grab the pot) to give himself two options next round: a) cross the bridge if space frees up or b) ready an action to cover the other bridge from afar with Eldeth.
Hope that's enough info to get my turn taken care of!
Sweet, ya'll didn't make it to my turn. Judging from the actions taken, and the initiative, there's room for Ferry in the guard tower, so I just posted his move myself. :)
Still waiting on Ront to perform an action to end round 1. Then I'll figure out how to display the table (this forum doesn't like tables...) that shows who did what. Remember until everyone has played an action for round 2, it is still possible to use reactions for round 1.

One option is to create a table in Excel, take a screenshot of it, and then post it as an image.
Ferriman is currently moving fast at the guard tower. The drow poking his head out of the door is to the north, down the stairs. I would rate that as a difficult perception check. So Ferriman is not currently aware.
Ah, gotcha.

(add in tozer's bonus, please)
Is there no room by the door for people to wait, off the bridge?

Yes, using Ferriman's inspiration, Tozer manages to stay on the bridge. Let me narrate in main thread before proceeding.

Nah. Burning your action to move is penalty enough.

From everything I find in the string, I'm seeing that Buppido is still shackled. Is that correct?

No. Since Tozer gave the signal, I'll rule it makes sense he followed Prince Derendil into the tower.
Sorry for the delays guys. It's been an abnormally busy day at work. Will try to get something up soon to pass the ball into your court!
Still shackled:
Being shackled means you attack with disadvantage and attackers have advantage.

True, it's thanksgiving in the US. I'll be lenient with the posting requirements.

We pick up again seriously on Monday. I'll check during the weekend and move the story along if I can.
I asked for and would appreciate if people announced an upcoming absence.

Did Ferriman see the drow pop his head out of the door at the top of the stairs?
