(If Scupper shows us the markings he's identified, would it be feasible to look for similar markings to flag them, even if we don't necessarily understand them?)
(I guess we vote on which way to go? Voting Crossroads!)
It would be possible. They are deliberately intended to be hard to spot, so if you have proficiency in perception you can make straight rolls. Otherwise it would be with disadvantage.
I can start. I’ve got proficiency +4 but figure that can’t be the best one. Also if we bump into anyone down here, I can speak thieves cant and try to find the guild. Probably should have done that earlier. 🤪
Dekhan will act like an off-duty cop at a concert and really try to put out the "Don't worry, I'm cool" vibes if they run into any thieves guild members.
The crossroads does seem like a good place to begin scoping out the sewer. Incantis begins to ritual cast find familiar while the others finish their preliminary investigations.

Incantis, half-elf warlock (great old one) 4/bard 1 ● Thorok Earthhand, hill dwarf mountain druid 6/grave cleric 2
Cragmyre Ironseed, earth genasi ancestral barbarian 3 ● Cyrus Natriallae, aquatic half-elf warlock of the deep 3
Unfortunately, all four exits look much the same; there's little to distinguish them. Perhaps the south-east to north-west passage is a little larger, a little more like a main channel. You don't see anyone around at the moment.
Varinth, you see some very well built and probably quite old sewers; they're impressive, but the newly-rebuilt sewers of Neverwinter are probably better you would imagine. You don't think you've ever been down there, at least not sober.
Incantis remains at the door to the Forsaken hideout, casting his spell. He's still within sight and earshot of the rest of you, though this will not be the case if you continue on.
There are three exits - to the north-west, south-east and south-west, or you could go back north-east the way you came.
Scupper heads down the northwest passage, which curves northwards as it goes. Perhaps a hundred feet from the rest of the party, you see more sewer tunnel and another crossroads up ahead, with passages continuing north, east and west. Make a fresh Perception check.
Incantis is at Varinth's side, inspecting him. "I've no more will over the weave at my disposal, are you feeling alright?" He telepaths to Dekhan, Can you heal Vaz? The rest of the time while Scupper scouts is spent summoning Zhudala, and as soon as she materializes he'll send her after Scupper to help (sc)out.

Scupper, you see a shadow move slightly. Might be nothing. It's up ahead and to the west; you would have to move quite some way from the party in order to investigate.
Strix, you follow the tunnel a good two hundred feet as it curves slightly so that it is headed due south, until you also come upon a crossroads where it continues east, west or south ahead of you. Down the west tunnel is a door set into the side of the walkway.

We could split up for jest a sec. Go check each path and come back. Each be quiet as an elf mouse.
Without waiting for an answer, Scupper takes the main path to scout ahead. Northwest I think

Wh.. wha happened? Vaz looks down at his blood covered body.
'm I ded? he says meakly
Dekhan will wait for Scupper to return, doing his best to keep as many of his friends in sight as he can.

I..I don't know. Varinth answers Incantis. I can't feel my.. everything.
He tries sitting up.
