Yeah I got nothing beyond what was already mentioned - I'm fine with either spiderclimb or levitate if that's what we want to try. Should be strong enough to haul people upwards if we find ledges or other tunnels up the walls - or at least hold a rope while y'all climb it.
Well we could just start climbing the thickest strand of web... Which feels like Rodolfo would never do before he's used every other option available to him.
Interesting map! Do I understand correctly that to move "up", one has to first get to the red line?
Rodolfo has a spell with range 120 feet - how should I be calculating how far it can reach? Is the dude on R8 (at 85ft horizontally) in range or should I not count things literally?
Yes, you have to move up to the red line and then you need half your movement to cross it.
Ranges work the same as any 2D map. Just measure 5ft per square. Gets too complicated otherwise.
To get unstuck, just use your action (or someone else uses theirs) to become unstuck.
I did forget one thing: At the start of a new round (top of the initiative order), there's a 10% chance spiders come and jump into the fight. The spiders fight both sides (unless in the future you end up fighting Drow... then the spiders are allied with Drow)
Has anyone tried negotiating? By "anyone", I mean someone with useful languages. (Beegred learned Giantish.)
Otherwise, I could try Gust of Wind. Our party should be on a stable platform (just to make sure the webs near our group are anchored properly), but the spell can be aimed in any direction and has a range of 60'. I was thinking angle up slightly (to avoid any of the webs that our party is standing on). That could be used to wipe out paths for the other group, or maybe knock some of our foes around.

Well I guess there goes Skameros attempt at diplomacy :) y'all know we don't have to try and shoot everything that wants to know who's stomping around their home
(EDIT: Adding an image causes the dice roller to think the dice rolls were manipulated...? Anyway, the original roll was a 5, not a 1. No spiders.)
There is definitely something odd going on for the last few weeks.
I've made a thread in the bug/support forum, where I've been documenting every bizarre "manipulated" post I've seen in another campaign. No response yet. I made a gaming post last week. Never edited. When I recently looked at the post, the die results have changed, and it is labeled as "manipulated".

Aha... When I read the special movement conditions, I thought it was always difficult terrain, and the Survival DC was only used when using Dash, to see if it would be negated or not.
That explains why my post was different than what the DM might have expected.

My intention was: If all you do is move on a turn (move + dash), then you can roll survival to try to get your full movement. On a fail, the difficult terrain penalty still applies.
(Thanks for botting me! I’ll be more online from here out!)
No problem.
And if anyone has to be away, just drop a message before leaving. Summer is here, people will be going on vacation. It's OK. I'll be away for a week or two in August myself.
What the ****.. I never edited the post and it showed attack 20, damage 9 initially.
Yeah, that has been going on for a few weeks now (post #4158 above), but it seems to be getting worse instead of better.

My bad didn't see it was my turn (or realize I wasn't still paralyzed)
Skameros will move to N13
I quickly went back through the main thread and can not find any reason Rodolfo wouldn't still be concentrating on Spider Climb. I did forget to make him roll concentration check after taking 10 damage, so there's a freeby.
That being said, as we agreed earlier, with Spider Climb Skameros is not limited by the movement mechanics. He should be able to move to M13 with movement alone, leaving his action. And I'll rule that elevation doesn't affect reach.

Skameros doesn't survive well - so if we die (again) I apologize ahead of time :)

Has it been an hour yet in game? or does Skameros still have spider climb on him

I can clearly see the post wasn't edited, yet it still has the manipulated message.
If you are no longer confident with the forum dice roller, I will accept rolls made from the character sheet. Just record the result in your posts.
I stayed at home with my daughter yesterday. Sorry for not posting.
It is Skameros's turn and a couple days have passed. If there was an obvious play I'd just take control, but Skameros has several choices.
If ArgentTheSilver doesn't post soon, what would the rest of you want Skameros to do? Or just take the dodge action and move on in the initiative?
