Sen is looking around, hoping to see Anna although he's not completely sure he'd recognise her if he saw her:  Perception 7  There's so many people here.  I wonder if any of them is A... our target.

The party plus Gracious and Buddy enter The Tooth. All of you are shocked when you enter - this is considerably bigger than the cavern you had been in.

There are, basically, three levels to the club: there are three large pits at the bottom, spikes lining the walls of each. In one pit, there are beasts fighting; in the next, warriors; and in the third, a free-for-all. There are barriers constructed at the top of each pit in an effort to keep any of the spectators from falling in, with signs indicating that any unregistered person who enters the pit either accidentally or on purpose forfeits their life immediately. There are several bars around the perimeter of the main floor with two bartenders working each one. There is a stage setup to the side that is currently occupied by several bards: one with a lute, one a drum, one with a horn. The music is difficult to hear over the din of the crowd, but it is a welcome presence for some. There are a few tables spread throughout this level, hightop and low, and all are presently occupied. Servers float between these tables and the bar filling drink orders, trying to remain as inconspicuous as possible. The top level is really just a small balcony, a sort of VIP section, for a handful of people to watch the fights. It's accessible by stairs on either side that have guards stationed at the bottom.

There is a shriek from the crowd followed by a roar of applause as one of the pit fights reaches it's inevitably conclusion. A wiry elf emerges from the pit, covered in blood, carrying something in his teeth -- he holds it up to the crowd for their approval, and you see he has removed the arm of his opponent. The crowd cheers louder.

As Aria scans the crowd, she sees both of the Stonetooth brothers - Sebastian is watching one of the pit fights, while his brother Regrim is drinking at one of the bars.

When Sen regains his nerve and surveys the room, his eyes focus on the occupants of the balcony. There are two Drow, who, though they do not appear to be heavily armed, seem especially dangerous. There is the older human they encountered in the Crawling Spider earlier. There are two others he cannot quite make out. There is a large, heavily armored human man whom everyone seems to defer to.

And by his side, in studded leather armor, hair pulled back into a messy braid, is a woman who Sen would bet his life was Anna Kelver. 

"Sen! Have you ever seen a place like this?!" Usul asks, adding "We should do our best to stay low... We don't want to end up in the fighting pits!" and following Sen's gaze sees the woman and asks "Is that Anna?! Who the hell is that she's with?"

(With his passive perception, I don't know that Usul would be able to also spot Anna. It's up to Sen to relay the information, if he chooses to.)

I think I see her, says Sen quietly to Usul (and the others if they are within earshot of a whisper).  Don't look too quickly.  Up there.  Damn.  Well, I guess we found her.  Now I think we need to find out what we've found.  Let's find out who those people are that she's with, before we go charging in.

(Are there any free tables nearby?)

"And now that we've found her... what are we even supposed to do? Shaddy just wanted information. If she's happy here we have no intention of forcing her to go back. And we're still a bit skeptical about who's actually in the right here..." Usul replies adding "But for now yes, let's go get a seat and watch the show, and Anna, to see if we can learn more."

Crush would start breathing heavily as the bloodlust inside of him begins to reach a boiling point. "Crush no have good fight in long time" He would say with a grin as his back heaves up and down with every breath. "Weak kobolds not real fight.... " He would say looking up to the ogre with a smile on his face. 

Aria tries to casually not stare too long up at the balcony once she hears Sen point Anna out, but she does... almost as if studying her. But you can't really tell with almost her entire face covered. "We definitely can not charge in there. I've got an idea but let's wait a bit and see if we can't pick up on anything."

Sen is still looking around and, if he finds an empty table, will sit down and encourage the others to do the same.  We need to talk.

Aria joins Sen at the table. "What is on your mind?"

We need to talk to Anna.  No, we need to listen to Anna.  We need to find out what we're doing.  What Shadrach wants.  What the right thing to do is.  Sen hesitates.  I don't know why that matters so much to me.  I'm no bloody hero.  But if she's running or hiding from something... someone... well, I know how that feels.  In an unconvincing attempt to change the subject, he adds: I wonder who that guy she's with is.

While Sen speaks, Aria continues to look up at the balcony and thinking to herself "Something feels off..." she breaks the glance for a brief second and acknowledges Sen. "You're right. We have to figure out a way to either get up there or get her down here." She sighs, uncertain..."And with as little incident as we can try."

"Well... We've probably got the most logical personal connection with her, since we've been staying at the Hostel with Ma and Pa for so long..." Usul says, adding "Though we're not sure how we can get to the balcony to talk with her."

Aria nods and then leans over to Sen "Do you remember what Ma and Pa sound like?" Aria pulls down her cloak and scarf, she has casted Disguise Self and once they are removed you see Ma.

(I am so tired and beat down from today and reading this, I'm so excited this is the plan you all are coming up with.)

While the party tries to put together a plan to get Anna's attention without drawing any attention to themselves, you see a couple of Dragonborn guards approach Buddy, who is standing by one of the fighting pits like a little kid... a gigantic little kid... waiting for his turn to go in and fight. At the same time, another guard approaches the party and says to Crush, "You ready, big man? You're up next."

"Of course we do." Usul replies, adding "Though... Imitating their voice is not something we've ever tried, nor will likely be good at..."

Crush will just nod to the dragonborn and draw his weapons. He would give the ogre a small bump with his thick armored elbow to get his attention and ensure that he is following before looking to the ogre. "Fight good" He would say with a snort.

A familiar voice from the balcony calls out, "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, OUR NEXT BOUT IS A SPECIAL ATTRACTION..." the fights happening in the other two pits stop -- even an owlbear that is fighting is caught offguard by the announcement and freezes temporarily.

"OUR FIRST TEAM... YOU KNOW THEM WELL... LADIES AND GENTLEMEN... THE STONETOOTH BROTHERS!"

Sebastian and Regrim gather themselves and climb into the pit, Sebastian drawing two swords, Regrim a sword and a shield. 

"AND TONIGHT, THEIR CHALLENGERS... THE EMBODIMENT OF STRENGTH AND RAGE..." A light source appears over Crush and the crowd roars in approval, and Crush ((I assume?)) roars back at them. While this adoration is being heaped on Crush, without warning, one of the Dragonborn guards near Buddy shouts something and shoves him, and when Buddy turns around to challenge him, the other one pulls out a blade and in a broad, sweeping motion, slashes it across the back of Buddy's legs. The ogre drops to his knees in a howl, and now that he is down to eye-level, the other guard headbutts him, knocking him prone. The two guards begin pounding on Buddy. Gracious tries to run to his friend's aid, but is clotheslined by another guard and taken down.

A second light appears over the party, and the voice says "AND HIS NEW PARTNER..." One of the people in the shadows steps forward on the balcony. It is the older human man that you spoke to in the room at the Crawling Spider. The heavily armored man next to him gives the party a satisfied, devilish smile. 

Who is Crush going to choose to replace Buddy?
