Jinara- during your time at the temple you recall studying the undead and the many monsters that fall into that classification. Your memory sparks at the thought of Lich's and mummy lords but you shake your head recalling what happened to Aryn. The beam of light around her reminded you of something else. A creature not undead but rather an aberration. Then your breath halts as the realization hits. There was an account of a beholder lair that suddenly became silent and inactive for a period of a few years. Then just as sudden it began creating rifts and tears in reality once more. When a party was finally assembled to investigate only two returned talking of a floating skull surrounded by glowing orbs... a Death Tyrant.
After Jinara's revelation (nice roll), you make your plans and finish your meals fully aware of what lies beneath the mountain. Your sleep feels restful in the comfortable safety of the magical mansion. You each awaken feeling refreshed and ready to face the undead monster plaguing the island.
(Death Tyrant that's what we're going up against... it blocks healing. If we can we need to spread out and have Cedany, Gaelin and Mucor as far from one another as possible to help heal.)
"Well that sounds fun." Aryn says. "It better be one hell of a treasure trove down there."
(I think Cedany, Valeera and I will be up close. Everyone else can be far away. We can try to have him focus on the three of us. Not sure how we do that but hopefully a few hits will catch its attention.)
“If what I remember is accurate, spreading out it wise. This isn’t like a beholder where his central eye stops magic. It stops the ability to heal. Additionally, if you die, you automatically become a zombie. Death is not an option. Gaelin, you Cedany Mucor and myself need to be opposite one another as best we can. Tyrants have arcane rays that can do a myriad of nasty things. Greater Restoration may prove beneficial to prepare. Torq, Aryn and Valeera can battle but know it flys. Just remember, do not die.” Jinara says at true dinner table.
"Isn't that always the plan? Don't die." Torq says in jest. "Valeera and I can fly, Aryn can shoot a hell of a lot further than me so we should be okay. Cedany, are you planning to be in close quarters or hanging back?"
(Let's start with the cave closest to us on the eastern mountain. If that doesn't work we can try the other eastern mountain cave then the other two caves.)
(During dinner) Cedany looks around a little disturbed at the calm, even jovial demeanor of the group. Torq's quest slips past her mind and she has to think to recall it during an awkward pause. "I still have my Pegasus. He follows me everywhere until I dismiss him. He's in my room right now. I will do whatever the party needs me to do, but I prefer to be in melee range."
The long rest finished you exit the mansion portal and with a simple flick of the wrist the portal goes invisible. Valeera transforms back into a dragon and you climb aboard as Torq guides you to the first cave on the western face of the mountain. The cave entrance is large and appears more as a hollowed out hillside. You search the large chasm that stretches roughly 100ft back but find no winding tunnel network. Unsatisfied you take off into the air and hear a familiar voice in your mind, "You chose to return... so soon. Brave, but foolish." the voice says and there's a strange silence that seems to fall over the party for the next 15 minutes while you circle to the northern face. You search for the better part of 10 minutes but find the mouth of the cave hidden slightly behind a large boulder that seems to have partially blocked the once wide entrance. As you step into the cave you are immediately aware that this cave is not like the previous one. The small bit of sunlight coming in from the opening allows you to see large stalactites and stalagmites growing across the large damp cavern. Scattered puddles of stagnant and fresh water surrounding a large central pool denote the topography of the chamber. Along the walls you spot three tunnels snake down into darkness below from the spacious entrance chamber.

"Anyone got a three sided coin? All joking aside can anyone make my arrow light up so we can see how far these go?" Aryn asks. She'll go over to each tunnel and fire an arrow down it. If none of the spell casters can make it glow she'll strap a bit of cloth and dip it in oil and light it on fire before releasing it.
Torq sits off to the side on one of the stalagmites while Aryn and Gaelin methodically approach each tunnel. Aryn draws back her first arrow and gives Gaelin a nod. He taps the end of the arrow and it glow white with arcane energy. She releases the first arrow and it travels about 90 feet before impacting a wall at the end of the tunnel. Looking down to where the arrow lays glowing, you can see the tunnel opens into a small room. Whether there are any further tunnels that connect to that room remains a mystery. The pair move to the second tunnel and repeat the process. The illuminated arrows impacts the side of the cave wall 70ft down and glances off continuing down another 40 feet before it embeds in a cluster of rubble. From the area illuminated you can see the entire tunnel has collapsed. Thanks to your keen eye sight you can see small mushrooms growing in patches on the stones and know the cave in is not a recent one. You move to the third tunnel and feel a slight increase in heat that comes in short sporatic waves. You release the arrow and watch as the arrow flies down the tunnel nearly 150 feet before impacting a small stone pillar. The arrow bounces off and lands in what you assume is a puddle because the light suddenly vanishes. A few seconds pass and then you hear a low raspy moan echo through the tunnel. The moan intensifies to a chorus of echoes and the sound grows louder and louder from the total darkness ahead. The light reappears and you realize something had covered the arrow. In the moments of light you see multiple figures advancing in your direction. The moans grow louder and louder as they approach.
Torq- you still have 2 minutes left on your casting. You can choose to continue casting or end it early. You will still roll for initiative.

Initiative: 14
(I will be away this weekend so Torq will continue to cast his spell. If any enemies get within 15 feet of me I will cancel the casting and throw down.)
Jinara will shift to be behind Aryn and Gaelin (timing his blast to be in sync with actions from Aryn & Gaelin) and aim towards the lit arrow to hit anything in the line of fire with Eldritch Blast (preferred would be one target since I have spell sniper feat, but if it works to just hit anything moving then that's fine)

Aryn will draw her bow and target the closest zombie's skull releasing one arrow. If that one falls she'll target another's head and release her second arrow.

"I've got no idea, but Jinara's right. I have some spells in mind for tomorrow to combat undead." Gaelin says racking his brain.

(What's the broad plan? Where do you want to go?)

Right before we start, Gaelin will cast Death Ward on Mucor, Cedany and Torq.
(I'll save my 7th or 8th level slot to teleport away if things are looking really bad. Then I can resurrect everyone.)

Gaelin will cast Light on Aryn's arrows before she lets them fly. "I can only do one at a time."

While Aryn and Gaelin do the arrow thing Torq will cast commune with nature again.
I want to know:
location of the most powerful undead.
location of any underground treasure
location of any underground buildings
