Both Rodolfo and Jimjar break the surface, near Glabbagool, who responds, "The yells, they're gone. I did not realize how tiresome they were. Unfortunately, they went in the direction of the King too. I do not want to catch up to them."
Rodolfo says, "I am glad you are better, Glabbagool. We are going to look for dry land now."
Rodolfo looks around for any dry land (hopefully seeing Skameros) and swims there, then immediately starts to spam prestidigitation to first clean and then warm/dry his clothing. And then others as well.
Jimjar follows suit and stands a lookout with his superior darkvision.
Beegred taps Narstin from behind, to encourage him to keep climbing/swimming. He still has a lot of air in his lungs, but he would like to reach the water's surface as soon as possible.

Narstin and Beegred are the last to break the surface of the water, to the relief of the others who wait for them on the nearby shore.
Glabbagool can be heard telepathically musing, "I need to go that way. But I don't want to follow them and listen to their outbursts."
XP for escaping: 2200 / 6 (glabbagool included) = 367 xp each.
With all of you on shore, you realize that the directions you were given by the myconids are now useless, as you are some distance away with a large body of water between your location and the 'highway' you were following.
Rodolfo sits down and draws a map in the dust with his finger, tracing their steps since the cave-in. Then he adds a bit from right before and then a bit about where he thinks they are right now.
"So I think this is roughly the direction we were going in and it should be that way," as he points to a direction he believes they were heading on the highway.
"Is there anything heading that way?"
"Also, we should take stock of our resources and rest before heading out into the unknown once again."
The party distances themselves from the underground lake and make a camp to rest. Glabbagool seems confused until you explain your need to rest before continuing. He moves away and plasters himself to a wall, and rests as well.
Once all rested, the party travels for a couple hours in long unused tunnels and quickly run into a hazard... Rodolfo notices four gas spores floating in the tunnel ahead, ominously looking like the beholders they spawned from.
Beegred athletics: 7 95/125 ft - 0.5/4 breath
Beegred will recover the rope that was used for the spell, and return it to Roldofo later.
And the next athletics check after that:
22 up to 115 / 125 ft - 1/4 breath, unless Narstin slows down

Narstin continues to struggle to swim in his heavy armor.
Narstin clears the fissure and frantically tries to swim upwards, making very little headway. However, he does move far enough for Beegred to pass.

Narstin nodsand looks at Skameros. "How much do you have left after what you fed to Glabba?"
Rodolfo Survival check: 5
The rest of the party has no reason to think Rodolfo isn't right with his directions.
Glabbagool sees Rodolfo point and says, "That is almost the same direction as I need to go to meet the king."

Rodolfo suggests, "Ok, so we know the direction. Lets quietly head that way and look for a good place to rest up before continuing."
"Glabbagool, we'd love to share your company as long as we are heading in the same direction if you don't mind."

Glabbagool responds, "I will join you, while we travel in the same direction."
