Aria places her hand on Sen's shoulder as he glares at the ravens... "Are those the same ravens again?"

Sen jumps a foot in the air, screams a scream that's really more of a loud squeak, and takes off down the street at full speed.  After about fifty feet, he realises that he recognises the voice and had actually been waiting for the others to return.  He looks over his shoulder, and at the sight of Aria he slows down and sheepishly trots back.  Um.  Hi.  Sorry, what was the question?

Aria looks apologetic... "I'm sorry Sen.. I didn't mean to startle you. But you were entranced looking at those ravens over there. Have they been following you?"

It's my fault, I'm sorry.  I'm just a little jumpy.  I was just studying the ravens.  I can definitely see something magical, an aura around them.  I could feel them making me more paranoid, more afraid.  I think they are maybe affecting lots of people.  I wonder if they made the men in the alley more aggressive, more violent.  If this is happening across the whole city...  He shrugs, not sure that he's right and definitely not sure what to do about it.  

Aria looks over to one of the ravens and just glares at it.. "Hey bird... what gives? We're getting real tired of your shenanigans. What's the deal!?"  Unknowingly, Aria casts speak with animals

I really need to figure out the damn bracket system lol

Veryes looks at Sen curiously "You OK there buddy? What the hell happened? You kind of flaked out on us at the gate... I don't want to stir the pot, so to say but, something smells funky with this soup. Are you going to fill us in on why you split?"

Veryes jingles the pouch under her shirt and says "I've got a cut of the gold here for you but I want to know what going on. If were working together then we're working together and I think we need need some answers"

Sen shakes his head.  I won't take money when I didn't help out with the job.  I'm really sorry about what happened.  I just... I have something, something that belonged to my father.  It's not really worth anything, but it looks expensive.  It's all I have to remember him by.  This one time I was searched by the guards going into Neverwinter and they just took it, because they couldn't believe someone like me could have something like that.  They thought I must have stolen it.  I just... I remembered that, and how hard it was to... steal it back.  It's okay.  It won't happen again.  

(DM.. Is he telling the truth? I don't like tension in the party but I just met Sen in an inn a few days ago... so: 8)

Usul says to Veryes, only half under his breath "if he doesn't want his share we're fine splitting it ..." And then to Sen "if you ever need help stealing something back, or keeping something hidden, we've got pretty quick hands and can be rather quiet when needed."

"No work, no pay" Crush would say flatly with a grunt an he stands next to Veryes and Sen. "You work next time..... right" the large orc would say dropping down to one knee and sticking his large green index finger into Sen's chest.

Sorry for nothing tonight, had a hospital trip today and just now realized I forgot to login and check the thread. I'll sneak on from work if I can and update. Sorry.

I... um, thank you, Sen says to Usul.  I think it's okay now though, but...  and then he notices Crush kneeling in front of him and feels the orc's finger push into his chest.  He flinches, takes two steps back, and doesn't answer.  He finds a place to stand that's as far away from the orc as he can manage, and listens miserably while the others decide what to do.

Crush would stand up and shake his head with a look of disappointment before taking his portion of what was going to be Sen's cut. "Crush fight for you... You not fight for Crush..." He would mutter with a grunt as he turns his back to Sen and looks towards his other companions, preparing to follow their lead. 

Feeling the awkwardness of the situation Usul does all he knows to do, which is to change the subject, saying "Right... so... on to find those brothers?" while he gives Muad some head scratches, not making eye contact with anyone in the group

In a thick accent, one of the ravens says to Aria, "I'm gettin' reeeeeeaaaaaaal tired of your shenanigans too, pal!" 

As far as anyone can tell, Sen is being honest. He's genuinely afraid of having to go through the checkpoint.

You've been working on this case for 2 days.

Aria is startled “Wait a second, what do you mean my shenanigans? YOU’RE TALKING TO ME?”  Aria quickly grabs Veryes.... “The raven is talking to me.....I...ummm...”  She’s a little flustered and tries to compose herself. “Bird, do you have a name?”

"Name's Frank." He puffs out his chest.

“Hello Frank... it seems you and your friends have some issue with my friends... err associates. Any particular reason why?” Aria puts her hands on her hips and now making direct eye contact with Frank.

Veryes pats Arias back "Well alright! What are they saying? I guess one calls itself Frank? Tell Frank he's a poor excuse of a bird and you'll call his big cousins the Ravens to peck his eyes out if he doesn't stop following us" She laughs at herself and looks are Aria seriously "No, don't say that! I'm just kidding!"
