Jimjar's dart lodges in between the thorax and the head, taking it out of the fight as it crawls around in circles. (It's dead).
The last remaining fire beetle vainly bites at Xilyrah before it meets it's demise...
Bite Attack: 11 Damage: 2
(End of battle. It has 1 HP left and everyone gets a turn before it goes again.)
Buppido is still stuck, and Stool is unconscious. Narstin gets to act before Stool rolls for a death save.
Surviving the rock fall doesn't grant you XP, however as you look back at the rubble, you realize that any pursuit is going to have a hard time getting through that.
13 Fire beetles = 130xp divded by 11 = 11.8 each (rounded up) = 12XP each.
Beegred is tempted to have a "conversation" with Buppido while he is still stuck. Then Beegred has a pleasant daydream about piling more and more rocks on top of Buppido... but he helps the others dust off and grab their equipment.

Xilyrah doesn't care much for Buppido, but she acknowledges there is strength in numbers right now. She puts her hand on Beegred's shoulder in a rare moment of solidarity and says, "Let me try."

Xilyrah walks up the rubble to Beegred and Buppido. Watching Beegred try and fail to move a large boulder, Xilyrah sees a smaller one that is keeping the large one wedged in place. With a warning to move fast, she yanks out the small one. Immediately the rubble begins to shift and all three flee to the cave floor below.
In the meantime, Narstin heals Stool who is being cradled by Valthana. Stool mostly questions everyone about "why". Why was he taken from his home? Why were so many cruel to him. Why were the bugs trying to hurt him?
Giving the young myconid whatever answers they can, the group pick up their things and prod Sarith to keep leading them to Neverlight Grove.
Beegred has to pick his jaw off the floor, after watching how easily (the frail looking) Xilyrah frees Buppido. He manages to blurt out a "thanks" and then starts muttering under his breath about it being easier to open a pickle jar after someone else loosens the lid.

During the fourth shift (Valthana, Stool, Buppido and Beegred), you begin to hear the slapping of feet on the rock and earth of the cave tunnels. As you wait to gauge the situation, you become certain that they are heading in your direction.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Beegred will scout ahead. The other three should prepare to wake the others, but not to do that just yet.
He is eager to use his newfound ranger ability Umbral Sight. (Besides gaining Darkvision, he is invisible in the dark to creatures that use darkvision.) He moves quietly towards the approaching slapping feet. Stealth check: 18 (Going to use the DM Inspiration to roll again: 7 )

Beegred moves up the tunnels towards the noise until he finally sees a large group of Kuo-Toa. They flit in jerky zig-zag motions, like schools of fish do in the water. Their bare webbed feet are making the wet slapping sounds against the stone and earth that Beegred heard. One of the two lead Kuo-Toa is weaponless but the other one has a staff with a "Y" shaped head. Behind them are four more Kuo-Toa, hunched over carrying large baskets and you are fairly certain there are more behind those, serving as rear guards.
Beegred is only staying there long enough to count their numbers, and to see if they look like they will pass within spitting distance of the party's camp.
Beegred will sneak back to camp. If the Kuo-Toa are going to be passing through, then wake up everyone. He will describe what he saw to the others (whether it is only the Group 4 guards, or the entire group). Maybe someone knows whether they can be reasoned with, or if they are like those orc bandits from a few days earlier.

You had no choice but to camp in a tunnel barely wide enough for two abreast. Not only will they be passing near you, some of your party will have to wake up to let them pass, if it comes to that.
Beegred returns to the camp and wakes everyone. He asks the underdark denizens in the group their opinions about Kuo-Toa before they arrive.
Sarith looks confused, maybe even unsure about who you all are and doesn't respond.
Stool seems to think Kuo-Toa are nice, like Shuushar.
Buppido immediately wants to resort to violence, only saying 'they're all mad'.
Jimjar elaborates a little bit, "The underdark denizens all believe the Kuo-Toa are mad or insane. Their beliefs and alien perspectives are difficult to understand. Yet the Kuo-Toa do trade with the other races, build communities and offer navigation services around the Darklake. They trade in slaves, pearls, tools, and hard to find body parts, particularly those found in the depths of the Darklake. They are just as likely to want to do trade as capture you for sacrifice, to sell as slaves or eat you. It is difficult to tell until they make their intentions known."
Buppido, unfazed by his first failed attempt to free himself, tries again.

Buppido continues to struggle against the rubble keeping him pinned, cursing to Diinkerazan the whole time.
Derendil makes his two claw attacks at the nearest beetle(s):
Claw Attack: 15 Damage: 5
Claw Attack: 13 Damage: 8
Derendil shoves his claws through both fire beetles and flings them off behind him.
(Round 3: Eldeth and Jimjar can act before two of the 4 remaining beatles)
Eldeth spins to her left and leaps to Stool's defense, slashing away at another beetle (@E11).
Jimjar, freed from the rubble, steps over a few chunks of debris, raises his war pick and tries to drive it through the beetle (@ F9)
Eldeth takes a step (to D10) and skewers one fire beetle (@E11). Then she takes another step (to E11) and skewers a second fire beetle (@F11).
Jimjar moves (only 20 ft, from E2 to G6). Still has an action. You can switch to a dart, keep your to-hit and roll 1d4+2 for damage.
Jimjar, freed from the rubble, steps over a few chunks of debris, takes hold of a poisoned dart and flicks it at the beetle (@ F9)
Jimjar's dart lodges in between the thorax and the head, taking it out of the fight as it crawls around in circles. (It's dead).
